Dismantling of existing duct and other controls & accessories complete all as required and directed by Engr-In-Charge.
Design, supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of Scroll chilled of water cooled Central Air Conditioning plant, water cooled with multi compressor comprising of semi- hermetic/hermatic/open type compressors, DX type evaporator shell and Tube type condenser, suitable expansion device for operation on and normal capacity of minimum nominal capacity 3x50 TR each (Two Nos working 50 TR each and one No as standby 50 TR) with IPL value should be less than 0.48 KW per TR required all as per specifications, drawings and with design conditions comprising of the following:-
Item no 2.00 Contd.... (A) CHILLER PACKAGE UNIT:- Micro processor controlled chiller unit complete, factory assembled, factory tested of capacity not less than 50 TR x 3 Nos (one number as standby and 2 x 50 TR minimum nominal cooling capacity) working on latest eco friendly (with go green house effect) refrigerant (Green Gas) comprising of scroll compressors operated with green gas suitable for 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase, piping controls & accessories, starter & microprocessor control panel refrigerant, oil charged mounted on common base frame with anti vibration pads complete as per manufacturer's specifications as recommended by OEM : 03 Nos (Two Nos working at a time and one stand by).
Item no 2.00 Contd.... NOTE: (i) Efficiency of scroll type chiller package shall comply with ECBC norms with power consumption less than 0.75 KW/TR on full or part load. (ii) The contractor shall submit catalogue indicating model No. of unit offered and indicating power consumption at 25%, 50%,75% and 100% load for approval of GE before placing the final order.Power consumption at part load shall also be as per ECBC norms. (iii) The Scroll chillers shall be accepted by GE based on test certificates. (iv) RCC foundation as per manufacturer's standards shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted.
Item no 2.00 Contd.... (a) Compressors: Scroll compressor Hermetically sealed with minimum loading capacity 25%, operating voltage 360-440 volts, 50Hz, 3 phase AC supply and working with refrigerant R-410A/R-407C/R-134A (b) Condenser section: Shell and Tube type condenser internally knurled copper tubes. (c) Expansion Valve : Electronic expansion valve should be capable enough to operate on wider temperature range with energy efficient improvement at part load conditions, as per manufacturer's specifications. (d) Evaporator: DX type evaporator all as per manufacturer's specifiecations. (e) Safety protection: Safety protection on low cooling temperature, low oil pressure, high refrigerant pressure electric leak, compressor overloading, high/low voltage and single phasing shall be provided. Automatic control of refrigerant condition and compressor ON/OFF status and loading sequence system shall be provided. (f) Refrigerant: HFC-134A/HFC-410A/HFC-407C of zero ozone depletion potential refrigerant circuits of total capacity as per manufacturer's specifications. (g) Control : Microprocessor control with LED interface capable of monitoring all machine operating parameters like suction/ discharge pressure, Oil pressure, compressor operating hours, set point, air temperature, entering/leaving water temperature etc complete and precisely manages the operation of compressors, expansion devices fans and of the evaporator / chiller water pump for optimum energy efficient as per manufacturers specifications.
