Cement Concrete Lining in Machhagaon Main Canal from RD 1.920 km to 5.605 km

Clearing shrub jungles uprooting stumps and small bushes and trees below 1mt girth on pre-measurement removing the debris within 50 m lead etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work excavation of foundation in all kinds of soil by manual means including dressing and leveling the bed and depositing the soil within initial lead of 50 mtr and initial lift of 1.5 mtr and breaking the clods 5 cm to 7 cm size and laying in layer not exceeding .3 m depth complete as per specification approved by the department. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation, loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical means in all kinds of soil including stoney earth, gravel and moorum etc. inter spread with boulders up to ½ Cum. size with all lifts and delifts including trimming the slopes and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials away from work site as per the specification and as direction by the Engineer-in-charge within an initial lead of 1 Km. from the place of excavation complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation in ordinary soil except sand and sandy soil from approved borrow area by mechanical means after stripping the surface to required depth, loading into & transportation by mechanical means, carriage of earth by mechanical means within a lead of 2 Km, unloading the earth on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface (Trimming the surface, removing the debris, benching the old embankment & leveling to proper profile), spreading the earth in layers not exceeding 22.50 Cm. in height, rough dressing & breaking the clods to maximum 5 to 7 Cm. in size and dressing the embankment to proper level and profile, including all taxes, royalty, cess etc. complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement to be taken on finished complete embankment section and arranging borrow area is the contractors responsibility)

Watering earthwork up to OMC condition and compaction by vibrating roller and dozer in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm to 95% dry density including hire and running charges of all the machineries etc. complete as per specification & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement to be taken on the finished compacted section of the fill under OMC)

Fine dressing and turfing with dub grass with two extra lead over the initial lead of 50m lead & two extra lift over the initial lift of 1.5m including ramming, watering till the green growth of grass with all labour charges etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filing canal bed, foundation and plinth with sand good quality including watering and ramming with labour, T&P etc complete the required level including cost, carriage, royalty & cess of all materials etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Quarrying, collecting, supplying and stacking of good quality of moorum and sand in regular heap size of 1.50m X 1.50m X 0.50m to be measured as one cum and admixing moorum and sand in (60:40) proportion and spreading in canal bed for CNS layers not exceeding 100mm thick with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable including hire charges of T&P materials required for the work, watering and consolidation with P.R.R. to the required density in OMC, hire and running charges of machineries of PRR etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collecting, Supplying and spreading good quality sand of approved specification on compacted surfaces in canal for filter blanket and other horizontal filter zone to proper thickness including surface dressing satisfying the filter criteria with all lead, lift & delifts including cost, carriage, labour, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Quarrying, collecting, supplying 20mm downgraded hard granite chips from approved quarry of uniform colour and texture free from elongated and flaky pieces, disintegrated materials and other deleterious substances and spreading hard granite chips in horizontal filter drains of canal to proper thickness including surface dressing satisfying the filter criteria including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess taxes of all materials as applicable with all leads, lift & delifts and all other incidental charges with quality control test etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
