Excavation in trenches n. exc 1.5 mtr wide and n. exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n. exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Taking up Cast Iron Water mains (including all fittings), with Spigot and socketed ends and lead joints including burning out joints including recovering leads for the size of 100 mm dia bore complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and testing of centrifugally cast (Spun) ductile iron pressure pipe Class K-9 of size DN 100mm bore with socket and spigot ends with and including push-on-rubber jointing, pipes duly applied with zinc coating with finishing layer of bitumen on external surfaces and cement mortar lining with bituminous seal coat on internal surfaces complete confirming to IS-8329 (2000), complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in Charge at site. Note : 1. The material shall be accepted and allowed to incorporate in the work only after production of Original Purchase Voucher from authorised dealer and Test Certificate from the manufacturer. 2. The DI fittings shall be measured and paid separately under respective item. 3. All type of earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items OF SCHEDULE. 4. Any other connected works required at site during the execution like PCC works etc. the rates for the same also deemed to be included the quoted rates.

M&L for ductile iron fittings, as per IS :9523 (2000), Class K-12 for DI pipe of size 80mm to 400mm bore such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), Tee pieces (single branch, "Y" junction, double branch), cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), collars, caps and plugs etc as per site requirement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of existing road / hard standing upto 15 cm depth for laying of pipe lines and making good the disturbed surfaces by providing PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, after laying of pipes lines and returning filling of soil, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work below road / hard standing shall be measured and paid under relevant items.

S&F Air release valve 40 mm dia double action with two air outlets made of cast Iron, ISI marked including jointing materials such as nuts, bolts, washers, rubber gasket and fixing up in cast iron pipe of any size complete all as specified and directed at site. Note : The material shall be accepted and allowed to incorporate in the work only after production of Original Purchase Voucher & Test Certificate from Original Manufacturer or his authorised dealer only.

Cutting existing CI pipes, laid in position for taking out branch connection by inserting new Tee, branches, collar etc. complete all as specified and directed for upto 400 mm dia bore pipes complete all as specified and directed at site.

M&L for run lead joint for spigot & socketed pipes and fittings suitable for 400mm bore pipe, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in Charge at site.

M&L for cast iron sluice valve of 100 mm bore size, rising spindle type, valve having both ends flanged, confirming to IS – 14846 of 2000 duly ISI marked, PN-1.6 complete with hand wheel, stainless steel spindle and gun metal nut with and including , all jointing material i.e. new rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts, washers etc of required size with and including taking down old unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in Charge at site. Note : The material shall be accepted and allowed to incorporate in the work only after production of Original Purchase Voucher & Test Certificate from Original Manufacturer or his authorised dealer only.

Dismantling of existing valve pit and M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 900mm x 900mm x 900 mm (internal dimension)including 15 mm thick plastering in CM (1:4) inter and external for sluice valves including angle iron frame with MS sheet cover and locking arrangement including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed . (Refer relevent Circulated CEJZ TD drawings)
