Bored cast-in situ M-35 grade RCC piles of 1200 MM diameter in all kind of soil (Including hard & Boulders) with Hydraulic Rig excluding cost of steel reinforcement, complete as per drawing and conforming to section 1100 and 1700 of MoRT&H Specification of latest edition and clause 709 of IRC 78-2000/ latest edition including cost of bentonite slurry, initial vertical and lateral load test , routine load test and removal of excavated earth with all lifts and lead up to 1000 Mtr. complete. (i) 1200 dia piles (A) The scope of work in the above items include: (1) The cost of all initial layout of piles and setting out, initial excavation, if any (2 a) The cost of boring through all types of soils/existing road/ pavement, removal of all obstruction like boulders, old foundation concrete or rock to be paid in relevant item above by chiseling or any other method as approved by the Engineer-in-charge. If a bore is abandoned for any reason no payment shall be made for such incomplete boring and shifting of the equipments (2 b) The cost of filling up of the empty bore, if required (3) The cost of preparation, circulation and handling of bentonite slurry. (4) The cost of disposal of all spoil, bentonite waste to keep the work area neat. (5) The cost of providing temporary liner and its withdrawal, if required below adjoining ground level (irrespective of the R.L of the adjoining ground level for vertical piles) (6) The cost of providing and mixing all ingredients of cement concrete (except reinforcement steel) including admixtures, with batching plant, transporation, placement of concrete by tremie pipe for the required lengths of pile including providing cover blocks, stiffeners, handling bars etc. for safe handling of reinforcement cage. (7) The cost of breaking of pile head not earlier than 3 days after concreting and to remove spoil concrete to bring the pile head to the socketing level including cleaning and arranging the extended reinforcement bars as per drawings. (8) The cost of working for all leads, lifts, pumping / bailing out of water, labour, material and equipment etc. (9) The cost of mobilizing to site, installation at different locations transferring / dismantling, shifting, reinstalling and removal from site of the piling rigs and / or other equipments and all accessories including working plateforms. (10) The cost of identification, protection and maintenance of existing services, if any, which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge are likely to be affected by piling operation incl. temporary shifting of such services to facilitate piling job shall also have to be done, if so required by the Engineer-in-charge and the cost for the same as assessed by the engineer-in-charge shall be reimbursable. (11) The cost of barricading and all traffic safety requirements as specified in the tender document. (12) The cost of all incidentals, labour, material, equipment and works required to execute the job. The item also includes any other incidental expenditure for completing the job as per the direction of the engineer-in-charge. (13) The item includes the cost of testing of all the materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP. (B) Mode of measurement: (14) Initial vertical load testing, horizontal load testing, routine load testing required as per IS : 2911 part (iv) and as per MoRT&H specification (1) Length of pile shall be measured from cut off level to the tip of the pile correct to a cm in case where the pile is terminated. The rock level shall be determined as per criteria mentioned elsewhere in the tender document for payment of boring through rock (2) Reinforcement steel shall be measured & paid separately

Providing steel liner 6 mm thick for steining of piles including fabricating and setting out as per detailed drawing and technical specification clause 1900 of MoRT&H(MoRT&H no. 12.22)

Earth work in excavation for piers and return wall etc. in all type of soils, weathered rock, existing footing , removal of boulders, concrete, ballast, stone etc including protecting the excavated sides, if required till concerting bailing out water to keep the area clean and dry during placement of reinforcement and concrete till the concrete set finally. The item includes the cost of disposal of all spoils , dismantled materials, surplus earth for all leads and lifts as per clause No. 304 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision 2013 and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and therefore, payment shall be made based on approved plan dimension for PCC below pile cap. The cost of backfilling around the pile cap and restoration of road, if required shall be included (MoRT&H) 304.

Providing and laying of Plain cement concrete M15 (aggregate 20mm nominal size ) leveling course below the pile cap etc. The rate shall include the cost of all labor , material etc, complete job including bailing out water to keep the area dry as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge , Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimension for PCC as per clause No. 1100,1500 and 1700 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision 2013.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete M15 ((aggregate 20mm nominal size ) leveling course below the return wall etc. The rate shall included the cost of all labour, material etc complete job including bailing out water to keep the area dry as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge , Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimension for PCC as per clause No. 1100,1500 , 1700 and 2100 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision 2013.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-35 for construction of pier pile caps, abutment pile caps etc. using Ordinary Portland Cement of Grade 43, appropriate sand , aggregate , water, admixture in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawing supplied by the Engineer-in –charge , including all type of shuttering , staging , centering , scaffolding, necessary tools, plants , machinery and all related operation as required to completed the work with all leads , lifts and depth true to line, level and position all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel ). As per MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) / latest edition as per clause No. 1100, 1500,1700,& 2100 of MORT&H specification. (5) The cost of maintenance and protection of existing services, if any which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge are likely to be affected by any related activities including temporary shifting of such services to facilitate construction of pile cap work shall also have to be done, if so required by the Engineer-in-charge, and the cost for the same as assessed by the Engineer-in-charge shall be reimbursable. (6) The cost of installation of any fixture into the pile cap (cost of fixture to be paid separately) (7) The cost of barricading and all safety requirements as specified elsewhere in the tender document. (8) The cost of testing of all the materials, involved in the execution of items as per QAP. (2) The item includes the cost of painting alongwith one coat of anticorrosive primer. (3) The item includes the cost of testing of all materials involved in the execution of the items as per QAP. (4) The items includes all other incidental expenditure for completing the jobs as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Mode of measurement Measurement shall be made in running meter complete as per dimension shown in approved drawing.

