TERM CONTRACT FOR ARTIFICER WORKS FOR KLP AND OTHER THAN KLP AREAS UNDER GE (AWC) MHOW

To perform under terms contract such services and execute such works on the terms and conditions contained or referred to in the "MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2009 Part-1 (Specification) and MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 Part-II (Rates)" together with all amendments as applicable up to date and upon the conditions contained in tender documents, as may be demanded, and as are enumerated in the aforesaid Standard Schedule of rates during the period of one year from the date of acceptance, at the rates contained in the aforesaid MES Standard Shchedule of rates OR at such rates, may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 of "General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW-2249)" 1989 print with errata/ amendments as applicable up to date. Note:- (i) Tenderer shall insert percentage above/ below SSR rates at the 3rd row and 'F' column of this BOQ Excel sheet. (ii) Tenderer shall refer and select the option Excess (+) or less (-) available at the 3 rd row and 'F' column of this BOQ Excel sheet to quote the percentage above/below MES Standard Shchedule of rates. (iii) Amount inserted by the MES under rate col and the total amount reflected in this page is a rough guidence and for reference only. This amount will be total amount of this contract after addition/ substraction of quoted percentage on SSR rates. The acceptance of contractor's offer shall be made for quoted percentage above/ below on MES standard Schedule of Rates. The work orders for various works/services shall be placed for amount worked out/priced on the rates contained in MES Standard Schedule of Rates Part-II duly adjusted by percentage above/ below quoted by contractor. (iv) Contractor's special attention is invited to condition "4 (A) WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS)" and condition "56 TERMINATION OF CONTRACT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS)" of "General Condition of Contracts (IAFW-2249)". The provision of these conditions of General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW 2249)" will be strictly followed. (v) It is an express condition of this contract that the whole amount of total works/services to be ordered under this contract can vary irrespective of the amount worked out/mentioned in this BOQ sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works/services at the rates contained in MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 Part-II duly adjusted by quoted percentage during contract period. No claim what so ever on this account shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantum of work ordered under this contract. (vi) The area marked in site plan of GE (AWC) will be applicable in this contract. The work orders will be placed on contractor for work services within this area only. The decision of GE in this regard shall be final, conclusive and binding.
