Surface Preparation: Clean all concrete surfaces free of laitance, dust, dirt, cavities, projecting nibs etc.by grinder and wire brush. Grease should be cleaned using a chemical degreaser and washed with clean water and allowed to dry. Remove all protrusions from concrete surfaces using a fine hair broom finish. Remove moss and lichen manually and treat the surface with a fungicide. Wash the surface thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry. Standing water must be removed to prevent subsequent compromise of waterproof properties. Surface should be absolutely dry before application of Sikalastic M862. The surface should be grinded to remove contaminants, laitance and weak concrete, so as to have a sound concrete surface with adequate profile.
Crack Repair: Make 25mmx25mm “V” shape groove cutting at all visible cracks. Supply and apply of High Grade Dual Shrinkage Compensated Pre Packed Cement Based Repair Mortar such as SikaEmaco S 348 of MBS / MonoTop 122 F of Sika / equivalent, using SIkaEmaco SBR 3 of MBS SIKA make as bonding agent

Epoxy Grouting: Drilling Holes - Drilling holes in structural members at the intervals as per recommendation of engineer in charge. Cleaning of holes - Clean the holes by air blower prior to fixing nozzles. Fixing of NRV Packers: Insert 12 mm dia., 50~75 mm long injection packers in cleaned holes with epoxy resin based putty or quick setting mortar. Cutting of Packers: Cut the packers by cut of wheel after completion of grouting without damaging structural elements. Grouting - Provide grouting after fixing the injection ports at predetermine locations with the help of suitable injection grouting pumps at suitable pressures using two-component, high strength, low viscous (<350 cps @ ambient temperatures) epoxy injection resin system having minimum pot life of 30 minutes at ambient temperatures, achieves compressive strength higher than 55 MPa at 1 day & 65 MPa at 7 days; Flexural strength higher than 55 MPa at 7 days; slant shear bond strength higher than 15 MPa in 7 days such as SikaInject 471 of SIkA make
Prepare Coving at required joints with fillet of size 150mm x 150mm with CM 1: 3 admixed with as SikaEmaco SBR 3 of MBS SIKA make. The product shall have minimum butadiene content of 37% by weight. The polymer shall be capable of being used as bonding agent and shall have pull-off bond strength not less than 1 MPa
Waterproofing layer: Priming: Ensure 28 days Old Concrete & intrinsic moisture of concrete should be up to 4-5%. Apply SikaFloor P 2525, a two component, 100% solids, solvent free epoxy primer for use with various Sikalastic® liquid applied membranes over the mother concrete in 200-250g/sq.m Subsequent coats can be applied after 4 hours when primer is touch dry or as per site condition not less than 48 hrs. Pour the mixed primer material onto the prepared substrate and apply by trowel or squeegee. Ensure a continuous, pore free coat covers the substrate. If necessary, apply two coats. Waterproofing Membrane -Providing and applying solvent free , >98% solids, Two component, hand applied, PU waterproofing using Sikalastic M 862 of MBS Sika at 1.5mm total average DFT to be applied at minimum consumption of min 1.8-2.0 kg per sqm incl. wastage as per approved manufactures specifications. - Tensile strength in Range of 6-8 Mpa as per ASTM D 412 - Elongation > 600% ASTM D 412 - Tear > 30N/mm as per ASTM D 624 - Shore A Hardness 75+-5 as per ASTM D 2240 - Crack bridging 3.2mm as per ASTM C 836
