Outsourcing of services round the clock consisting of three shifts (Timing : 0800-1600, 1600-2400 and 2400-0800 Hrs) including Sundays and holidays by One Skilled Operator for the operation of Diesel driven generating set and connected items such as control panel, MCCB, Changeover, main switches,starters, filling of fuel including daily cleaning of complete installation etc complete all as specified and as directed for 160 KVA -01 No & 100 KVA - 01 No Standby diesel engine driven generating sets at INHS Jeevanti.

All as per item No 01 here in before, but for 160 KVA standby diesel engine driven generating sets-01 No at COMCEN.

All as per item No 01 here in before, but for 82.5 KVA standby diesel engine driven generating sets-02 Nos & 63 KVA standby diesel engine driven generating set - 01 No at 2WDET substation

All as per item No 01 here in before, but for 63 KVA standby diesel engine driven generating sets-01 No in two shifts (Timing:16.00 to 24.00 hrs & 24.00-08.00 hrs ) at INS Gomantak.

All as per item No 01 here in before, but for 400 KVA DG set at HQ GNA for two shifts (Timing : 0600-1400, 1400-2200 Hrs) except Sundays and Closed Holidays.

Notes for Item Nos 1 & 5 :- (a) 01 Operator to be employed in each shift of 08 Hrs each. (b) The operator shall be experience holder of two years in particular field with minimum qualification of ITI. (c) Contractor has to provide Log sheet and shall be maintained properly (d) The contactor/operator is responsible for safe custody of the installation including all accessories/consumable and penalty as PS Clause is applicable in case of any loss/damage to govt property. (e) The contractor has to provide proper uniform and safety shoes to the operator without any extra cost to the department. (f) Daily maintenance all as per manufacturer’s instructions (g) Consumption of DHPP will be regulated by the Department. (h) General cleanliness/removing of vegetation of respective installation surrounding area to be done regularly and the cost of the same deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (j) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s manning and operation derived from pro rata of Sch ‘A’/BOQ quoted rates or Rs 1000/-per shift per Operator whichever is higher

(k) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator and design of uniform shall be got approved. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 100/- per day per operator shall be levied and recovered from the contractor. (l) The contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maint is carried out during contract period in a binded book/register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly. (m) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes ,cess, levies etc as applicable including GST (n) The prevailing rate,wage,contribution etc shall be as applicable as on the bid submission end date.

(o) In view of COVID-19 alerts various restrictive instructions issued concerned authorities from time to time. Hence additional precautions essential for the work shall be taken by the contractor by way of provisioning of masks, hand sanitizers, gloves etc to workmen and all local instructions issued by the Concerned Authorities and Station Authorities shall be complied with all relevant safety precautions covered under Model Rules for the protection of health and sanitary arrangement for workmen (Annexure ‘C’) of IAFW-2249) shall be strictly followed. Nothing extra is admissible on this account (p) The contractor shall also deploy additional man power as relief against weekly off,leave,holidays etc all as per existing Labour Act and shall substitute the operator accordingly for which no extra payment admissible. The unit rate quoted against items in Schedule ‘A’/BOQ shall be inclusive of this provision also. (q) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operator through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts and Credit to their bank account. The wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more.

(r) It is responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (s) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department.
