REPAIR TO SEWAGE LINE, DRAIN, HARDSTANDING ETC AT AIR FORCE STATION HIGHGROUND UNDER AGE (I) HIGHGROUND CHANDIGARH

Material and labour for cleaning of underground sewage lines of 100 mm /150 MM/ 200 mm bore from solid/ liquid/ mud deposited in these lines manually by rodding with sewage drainage rods through connecting manholes and removing sludge to a distance not exc 500 m from outside periphery of defence land including cleaning sludge/ solid deposited from the ends as well as from intermediate manholes coming between these lines taking off & refixing of manholes,lovers complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Rates quoted against the items shall deemed to include for all T&P and safety measures of workers/ safaiwalas (b) The lines measured once can not measured again within 3 months. If blocks in the same lines re-occur within 3 months the contractor will clean again & nothing will be paid extra for this.

Removing blockage from water closet (Indian or European type) by removing solid/ liquid or mud deposited in the trap or CI pipe line by rodding manually and removing the sludge (duly covered in a hygienic manner) to a distance exceeding 150 meter but not exceedinmg 250 meter and making the WEC fully functional complete all as specified.

Removing blockage from from floor/ nahani trap of kitchen/ bath room and washbasinby removing solid/ liquid or mud deposited in the trap or CI pipe linie by rodding manually and removing the sludge (outsuide MOD Land duly covered in a hygenic manner ) to a distanc exceeding 150 meter but not exceedinmg 250 meter and making the WEC fully functional complete all as specified.

Cleaning of underground storm water road gully chamber by removing MS or PCC road gully cover or both by dismantling PCC copping removal of silt, vegitation grass roots etc complete ffom gully trap and from the mouth of in and outlet pipe for ensuring free flow of storm water and refixing the same or new PCC/MS cover or both as per original provision or as directed by Eng-in-Charge and fixing with PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 copping and cleaning the surrounding 1 mtr all around and removal of debries and silt etc to a distance100 to 250 mtr away the road side complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

Cleaning of underground sewage lines of 100 to300 mm bore by excavation and breaking (minimum two length) and removing the blockage, laying new pipes, re-jointing with old pipes including haunching the new pipes with PCC (1:3:6), type C-2, using 40 mm graded aggregate in all situations where cleaning is not possible otherwise complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Rates quoted by contractor shall deemed to be inclusive of necessary excavation, returning filling and disposal of excavated soil.

Dewatering, desilting and cleaning of Septic tank/manholes of any size and depth by dewatering by mechanically or by manually and taking out sludge, silt mud, brick bats etc and removing sludge to a distance not exceeding 500 metres from the outside including taking off hygenically as per norms of local governing body and placing the man hole cover n the same opening all as specified and directed. Note: - Dewatering/ De-silting shall be done by suction pump or by any mechanical means and disposed off by truck mounted trailors beyond MOD Land.

Dismantling of old barbed wire fencing of any description complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground, posts embedded in concrete, brick work, masonry etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in posts holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cubic metre, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and making good surface in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for PCC Type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm aggregate) as in copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs etc incl necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed

Material and Labour for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Surface channels and drains including necessary formwork & moulds complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fix Mild Steel angle iron or other flat or round sections cofirming to Fe-290 Gde E165 as required for posts or struts in fencing including cutting at top and bottom to shape as directed, including welding the cut portion at top, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. mild steel round bar 6 mm dia nibs, connecting struts to posts with 2 Nos. mild steel bolts 50 mm long 10 mm dia and washers, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix Galvanised in two strands, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line of wire to be measured

Cleaning of underground sewage lines of 100 mm /150 MM/ 200mm/300 mm mm bore from solid/ liquid/ mud deposited in these lines manually by susper suction machine truck mounted having suction capacity 100 to 400 CUM/Hrs, jetting pump with working presure at least 120 bar having facilities of high presure water thermoplastic fibre braided water jetting hoseand through conicle /round shape nozzier pipe, through connecting manholes and removing sludge to a distance not exceeding 500 metres from outside periphery of defence land including cleaning sludge/ solid deposited from the ends as well as from intermediate manholes coming between these lines taking off & refixing of manholes, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge. Note :- (i) Payment shall be made to the contractor as under :- (a) 70% after cleaning/ cleraring the line. (b) 20% after three months (from the date of cleaning) (c) 10% (after four months from the date cleaning of line) or payment in final bill as applicable. (ii) lines once cleared will be maintained through out the period of the contract. if there is any blockage during the period of the contract, the same will be cleared without any extra cost by the contracrtor. (iii) In case of any blockage is observed /found in any cleared line through super suction manchine during the time period of contract and it becomes necessary to clear the sewage line with manchine, the same shall be clearedthrough manchine by the contractor without any extra cost to the department . The line shall be cleared by the contractor within 48 hrs after intimation to the contractor .The rate quoted by the contractor against this item shall be deemed to be inclusive of clearance of lines twice or more time.