Providing and fixing 65MM dia G.I. Pipe hand rail rail over the crash barrier kerb consisting of MS base plate, embedded fasterner and nuts. MS vertical plates and pipes etc, as shown in the drawings and as per specifications and painting the same with 3 or more coats of paints. All the railling components as mentioned above to be hot dip galvanised with a zinc coating of at least 175 gm/sqm. Item to include all incidental works required to complete the work as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (N.S)

Providing and laying of a strip seal expansion joint catering to maximum horizontal movement upto 70mm, complete as per approved drawings and standard specifications to be installed by the manufacturer / supplier or their authorized representative ensuring compliance to the manufacturer's instructions for installation.) as per clause 2607 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 14.22) (A) The scope of work in the item includes: (1) Cost of all materials, labours, equipment and other incidental charges for execution of this item. Supervision during installation by the manufacturer is also included. (2) Installation & fixing of expansion joints as per manufacturers specifications and design / drawing approved by the engineer-in-charge including chipping of concrete, cleaning of concrete and reinforcement bars, leveling, necessary shuttering, pre-setting, welding etc. (3) Item to included necessary provision and filling of recess for the expansion joints at no extra cost. (4) The item includes the cost of testing of all the materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP and testing of completed and installed joints as per the acceptance criteria of MoRT&H. (B) Mode of measurement: (1) The expansion joints shall be measured in running meters. The length payable is the actual length provided at site including vertical parts of kerbs / crash barriers, footpath etc.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 5.2)

Providing and laying 40 mm thick compacted bituminous concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate roller to achive the desired compaction as per clause no. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th revision)2013 for road and bridge work (5th revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade CRMB-55 as binder content by weigth of total mix , complete in all respect including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery and bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechnical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made , extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work . Note Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95% , anti stripping agent will be used by contractor. The Anti- striping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017 . The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra payment shall be payable. The type and brand of anti- stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of result be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note :- Where there is only BC on existing black top , crack shall be sealled as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3 , which may consist of (i) fog Seal/ ort (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause. No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MORT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for crack sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Providing and laying 25 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen VG-40 meeting the requirement given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface , including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 Sqm and at approximate spacing on 10 CM center to center in both directions , pressed into surface when the temperature of surface not less than 100 OC, protruding 1 mm to 4m over mastic surface all complete as per clause 516 of MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013

Drainage spouts complete as per drawing and techincal specification as per clause 2705 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 14.9) (A) The scope of work in the item includes: (1) The providing, placing, joining and fixing the drainage pipes with all necessary pittings, tools and tackles etc., complete as per the approved drawing. (2) The cost of works to make taping all points to be leak proof, tested etc. including all couplers, materials, manpower and tool and tackle etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (B) Mode of Measurement: (1) The measurement shall be made in number for the drainage port supplied and installed at site. The payment for the pipes will be made in running meters. The quantity will be restriced to the length as shown in the approved drawings.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflect rising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes as per clause 803 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no.8.13)

As per clause No.1500, 1600,1700,& 2704of MORT&H specification-2013

Painting two coats after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new plastered concrete surfaces as per clause of 803 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 8.8)

Approaches Construction of embankment , sub grade and shoulder, of new road with soil of Minimum of CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading , grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The Finished road surfaced will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of road shall be less than 0.90 M above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100 m will be worked as means of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 M and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 21436.31 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 21436.31 cum) will be paid . Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further, it shall be incidental to work and nothing extra paid. Further, it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Providing and laying 150 mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - III of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1. Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required on this account is more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from drum type hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. Providing and laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen VG-40 meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 100 OC, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013

Part-C (Retaining wall) Earth work in excavation for retaining wall etc. in all type of soils, weathered rock, existing footings, removal of boulders, concrete, ballast, stone etc including protecting the excavated sides, if required, till concreting, bailing out water to keep the area clean and dry during placement of reinforcement and concrete till the concrete sets finally. The item includes the cost of disposal of all spoils, dismantled materials, surplus earth for all leads and lifts as per clause No. 304 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013 and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and thereafter. Part- D (Guid Bundh) Excavation for roadway in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 metres (average lead 50 metres), including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections as per clause 301 of MoRT&H specifications (MoRT&H no. 3.3)

Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders of new road with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of road shall be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 29403.09 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 29403.09 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 29403.09 cum, then only 29403.09cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT.Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.