Item no 2.00 Contd.... (B) CONDENSER WATER CIRCULATION SYSTEM:- Comprising of the following:- (i) FRP inducted draft cooling tower 2 Nos. of 110% capacity of the plants (working capacity minimum 110TR) suitable for above plant conditions complete with spray section, honey comb fill, CT fan, TEFC Motor, intake bird screen and other accessories without cut off arrangements at the time of low ambient conditions (Technical specifications as per the manufacturers or OEM recommendations)-01 Job (ii) Condenser of adequate capacity of above plant as per OEM recommendation (shell & tube type) consisting of copper tubes - 03 Nos. NOTE : Necessary water supply line and pit masonry for tapping water from the existing pipe line/tank shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) HDPE/ PVC make up water tank of 5,000 litres capacity (2 Nos) installed on PCC/brick staging for makeup water requirement including brass float valvee with polyethylene ball, over flow and drain arrangement, incoming connection of GI pipe 50mm bore medium grade from tank to tapping point including necessary cutting of existing pipe line and tapping of branch connections with GI pipe 25mm bore medium grade all as directed- 01 Job. Quoted rate shall be inclusive of provisioning all connected incoming pipe lines from existing sources and all outgoing (iv) Energy saving Mono block pump type 3 phase, electric driven pump set of 50% capacity and discharge as per capacity of plant working on 415V, AC, FASD starter for re-circulation of condenser water with ribbed rubber vibration isolation pads three Nos (Two nos. working and One No as stand by). 100mm dia pressure gauges on both discharge and suction side of pumps shall be provided at the outlet of each pump. mounted on ISMC frame and including painting with primer and anti corrosive paint on PCC foundation complete all as specified or as per recommendation of OEM - 01 Job. Note :- Pump casing- Cast iron, Impeller-bronze/cast iron, shaft HSS- as per manufacturer, Material of seal- Mechanical seal. The condenser water pumps shall have minimum flow rate of 4.0 USGPM/Ton. (v) Condenser water MS Class 'B' tubing medium grade of suitable size by electric arc continuous welding two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer as per approved colour code fixed on supports, walls floors etc for connecting chiller package unit, pump sets and cooling tower, including filters, valves, pressure gauges, purge cocks at upper most position, blind flanges, strainers with bypass arrangements. (vi) Non chemical electrostatic type with control panel on line scale preventer of required size and capacity of the condenser water pumping system and including piping and control valve total 03 Nos for individual units.

(C) CHILLED WATER CIRCULATION SYSTEM : Comprising of the following:- (i) Chiller unit - 03 Nos (ii) Energy efficient Mono block pump type 3 phase electric driven pump sets working on 415V AC recirculation of chilled water of 50%, plant capacity - 3 Nos (Two Nos working and one No standby) including 100mm dia Pressure gauge shall be provided on delivery side of pumps including rubber vibration isolation pads for mounting including all connections complete. Note : Pump casing - Cast iron, impeller-Bronze/Cast iron, Shaft HSS- as per manufacturer, Material of seal- Mechanical seal. The chilled water pumps shall have minimum flow rate of 2.4 USGPM/TON (iii) Chilled water MS class 'B' tubing medium grade of suitable size, fixed on supports, walls, floors etc for connecting chiller package units, pump sets, AHUs including fittings, valves, pressure gauges, purge cocks at upper most position blind flanges, strainers joined by electric arc continuous welding all joints sealed with bitumen, laced with chilled water piping insulated with 50mm thick EPS pipe section of TF quality of density 16KG / Cum and then cladded with Aluminium sheet of 28 SWG thick or plastering with sand cement 15mm thick in two layers over chicken wire mesh where buried under earth. (iv) HDPE/PVC Expansion tank of 2,000 litres capacity including pipe connections and insulation with 50mm thick fibre glass wool covered with chicken wire mesh of density of 24 KG/Cum finished with sand cement plaster including civil works and painting with 3 coats of cement based paint and necessary piping, control valves on inlets and wash out, float valve etc - 01 Job.
