SOIL INVESTIGATION PROVISION OF SWIMMING POOL FOR AGNIVEERS AT TRAINING BATALION 2 BOMBAY ENGINEER GROUP AND CENTRE KHADKI

JOB WORK : SOIL INVESTIGATION : PROVISION OF SWIMMING POOL FOR AGNIVEERS AT TRAINING BATALION-2, BOMBAY ENGINEER GROUP AND CENTRE KHADKI 1. Mobilisation of mechinical drilling equipment/rig and shifting of entire arrangement from one bore to another hole location and setting of boring drilling rig as reqd/directed by Engr-in-Charge. 2. Boring 150 mm dia bores holes to 15 mtr depth through any type of strata of Soil /rock complete all as specified and as directed 3. Collection of undisturbed soil sample at 0.50 mtr intervals or at any change of strata and transporting to the lab 4. SBC recommendation for all bore holes at depth size 1.5 m ,2.0m, 2.5 m etc is required for footing 1.5 x 1.5m,1.5 x 2.5 m,2.0 x 2.5m,2.0 x 3.0 m, 2.0 x 3.5m, 2.5 x 3.5m 5. Conducting necessary test as per relevant as codes/NBC 2005/SP 36 on all collected samples which includes the determination of following documents:- (a) Atterberg's Limits. (b) Natural Moisture Content. (c) Wet and Dry Density. (d) Soil Particle Size Distribution using Sieve/ Hydrometer Analysis (e) Triaxial Shear Test (C & C) determination. (f) Shrinkage Limit. (g) Consolidation test. (h) Specific gravity test for sand rock (j) Crushing Strength of Rock Sample (k) Permeability Test (l) Chemical Analysis of Ground water Sample (minimum 2 samples) (m) Free Swell Index. (n) Chemical Analysis (o) Bearing capacity calculations (p) Swelling index & Sewiling pressure in respect of Black Cotton Soil and its depths layers be provided. (q) Photographic recors of geo-exploration as well as testing shall also from part of test report (r) Recommendation as regard possibility of liquefaction of soil incase of saturated or partially saturated loose / uncompacted sandy soil. (s) Depth of ground water table in peak monsoon and peak summer (as per record available with State official) (t) Recommendation for filling under floors & type of foundation. (u) BH location duly marked on site plan shall form part of job order. 6. Maintaining photographic record (min three photographs per borehole). 7. Submission of original report of soil investigation in pentuplicate along with photographic record duly annotated. (03 Jobs Each)

8. Preparation of 'K' value report with the help of site/lab data as per prevailing IS code / IRC standards (03 Jobs Each)

9. Trial Pit size 1.2m x 1.2m x 3.0m depth and submitting physical properties (02 Jobs Each). Note :-1. Maintain photographic record (minimum three photographs per hole duly annotated. 2. Submission of report of soil investigation in pentuplicate along with photographic record duly annotated. 3. Samples of the above requirement/sketch drawing may be seen from the office of AGE B/R (P) (C) Khadki, Pune-03. 4. GST %/ amount to be shown separately.
