REWIRING AND REPLACEMENT OF ELECTRICAL FITTINGS OF MD / OTM ACCN AT AFS KALAIKUNDA UNDER GE(AF) KALAIKUNDA.

Taking down carefully copper/ aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete including fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendent, regulators, sockets, light fittings etc, removing materials from site and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for concealed point wiring for one light/fan point with 1.50 sqmm (nominal area), FRLSH PVC insulated, unsheathed, single core multi-stranded copper conductor cable, 1100 volts grade,ISI marked controlled by one one-way switch, drawn through and including concealed medium grade PVC conduit not less than 20 mm dia, ISI marked, with all accessories(PVC Casing and caping of size 25 mm , ISI marked with complete accessories to be used wherever wiring to be run on ceilings and concrete surfaces) including one run of 1.5 sqmm FRLSH muti stranded copper conductor (Green colour cable) as earth continuity wire connected to common earth dolly, including sunk sheet steel terminal box GI/MS/ pressed steel terminal box to be conclead in wall, duly painted with two coates of anti corrosive black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer in and out sides and two coated of aluminium paint on internal surface , including laminated hylum sheet cover, ISI marked of Make" Hylem" for mounting of fittings like switches, sockets, fan regulators etc. fixed with galvanised screw and cup washer including making good as per existing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The chases in the wall shall be cut with elect cutter and rates of the same will deemed to be included in quoated rates (ii) The disturbed surfaces of wall shall be made good with cement plaster 1:4 including matching the surfaces with as per existing finishes and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge) (III)Wiring to be done as per approved colour code in IE rule. (iv) Sub circuit from MCB DB to Switch board should be of 3 x 2.5 Sqmm Cable and the length of cable in this case should be of max 3 x 15 Mtr from the distribution board. Beyond this length it shall not be considered as point wiring and the whole length to be measured in sub main wiring. (v) The cable length from switch board to fittings/ fixture should be of 3 x 1.5 Sqmm cable and the length of cable in the case should be of max 3 x 20 mtr from the switch board. Beyond this length it should not be considered as point wiring and the whole length to be measured as sub main wiring..

All as per item No. 2 here-in-before but for 3 pin socket outlet, 5 Amp on the same board with other switches, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Point wiring with PVC insulated unsheathed electric cable 1100 volts grade, single core,FRLS cable having multistranded copper conductor of 1.5 Sqmm nominal cross sectional area, ISI marked, drawn in existing concealed/ surface conduit with 1.5 Sqmm green PVC insulated unsheathed multistranded copper conductor FRLS cable, ISI marked as continuous earth conductor connected to earth dolly by providing suitable lugs including new laminated hylum sheet cover of min 2.8 mm thick , ISI marked of Make" Hylem" of suitable sizes to be fixed/ mounting on existing MS/ GI sunkun boxes for mounting of fittings like switches, sockets, fan regulators etc fixed with galvanised screw and cup washer. complete all as specified and directed for the following. Note : (i) Wiring to be done as per arroved colour code. (ii) Sub circuit from MCB DB to Switch board should be of 3 x 2.5 Sqmm Cable and the length of cable in this case should be of max 3 x 15 Mtr from the distribution board. (e) All as per item 8 herein before but wiring with 4.0 Sq mm FRLSH mutistranded copper conductor cable for Industrial metal clad socket with 4.0 Sqmm, FRLSH insulated multi-stranded single core earth wire for earth continuity, connected to common earth dolly complete all as specified and directed. .

S&F in repair LED bulkhead light of 12 W with pressure die-cast housing along with polycarbonate diffuser and LED's IP-65 protction of watt,PF>0.95 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. Note for item no.40 to 45 :All LED lights have replacement warranty of 3 years from the date of completion of the contract accordingly condition 46 of GCC (IAFW-2249) shall be amended to extent mention above. Contractor has to submitt warranty certificate from manufacturer . Payment of light fitting will be released after receiving of 3 year replacement warranty certificate.

M&L for repairing distribution box(DB's) of any rating, any size by proper dressing of wirings,providing lugs, screw, nuts , cleaning of the burned surfaces etc, tightening of all the connections of incoming and outgoings from the MCB's/ DB, connecting Earthing connection to each earth dolly including fixing of DB cover by providing screws etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F PVC casing caping of min 25 mm dia exclusive of boxes (junction/ terminals) but inclusive of all tees, bends, elobows, reducers, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as coupler, lock nuts, saddles , pipe hook etc to be fixed on surface for dressing of wiring in neat presentable condition by proper relaying of existing PVC cables including removing of cables/ wires and relaying after fixing of new casing capping including taking down old u/s all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fixing in repair PVC insulated multistranded Copper conductor, sheathed round cable ISI marked 2.5 sqmm x 3 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Make : Finolex/ Havells

Taking down ceilling fans/Exhaust fan, sealing cable end, including painting of fan with systhetic enamel paint by spraying including filling cavities with filler one coat after cleaning all dust etc. and repositioning & hanging ceiling fan and connecting up including provision of cable from ceiling rose or connector to fan all as directed by engineer in charge.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or of steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR parts-I and including excavation & earth work in any type of soil , disposal of soil , providing alternate layers of charcoal and common salt, refilling of pit with agriculture soil, construction of PCC earth chamber in mix 1:3:6 type c-1 with 40 mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-J cover reinforced with 8mm dia MS bars both ways with lift hook made out of 8 mm dia bar, watering arrangement with funnel and wiremesh and watering pipe of 20mm dia GI light grade and 15mm dia light grade pipe for earth lead protection and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed.