Item no 2.00 Contd.... (D) AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM :- Comprising of the following: (a) Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of factory made high static double skinned horizontal type backward curved Air Handling Unit (AHU) with minimum 50mm static pressure with suitable CFM with 0.6mm thick pre coated outer skin & 0.6mm thick inner skin made out of GI sheet not less than 22 gauge. The insulation with 25mm thick PUF panels. The AHUs will be floor mounting with anti-vibration pads for cooling the air with all accessories and controls comprising the following including painting etc as per standard practice. Note : (a) Static pressure may vary according to the design. (b) The same shall be submitted through GE for approval of the accepting officer along with the number of AHUs and its CFM also. Note : 02 Nos AHU shall be provided of suitable capacity as per heat load calculations. (b) Supply,Install,testing and commissioning of Hot water generator of suitable capacity for re-heat in monsoon & winter. (c) Monoblock hot water pumps of 100% capacity squirrel cage induction motor type continuous rating TEFC operating on 415V, 50HZ AC, Class 'B" insulation for circulation of hot water all as specified and directed. (d) Humidstats and Thermostats are to be provided in AHU room. (e) Three way mixing valve of required size with motorised actuator and modulating thermostat control for each AHU. (f) Acoustic insulation with 25mm thick fibre rigid boards and finished with RP tissue paper and 28mm gauge aluminium perforated sheet up to 5m from outlet of the air plenum including 5 micron filters in air plenum for all AHUs all as specified and directed. (g) Under deck insulation for AHU rooms shall be provided with Fire retardant XPE closed coil of 18mm thickness with metalised polysterfilm and self adhesive backings with protection peel off paper. (h) Fresh air damper with GI bowl/fittings and mosquito proof netting shall be provided for each AHU. (j) Hot water MS tubing medium grade of suitable size, fixed on supports, walls, floors etc from pump sets to AHUs including fittings, valves, pressure gauges, purge cocks at upper most position, blind flanges strainers joined by electric Arc continous welding all joints sealed with hot water piping insulated with 50mm thick EPS pipe section of TF quality of density 16 Kg/Cum and then cladded with aluminium sheet of 28 SWG thick and where pipes are laid under earth insulation with sand cement plaster 15mm thick in two layers over chicken wire mesh. Make of pipes : Jindal/Tata. (k) Quoted rate shall be inclusive of aluminium insulated flexible ducts to connect from duct to container/vessel by means of necessay fittings up to the length 15m as per site requirement - 10 Nos.
Item no 2.00 Contd.... (E) AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM : Comprising of the following:- (i) Supply and return air duct (RA duct where ever reuquired) make out of commercial grade GI sheet Zinc coating 120 grade, IS-277 and factory fabricated as per SMACNA-1995 strandards and as per IS-655 required portion of duct shall be acoustically insulated with strnded size of AC sheets insulated with 25mm thick resin bonded fibre glass wool of density 24 Kg/cum covered with factory laminated coil fixed adhesive tape & finally cladded with 26 SWG aluminium sheet & supported by internal channel & clamping. Wherever the ducting passes through un conditioned space shall be insulated with 50mm thick resin bonded fibre glass wool of density 24 Kg/cum and covered with GI chicken wire mesh and cladded with aluminium foil fixed with adhesive tape and finally cladded with 26 SWG aluminium sheet & supported by internal channel & clamping wherever the ducting is exposed to sky shall be insulated with 50mm thick resin bonded fibre glass wool of density 24 Kg/Cum covered with polythene sheet faced hessian cloth, GI chicken wire mesh and cladded with sand cement plaster and supported by MS channel & clamps complete all as directed. (ii) Aluminium powder coated double deflection adjustable type, supply air grills/diffusers with MS volume control dampers and Aluminium powder coated fixed bar type return air grills/diffusers without volume control damper for return air- 1 Job. (iii) Fire dampers automatic type UL stamped fusible plug (CPRI Certified) and operated with stainless steel spring made out of 16 SWG sheet and limit switch to be provided in each main supply air duct near plenum in AHU room for each AHU and interlocked with AHU motor to cut off circulation of air in case of fire - 01 Job. (iv) Factory made heater bank of suitable capacity in three step complete with strip/tubular type duct size heater insulated enclosure, thyristor, air state, thermostat, air pressure switch etc as required to achieve designed conditions with necessary copper conductor wiring for banking complete for each AHU..
Item no 2.00 Contd.... (vi) Earthing: Earthing of electric equipments with galvanised steel earth platae electrode 600x600x6mm buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level, connecting to and includng GI strip 32x6mm (up to the body of the equipment) by means of two GI bolts/nuts/washers. Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed laayers of charcoal dust and common salt 15cm thick all around bottom and top and watering pipe 50mm dia projected 30cm above the GL with one socket and removable gI plug on top x 2.25m light grade perforated galvanized steel top with socket and plug and bottom connected to earth plate by silt and tow bolts/nuts/washers. Earth strip shall be protected by 40mm bore GI light grade pipe to test point/equipment. The earth strip shall be tested after careful completion as per IS specifications - 14 Jobs Note : Earth work, GI pipe as required is deemed to be included in the unit rate.
