M-29 Agriculture Equipments (Seed Bins and Atta Boxes)

STORAGE BINS: Storage bins of following capacity made of G.P. Sheet 0.63mm thick (24 gauge) conforming to IS: 5607-1977 (Third revision) with air tight cover:- 1. G.P Sheet of 24 SWG thickness, 2500 mm length 1000 mm and 900 mm breadth respectively, it having light coating of zinc, normal 120 gms/sqm on both surfaces produced by hot dip process as per IS: 277-1977 Class-VIII, will be used for the manufacture of all the six sizes of seed storage bins. 2. The sizes, volumes and designs of different types of storage bins are standardized as under:- Small Size seed Storage Bins:- Effective diameter 0.59 meters Effective height 0.975 meters Effective volume 0.27 cubic meters Effective capacity 2.1 quintal.

-do- Small Size seed Storage Bins:- Effective diameter 0.59 meters Effective height 0.875 meters Effective volume 0.24 cubic meters Effective capacity 1.9 quintal. a) Design:- Cylindrical shape, top and bottom, single pieces clean double joints will be made, top projections duly pressed and bended. b) 18cms, inlet dia will be provided with air tight lid having one No. of galvanized metal chest, chest handle folding type riveted on the top of it. c) 14 cms outlet in dia projected at an inclination of 13 degree having length of 15 cms from longer side will be fitted with double clean joint to main storage bin at the side 5 cms above from the bottom and provided with an airtight lead having galvanized metal chest hand 3” size folding type riveted on the top of it. d) At the middle, around the bin one M.S. flat ring of 20mmx3mm size will be tight fitted and secure fixed with 4 Nos. iron rivets. e) In the middle of bin two Nos. galvanized metal chest handles 4 “ size folding type will be fitted opposite to each other. f) One more M.S. Flat ring of 20mmx3mm size will be fitted at the bottom of the storage bin and duly riveted with six number of iron rivets. g) Underneath the bottom of the seed storage bins, star shape vertical reinforcement of 20mmx3mm M.S. Flat will be provided and secured tight by means of rivets/welding.

-do- Medium size seed Storage Bins:- Effective diameter 0.79 meters Effective height 0.875 meters Effective volume 0.43 cubic meters Effective capacity 3.3 quintal. Design:- It remains the same as given in the small storage bin from (a) to (g) except the change of dimension in the M.S. Flat rings and bottom reinforcement (20x3mm).

Atta Boxes: Atta boxes of the following capacities of G.P. Sheets of 0.63mm thick (24gauge) in square shape. -do- of size 25kg capacity.

-do- of size 75kg capacity

-do- of size 1 Qtl. capacity
