Extra for every additional 1 metre lift or part thereof over the initial lift (2 lifts) complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Earth work excavation and depositing on banks with initial lead of 10 m and initial lift of 2m in hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, murram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.(Open Excavation)

Supply, spreading and sectioning with gravel to the embankment of canal portion of not more than 15 cm thick to prepare a uniform subgrade for lining including cost of gravel and conveyance including loading, unloading and stacking for premeasurements etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Providing and placing Plain Cement concrete M 10 grade (Design Mix) using crusher broken hard coarse aggregates and the maximum nominal size of coarse aggregate of 40mm confirming to IS specified grading (to achieve the specified characteristic strength of 15 N/mm2 at 28 days) and mixing the ingredients in approved mixer including dewatering by bailing/pumping wherever necessary laying the concrete in layers and in bays with all leads and lifts, vibrating, compacting and finishing the surface watering, curing for various depth and height below and above ground level so as to attain the profile and strength specified in the drawings as per the direction of the departmental officers and complying with standard specification.

Supplying and fabrication of Steel required for all RCC works involved in the schedule including cost of steel, cost of fabrication, labour charges for cleaning the rods straightening, cutting, bending, tying grills including overlapping to the required length wherever necessary and placing the reinforcement in position as specified in the drawings including cost of binding wire, provision of spacer bars, cover blocks and all other incidental charges etc. complete as per standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including necessary supports and strutting upto 3.29m height for vertical/sloped surface as detailed below with all cross bracings using mild steel sheets 10 gauge thick of size 90cm x 60cm stiffened with welded mild steel angle of size (25x25x3)mm laid over silver oak joists of size 10x6.5cm spaced about 90cm c/c andsupported by casurina props of 10 cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75 cm c/c and removing the centering and shuttering after specified period without damaging the concrete laid, complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.Scaffolding and centering charges for the structural components is inluding the cost and converyance of all material to the site including all labour charges and incidental charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Providing and laying in position ,Standardised Reinforced Cement Concrete mix M25 grade(Design Mix) in accordance with IS 456-2000,using 20 mm and downgraded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 350 Kg/ m3 and maximum water cement ratio of 0.50 ,including admixture(Plasticizer / Super Plasticizer) in recommended proportions as per IS 9103 to accelerate ,retard setting of concrete ,improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 cu.m) 7730 kg of 20 mm machine crushed stone jelly and with above (3.3 cu.m )5156 Kg of 10-12 mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m) 7670 kg of sand ,but excluding cost of reinforcement and fabrication charges ,centering and shuttering and also including laying ,vibrating with mechanical vibrators ,finishing,curing etc Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmetal officers.The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS standards (No Seperate payment will be made by the department for the excess usage of materials)

Preparation of subgrade (as per technical specification) duly moistured and duly removing the surface irregularities including dewatering and laying plain cement concrete lining 75mm thick of M15 grade (design mix) concrete on canal bed, sides , haunches, and berms using hard coarse aggregate with nominal maximum size of 20mm downgraded to IS specified grading to have well graded aggregate weigh batching the ingredients along with Air Entraining Agent (200ml per bag of cement) and mixing these in mixer machine (concrete mix to yield 28 days characteristic compressive strength of 15 N/mm2) placement of concrete over the sub grade on canal bed, sides , haunches, and berms manually including consolidation of concrete, providing transverse contraction joint grooves as per technical specifications and water curing of the lining etc. The subgrade shall be well prepared, dressed and rolled to true level and specified section to form a firm compacted base for the lining as directed by the engineer in-charge of the work.

Preparation of subgrade and Lining the side slopes of canal with Precast cement concrete slab of size 60x45x5cm in M15 grade design mix concrete using 20mm and downgrade size hard machine broken stones aggregate and downgraded to IS specified grading including manufacturing of concrete slabs which shall cover cleaning and oiling moulds laying the concrete in moulds and vibrating with table vibrators, finishing the top surface smooth removing the moulds carefully finishing the slab neatly and keeping the slabs covered with hessain jute cloth and keeping the same wetted by sprinkling water to keep the slab fully moistured. Placing the slabs in the curing tanks after 24hours from the time of casting, removing the same from curing tank after seven days. Stacking the slabs within a lead of hundred metre and curing the slabs as directed by the engineer incharges of the work and conveying the above slabs from the casting yard to work site including loading and unloading and stacking them as directed with all lead and lifts, trimming side slopes and berm of the canal in all soils except rock including levelling to proper slopes and gradients watering consolidating and making the surface suitable to receive the cement mortar bedding of 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:5 (one part of cemnt and five part of Msand) directly on the subgrade duly dressed and compacted allowing 24 hours of water curing of this base layer and then laying PCC slabs with 6mm thick cement mortar 1:3 and fixing the precast cement concrete slabs in position insides slopes of the canal with templates and pointing with cement mortar 1:2 (one part cement and two part of Msand) with water proof compound by 2% weight of cement used to full thickness of slab with same mortar, curing etc, complete including labour charges for panel clearing sealing the joint with bituminous pad and sealing compound after applying necessary primer etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the engineer in-charge of the work

Supplying and fixing in position of seepage pipes having working pressure of 6 Kg/cm2 of 63mm dia PVC pipe of required lengths for retaining wall including cost and coveyance of all materials to the work site etc.and as complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing Filter media arrangements to the pressure relief holes in the rear side of retaining walll for a size of 45cmx45cmx60cm and filling with 20mm metal of 30cm thick in Ist layer and 40mm metal of 30cm thick in IInd Layer, the rate is including cost of metals etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Engineer incharge of works.

Providing and fixing pre-cast cylindrical porous plug of 75mm dia and 300mm length in porous concrete CC1:0:4, one in each in the bed @30m C/C, in filter having size 45x45x45cm sand and 30x30x30cm metal including excavation seperators filters material, Complying with technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer incharge of the work.

Providing and filling with sealant material in expansion joints @ 15 m c/c and finishing the surface to match with lining face with contractors own material as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer incharge of the work.

Random Rubble masonry in cement mortar 1:4 (One cement and four Msand) using Old stones including simultaneous pointing the exposed surface with the same mortar and all incidental charges such as bailing out water curing, finishing complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Engineer in-charge of the work