Item no 2.00 Contd.... (H) Civil Work :- Comprising of Masonary foundation for chilling units, pumping sets, cooling tower and make up water tank and AHU etc, by making opening in the brick wall and making good for duct pipes, cables and fresh air intake complete all as directed. This AC plant system is being installed in existing building which is being used for operation. This involves a lot of alteration/modification in the building. All these modification will be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. The tenderer is advised to visit the site prior quoting the rate. The tenderer will submit a detailed structural drawing for necessary support structure for supporting the duct AC plant room to the building through GE for the approval of accepting officer. The cost of this support structure is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Notes :- The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the following:- 1. All civil works required to install, test and commissioning the equipment such as earth work excavation, RCC foundation for equipment, necessary cable ducts with MS covers 10mm thick duly painted, earth work excavation for laying pipe, cable etc & making good all disturbed/ broken surfaces to match existing surface including fixing the ducting, painting/distemper/colour wash etc. 2. Necessary water supply GI pipe connections of suitable size and including control valves for the cooling towers/expansion tank and A/C plant from existing water supply connection. 3. Suitable provision to connect condensate outlets from AHUs fan coil units to main drainage through HDPE/PVC/GI pipes. 4. All three phase motors shall be provided independent single phasing preventor with phase and over load protection and including with electronic interlocking by various cut out pressure switches and connections. 5. Size of earth continuity conductor shall be GI strip 32 x 6 mm for motors above 50 HP, GI strip 25 x 4mm for motors 25 HP to 50 HP and 4SWG GI wire for motors up to 25 HP. 6. All loads up to 63A shall be controlled by MCB and MCCB for loads above 63A 7. Manufacturers, Technical back up after sales service support shall be provided for chiller package.
Item no 2.00 Contd.... 8. Suitable supports for holding the ducts and pipes will be provided by tenderer as specified and directed. The tenderer shall also examine at site the method of provision of supply Ducts from AHU to entry of the bldg and inside the Conditioned space and any Columns/ Beams / ANgle Iron frames etc if required to support the ducts grills. 9. Control wiring with copper conductor cables. 10. Air filters shall be of 5 microns in plenum and 10 microns for AHU pre filter. 11. Velocity of air in supply air duct shall not exceed 450m/min (1500 FPM) and velocity of diffuser outlet shall not exceed 150m/min (500 FPM). 12. Any work not included in the above details, but is an inescapable technical requirement for the efficient performance and smooth functioning of the plant shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. 13. COP shall not be less than 4.7. 14. The design conditons as specified in the tender shall be achieved within maximum 129minutes time. 15. 3 to 6 core flat/round copper conductor of suitable size for compressor motors, cooling tower motor, chiller motor, condenser motor and AHU motors etc. 16. Perforated GI sheet cable tray 100mm width fixed on angle iron supports grouted in wall for carrying all cables. 17. Initial charging of oil and refrigerant shall be deemed to be incuded in the quoted rate. 18. Under duct insulation in AHU rooms. 19. The complete plant is to be installed, tested and commissioned only by the skilled engineer/team of the original Manufacturer for the chiller packages. Necessary confirmation is to be submitted by the contractor after completion of the work with test certificates before department undertake further testing as per tender and cost shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 20. The contractor shall submit the supply & return duct design & layout drawings through GE for approval of accepting officer within one month from the date of acceptance. 21. Phase-II summer, monsoon & winter tests shall be carried out as specified in the Particular specifications and testing officer to be nominated by accepting officer. 22. After completion of Phase-I test, the plant shall be continously run for 24 hours (three shifts of 8 hour each per day) by the contractor by providing services of one operator in each shift 08 hours till completion of all the Phase-II tests and he shall be liable to carry out all the maintenance or replacement of parts ( if any) required during this testings. 23. Any damage of wall/ electrical points/medical equipments/pipeline etc installed at site to be made good upto entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.