Material and Labour for Barbed razor type concertain coil fixed on existing angle post and barbed wire over security wall with coil of 8 to 10 turns per coil of minimum weight of coil 14.50 Kg ,hot dip galvanised and binding with and including MS annelled wire of 0.60 mm fixed in repair ,complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying Two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing MS Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for mild steel as in framed work of doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing similar work conforming to Fe-290 Grade E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down & refixing steel gate of any design or section & refixing the same to same opening after minor addition & alteration with and incl repair and providing heavy duty one bush hinges and two pintal hinges (box type heavy duty) with nut and bolt arragement and making necessasry hold fast arrangement in pillar and floor for each leaf complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick masonry work (in foul condition) built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, staging etc. and removal of rubbish outside MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labourfor brickwork (in foul condition) with using subclass 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), including taking down man hole cover and replacing the same on the same opening after the work is completed complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only and restraining, resecuring incl making good staples etc, (Galvanised two strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing) to any type of standard rails including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line of wire to be measured. Old wire retrieved under item 8.00 will be used under this item.

Material and labourfor brickwork with subclass 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces, etc, any description including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc and removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Raking out joints/ pointing to brick work in walls or to bricks on edge in floors, surface channels, roofs, etc in cement mortar including flush pointing to brick walls in Cement Mortar 1:4 (also incl removing rubbish off the premises and keeping the surface to pointed wet for 2 days prior to re-pointing), complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4), on brick/concrete surfaces of walls, finished fair andeven\ complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, as on concertain angles/fencing angles etc, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 26 above but except bricks

Material and labour for Preparation of newly plastered or unplastered, new decorated surfaces of wall by brooming down with steel rushing,scraping down smoke soot's moulds moss and efflorescent salts trading oil greasy sport etc and applying two coat of cement base paint over and including complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of old plastered or unplastered, old decorated surfaces of wall by brooming down with steel brushing,scraping down smoke soot's moulds moss and efflorescent salts trading oil greasy sport etc and applying one coat of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out silt, gravel boulders, vegetation grass from complete chocked and blocked and fully filled up Nallah/ Culvert with removing the silt rubbish to a distance exceeding 150 metre but not exceeding 500 metre complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for soft, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier hoes, etc n.exc 10 square metre on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes of dia 150 mm/200 mm (salt glazed ware, AC, or Reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Reinforced concrete pipes, 200 mm bore, class NP2 with one collar per length of pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Reinforced concrete pipes, 150 mm bore, class NP2 with one collar per length of pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches (soil), including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Conrete bed to drain pipe in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for 200 mm bore including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Mild steel TMT bars 8 to10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending etc., and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggrigate) as in floors/hardstanding, laid in bays , finished even and smooth and making impressions of expanded metal whilst concrete is green, including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

Materilal and Labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 as in sub base of floor, mass concrete work & in foundation concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggrigate) as in floors including mixing it with necessary water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water Proofing compound shall be paid separately.

Material and labour, coloured chequered cement concrete tiles 300mmx300mmx25mm thick, factory made, ISI marked (IS 13801-1993), with grey cement & pigment, laid with neat cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm over & including 20mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:6), pointed in white cement with matching colour pigment, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, factory made, precast concrete, machine pressed, interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS : 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-35 Grade, with grey cement and pigment (in top layer), coloured, laid over and including 25mm thick fine sand cushioning and joints filled with fine sand, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rate includes supply and spreading of sand.

Material and Labour for providing precast cement concrete factory made , with colour coating alternate different shades pattern Type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) in kerb stones, apex stones etc. (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throat- ing etc. and setting in mortar(1:4) complete with joints to match complete all as specified and directed.
