Repairs to Road Potholes berms and Road side furniture at AF STN under AGE B R I GE Brichgunj Sri Vijaya Puram

Amount

M & L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces of area not exceeding 400 Sq.m and exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm depth including include raking over and grading the broken up surfaces to the proper camber etc. and removing the debris to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting using Power Roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick [compacted thickness] Water Bound Macadam with coarse aggregate of Grading 2 [63 to 40mm size] spread, rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 3 above but except stone aggregate.

M & L for Screening Road Metal, Chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring [Materials from both sides of screen measured] complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing Top Surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen of Grade VG – 10 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for repair to Pot Holes not exceeding 30 mm depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m, putting in SDAC of VG-30 Grade as specified for required thickness as per ground condition and again well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated including supply of SDAC, binder and chipping complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing existing Black Top Surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen and laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor.

M & L for Premixed Bituminous Macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber [consolidate thickness 75mm or less] using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 4% by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Cost of testing charges, materials, and transportation etc. for job mix formula shall be inclusive in the unit rate and no extra payment shall be admissible in this regard. Mix shall be obtained from Hot Mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver only.

M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc. of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate interfillers, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Shalimark of STP Ltd or Kataline/Reliance as approved by GE.

S & F in repairs Poly Carbonate Convex Mirror outdoor type 1000mm dia made out of Fibre along with bracket, Pole mounted and fixed to 80mm bore Medium Grade MS Pipe of required length complete and embedded in PCC of size 450 X 450 X 600mm, including necessary earthwork excavation in any type of soil as in Post Holes and removal of soil up to 50 metre, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of Zinc Chrome primer to MS Pipe & Framed work complete all as specified. Make: Model No. FCMO-100 of M/s. Frontier Polymers Pvt. Ltd. or equivalent model of 3M / Dark Eye as approved by GE.

S & F in repairs Solar Road Studs [Bi-Directional] made of Aluminium Die cast matt finish of size 125 X 125 X 25mm [Approximately], working on High Efficiency Mono-Crystalline Solar Panel 2.4 V / 0.3 Watt, One Ni-Mh or NI-cd Rechargeable Battery [1.2V / 1600 MA] with Six Super Bright LEDs with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd [Millicandela], with a minimum Operating time of 3-4 consecutive days with full charge, viewing distance / visibility not less than 800m with 2 Hz Flash Rate, Self operated from Dusk to Dawn, anti twist ribs on the bottom anchor / shank with high intensity reflective grade polymer sticker and conforming to IS - 12063, of Colour yellow or red or blue or green or white as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Road Stud, Two way reflective of size 100mm X 110mm X 20 mm [Approximately], ABS body with retro reflective panel of Amber, Red or White colour complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Road Side Delineator [Reflector] as per approved model and conforming to IRC - 67, made of Powder Coated MS Pipe, 50mm bore, 900mm height, Heavy Grade, fitted with 2 Nos. of 100mm dia highly reflective reflectors made of PMMA Material with ABS Round Body, anti rust & anti theft steel net, fixed with Bolts, Nuts and Epoxy Glue, which emit excellent reflection during night time, with 3 reflective strips of colour Amber, Red or White, as approved by GE and duly embedded in PCC 1:2:4, Type B1 [using 20mm graded stone aggregate] of size 300 X 300 X 450mm for fixing MS Post and including necessary earthwork excavation in any type of soil as in Post Holes and removal of soil up to 50 metre complete all as specified and as directed.