PLC & HMI Supply, installation, programming, testing and commissioning PLC (Programmer logic Control) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) including required DDC's units with required input/output modules for air conditioning units with feedbacks from inside conditioned area such as temperature and humidity including necessary control cables and power. The both PLC & HMI can be mounted in a single box/can be mounted separatekly. The scope includes power supply unit for both PLC and HMI necessary subject work complete in all respect and as per site requirement. PLC & HMI all below functions with display and controls. 1. AHU 1 & 2. 2. Chiller 1, 2, & 3 display & ON/Off controls 3. All pumps ON/OFF control and display. 4. Temperature control and display. 5. Humidity control and display. 6. AHU Supply & Return air temperature control and display. 7. BMS connectivity. 8. Data logger. 9. Fire. 10. Heater Banks 1, 2 & 3 control and display. 11. Hot water generator ON/OFF controls and display. 12. Monsoon & winter mode.
Supply, laying and testing of cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 150 SqmmX 3.5 core (earthed) complete (from existing LT Panel to Bldg Main panel) laid in trenches/ducts/encased in GI pipe/fixed including taking down of existing unservicable cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits,manholes, pier holes, for laying of UG Cable etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge
Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge
Removing excavated material n.exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of dry clean Ganga river of sand 8 cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified. Note: Punned thickness 18 cm shall only be measured.
M&L for brick, sub class 'B' bricks laid dry, flat, length equal to width of brick over sand cushioning in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed
Taking down carefully (aluminium) point wiring complete of any type (batten/surface conduit or concealed) for light point, fan point, bell point socket point or power point complete with all fitting such as switches, sockets pendants, ceiling rose, round block etc complete and making good disturbed surfaces of wall, floor or ceiling with plaster of tiles or roof treatment etc and finishing the surfaces with distemper/white washing/colour washing to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for point wiring including fixing on concealed on surface of wall and steel structure/ truss etc rigid non-metallic PVC conduit pipe medium grade, ISI marked heavy duty in size 25 mm dia, with 1.5 Sqmm insulated unsheathed, FRLSH multi stranded copper conductor cable, confirming to IS 694 single core 1100 volt grade with flush cast iron/ pressed steel/ PVC modular terminal boxes (as per site) of suitable size for fixing of modular accessories such as switches, sockets and fan regulators etc including modular cover plate in required modules and colour and including FRLSH insulated & unsheathed 1100 volts grade cable with multi stranded copper conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm as continous earth wire complete including making good the disturbed surfaces for the followiing:- Note;- Quoted rate shall be included cost of modular terminal box , cutting, chasing, plastering , colouring etc to surface of wall / beam/ roof etc matching with existed surface including required modular blank plate to be cover/ fill up the extra blank gap/ space of modular cover plate/ mounting board in required module /make / model etc. (2) The cost of modular cover plate with frame as S&F shall be paid against respective items of this schedule.

S&F in repair recess mounted LED fitting 36 watt LED luminiare size 2' x 2' with CRCA housing in white powder finish, high translucent PMMA diffuser provides soft glare free light suitable for surface/recess mounted openable cleanroom luminiare with IP 65 complete with all accessories, pre-wired connecting up complete with 3 core flexible cable white of size 23/0.0076 all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness), size quality or description from wooden frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads .complete all as specified and directed
S&F 4.8 mm thick sheet glass, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square exc 0.50 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in benching to drain, holdfast, padding to roof/chhajja, coping, bed block etc. and the like edge slightly rounded or chamfered including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.
Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) not exc 15 cm thick in ground floor and paving below or above ground level complete all as specified and directed.
S&F in repair 1mm wall thickness stainless steel 202 Gde drapery rod 25mm dia with and including stainless steel brackets, decorative finials at both ends complete all as spfd and directed.(Note : Sample/ design to be approved by Engineer-in-charge)
M&L for 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.50 mm graded stone agg) for sub base to receive the tiles complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling floor or hearth, wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Glazed ceramic tiles coloured size of size 450 x 300 x 6 to 7mm , as on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white cement to match on and including 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 for receiving tiles complete all as specified and directed
M&L for coloured joint free non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors, skirting etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including screed bed or bedding layers of mortar 15 mm thick for laying floor finishes in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed
