Material and labour for cutting out cracks 'V' section on existing roofs or terrace cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 by weight complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down existing bitumen felt roof treatment including cement mortar bedding and cleaning the surface and removal outside the MoD land complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes: (i) Taking down earthing strips including insulators from roof for treatment and refixing of same with existing specification in the same position after laid APP membrance including replacement of broken insulators, PVC rawl plus and screws etc., are deemed to be inclusive of rate quoted by the contractor. (ii) Unit rate quoted shall also include for removal of PVC water storage tank wherever existing carefully and refixing at the same or other position after completion of roof repair work. (iii) APP work shall be carried out on RCC bent/curved roof at 12-15m height (non accessible roof).

Demolition in cement concrete ground floor and paving not exc 15 cms thickness (below above ground floor) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (Using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates) as in padding to roof to maintain the required slope same like as in chajjas, balconies, canopies, desk slabs and in shelves and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Gujrat sand grading zone-II either river sand shall be used and confirming to IS-650:1991 (Second Rivision). It should have the fineness modulus 2.9 to 3.2 and silt contents should not be more than 4%.

Material and labour for ready mix plaster 10mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 on roof top surface including WPC by weight of 3% of total cement content complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: WPC will be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for water proofing treatment of roof consisting as under complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge:- (a) Applying evenly a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384:1986 @ 0.30 litre/sqm including preparation of roof surfaces. (b) A layer of 4mm thick APP polymeric membrane of weight not less than 4.50 kg/sqm, reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 160gm/sqm), duly sealed at over laps and joints with end laps of the 10cm and side over laps of 7.5cm by flame (by torch application) all as per manufacturer’s instructionscomplete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (c) The laying shall got be done through authorized applicator of manufacturer.

Supply only water proofing liquid compound as URP complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for applying two coats bitumen water proofing aluminium heat resistance paint on the roof as per manufacture instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for new or old external wall surface by wire brushing/ grinding in order to remove dust, dirt, loose particles, laitance. Thereafter wash the surface with mechanical water nozzal with clean water and allow to dry. Fill visible cracks/ joints by crack seal compound and epoxy base joint filler including resin and hardener in proportion as per maufactures instruction and allow to dry for 24 hours. Apply one coat of water based primer (with mechanically airless paint sprayer machine) and allow to dry for 6 hours appx. Thereafter apply 02 coats of WB high build anti caronating coating cum waterproofing (with mechanically airless paint sprayer machine) and match with brush at the interval of 08 hours between the coat and allow to dry to match the existing shade in camouflage pattern including or plain paint necessary scaffolding necessary security for the workers for any height, covering etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: External water proofing treatment on wall at any height of the building including acrylic paint shall be applied by mechnaically airless paint sprayer machine only.

Taking down cement plaster on brick walls or stone walls etc including racking out joint, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., including removing debries directed for a distance max upto 500m complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for ready mix plaster 15mm thick on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces cement plaster in CM 1:4, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for ready mix plaster 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of walls in cement mortar 1:6 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on ceiling finished even and smooth (without using extra cement) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for epoxy base joint filler paint on external surfaces of walls to fill the cracks with and including resin and hardener in proportion as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new or previously untreated plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of acrylic antifungal paint exterior grade paint plain or camouflage pattern on one coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparing new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of chalk whitening on plastered surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surface of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness incl nainital or similar pattern roof covering complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for prepainted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.5mm thick of an colour having tenstile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for prepainted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.5mm thick of an colour having tenstile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for steel work in tubular trusses, pillars and purlins including special shaped washer etc., complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade St.-240 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for mild steel work hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, holdfast, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc., wind ties for roof including securing bolts complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Quoted rate shall be include upto 15m height of bldg/ hangers for scaffolding arrangement.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel surface of any description not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for PVC false ceiling consisting of 600x600x5mm thick prelaminated self design PVC sheet of density 600 kg/cum solid PVC panel insert in a frame work made using aluminium T section of size (25mm x 25 mm, 19 gauge or 1mm thick) in square pattern of grid size of 600x600mm. The aluminium frame work is supported from the ceiling with the help of GI wire/6 mm MS rods of required size as to maintain for proper level etc., The aluminium frame work is supported on side wall with the use of aluminium 25x25mm angles including dismantling of existing false ceiling complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair 8 to 10mm thick PVC false ceiling consisting of 600x600mm prelaminated self design insert existing frame work without disturbing the other false ceiling and making good existing frame complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for false ceiling with armstrong XL 24mm grid system of grid size 600x600mm with 12mm thick ceiling board of RH-90. including frame work made using aluminium T section of size (25mm x 25 mm, 19 gauge or 1mm thick) in square pattern of grid size of 600x600mm. The aluminium frame work is supported from the ceiling with the help of GI wire/6 mm dia GI (upto 1200mm length) adjusting and maintain for proper level to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of GI flat 40x3mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasterners 12.5mm dia 40mm long complete etc. The aluminium frame work is supported on side wall with the use of aluminium 25x25mm angles including dismantling of existing false ceilling complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair 8 to 10mm thick armstorng ceiling board of RH -90 false ceiling consisting of 600x600mm insert existing frame work without disturbing the other false ceiling and making good existing frame complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for anodised aluminium snap grid of size 600x600mm frame work for false ceiling complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for hangers 6mm dia GI (upto 1200mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of GI flat 40x3mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia. 40mm long complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demoliation of RCC as in slab, beam, chajja (other than ground floor) beams staircases, and similar complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete nominal mix type B-1, 1:2:4 as in beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span, columns, pillars, chajja, piers, posts and struts and similar works complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Additives monobond paid and measured separately.

Material and labour for cleaning all loose laitance on the concrete substrate and applying one coat of epoxy bonding agent on exposed concrete surface to ensure bond between old concrete and new concrete by brush application complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for PVC pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to wall (160mm bore) including flat iron clamp for proper fixing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for PVC pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to wall (110mm bore) including flat iron clamp for proper fixing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs PVC bends 160mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs PVC bends 110mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for cast iron 150mm dia rainwater socketed pipes with cement joints, without ears complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for cast iron 100mm dia rainwater socketed pipes with cement joints, without ears complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for 150mm bore bends or elbows, square, or obtuse complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for 100mm bore bends or elbows, square, or obtuse complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes: The basic rate quoted ser item No 1 to 42 are deemed to include for the following and nothing extra will be paid for these works: (i) Supplying, erecting and use of scaffolding upto required height (max 25 to 30m) with necessary H-frames, pipes, couplers, buckles, bracing, top platform with support railing at top etc. at all levels of building including carriage of the materials to the location, erecting, fixing the scaffolding and dismembering the same after working and taking away the scaffolding materials etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (ii) Supply, fixing and use of dust proof netting with all required accessories/ fixing arrangement so as to cover existing installations and arrest the materials generated during repair work in adjoining areas and to prevent damage or nuisance to the existing structure; including proper provision of netting system before start of work, removal after completion of work, carrying out regular cleaning etc., as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (iii) Supporting the structural components temporarily during repair and streghthening works using heavy duty flat-headed steel pipes vertically in plumb, braced horizontally and diagonallay at centre with each other using suitable heavy steel tubes, and resting on wooden blocks to support the structure provisionally during repairs and maintaining them in position for required duration complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (iv) The contractor has submit guarantee for period of 10 Years (ten years) after completion of work of roof treatment and wall treatment from authorised manufactuer.
