M&L for re-painting of below mentioned steel furniture as per the following steps:- (i) Denting of bent surfaces with the help of hammer in best workmanship manner. (ii) Removing old paint by scrubbing with sand paper of 150 No thoroughly. (iii) Applying one coat of metal primer of make Asian/ Nerolac/ Delux. (iv) Applying metal putty to even surface, wait period 2-3 hours to be given for putty to set and dry completely. Scrub off the excess putty with 150 No sand paper and spraying little amount of water simultaneously. (v) Wipe the surface with dry cloth and applying one coat of enamel paint of light shade as approved by GE.

CHARPOY GI PIPE NEWAR

Removing of old newar and dismantling of long rails of charpoy GI pipe of medium grade, 32mm bore, cutting of damaged/ worn out threaded portion, and re-threading of ends properly and re-assembling of charpoy with existing elbows and check nut complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of old unserviceable long rails having both threaded broken end and supply & fixing new long rail of GI tubing 32mm bore, mediam grade, duly threaded both ends complete all as specified and directed as shown on drawing and as approved by GE. Make of Pipe:- SURYA/ TATA/ JINDAL.

Removing of old unserviceable short rails having both threaded broken ends, supply & fixing new short rails 2 Nos out of broken long rail obtained from srl Item No 7.20 above, threading the both ends of short rail and fixing in position complete all as specified and directed as shown on drawing.

Removing of old unserviceable leg and supply & fixing of 2 Nos of legs made out of short rail obtanied from srl item No.7.30 above, threading & fixing in position complete all as specified and directed as shown on drawing.

Removing of old unserviceable GI elbow, three way and supply & fixing of GI elbow, three way, size 32mm bore with new ISI mark GI elbow (weight not less than 420 gms each and re-assembling of GI Charpoy after replacement of broken elbow complete all as specified and directed.

Removing old unserviceable check nut and supply & fixing of new check nut of 32mm bore and 10mm wall thick, ISI marked and fixing in the same position complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing of old/new polished wood based furniture articles as per the following steps:- Step 1: Sanding: The wood components shall be rubbed with sand paper No 120 along the grains to remove any dust/ wax/unwanted stains from the surface, the sanding will be repeated with sand paper between 180-220 grit in order to achieve the smooth surface and the wood will be wiped clean with soft clean cloth complete all as specified and directed. Step 2: Staining: Any cracks or holes shall be filled with wood filler of good quality. After the wood filler has dried completly sanding with a stain of approved shade will be then applied to the prepared surface with the help of a soft malmal cloth or brush along the grain'. two to three coats of staining will be done letting the stain dry completly between each coats and sanding every time very fine grit sand paper ( 220-320). Note:- Excess stain should be wiped off before drying and getting absorbed in wood. Step 3: Polishing: Wood will be finished with a good quality french polish (mixture of shellac grains and methylated spirit in ratio 1:10) two to three coats shall be applied to prepared wood surface letting each coat to dry and absorbed fine sanding can be done if required. Polish shall be applied with a soft cloth/ brush along the grains and not against it to achieve high gloss complete all as specified and directed.
