Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering- All work up to plinth level : 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimiming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting to embankment location with all lifts and leads upto 1000m within airport premises as per satisfaction and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Note- Earth Excavated in this item shall be used either for construction of Embankment or filling in depression in Basic strip/Runway strip or anywhere inside Airport premises as per the direction of the E-I-C and shall be paid as per measurements of Item No. 10 and 18. If any quantity of Earth shall be disposed elsewhere inside Airport premises, then it shall be levelled, dressed and compacted as per the direction of the E-I-C.

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. All works upto plinth level Concrete of M25 grade with minimum cement content of 330 kg /cum

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-incharge. Hard rock (blasting prohibited)

Providing & fixing PVC pipe of 75mm dia metre and 250mm length, after making necessary opening in wall, for weep holes as per direction & satisfication of E.I.C.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Add for using extra cement in the items of design mix over and above the specified cement content therein.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : a) 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III): 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : a) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III): 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work

Filling Available excavated earth in Basic Strip / Runway Strip or anywhere inside airport premises in operational / non-operational area As per the direction of E-I-C including all leads / lifts & transportation etc. complete in embankment or depressions in accordance with requirements of lines , grades and in cross section in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth consolidating each deposit layer by watering and ramming and every third top most layer with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller/soil compactor etc complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer Incharge. Payment to be made for compacted qunantity only.
