Cleaning / Clearing and Maintenance of sewage lines, manholes including CI stacks, gully traps, floor traps under ground lines any depth by removing any type of blockage from sewage lines upto and including 200 mm dia including manholes by rodding from and flushing with water with pressure using water hose pipes connected with water trolleys after cleaning. Sludge / Sludge water is to be disposed off as directed to a distance exceeding 2 Km outside the peripherry of the defence land. Sewage line including manholes cleared / cleaned under this item is to be maintained and kept fully functional by rermoving any type of blockage for 07 months from the date of commencement of first work order, the cost of this operation / provision shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. Also contractor will supply two sweepers daily from the date of commencement of work till completion of the work in the office of the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost of which shall be deemed to be included in the said item.

Note: - (i) Two No's of separate sweepers for PCDA area shall be engaged for cleaning of sewage / drain along with tool and plant required on daily basis for a period of seven months for attending the daily sewage related complaints. The complaints will be collected daily by contractor or his accreditated from unit JCO / NCO for OTM Accn and user occupant of Married Accn after completion the complaints. These complaint slips will also be got signed from Engineer-in-Charge after completion of each complaint. No complaint shall be kept pending unattended for a period of more than 24 hours. Any damage to man hole, gully trap, cover slab, CI access doors of CI Pipes of any dia, PVC pipe /fitting, 'P' traps, floor trap during the process of cleaning / clearing shall be made good by the contractor by replacing same by new items without any extra cost to Govt. (ii) The sewage line is required to be cleaned by the contractor shall deem to include this provision and no extra claim on this account shall be entertained by the department.

Cleaning / Clearing and Maintenance of rain water drains any depth by removing any type of waste from drain lines. The waste is to be disposed off as directed to a distance exceeding 2 Kms outside the peripherry of the defence land. Drain lines cleared / cleaned under this item is to be maintained and kept fully functional by rermoving any type of blockage for 07 months from the date of commencement of first work order, the cost of this operation / provision shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. Also contractor will supply one sweepers daily from the date of commencement of work till completion of the work in the office of the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost of which shall be deemed to be included in the said item.

Note: - (i) Receiving of complaint lodged by the occupants for building work and internal water supply for PCDA Office area and residential building at JE B/R office complant cell complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note: - (ii) Cost of M&L for providing new items including replacement / taking down old existing item shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Note: - (iii) Contractor or his representative will present in JE B/R complaint cell at 8:30 am along with tradesmen (one Plumber, one Carpenter and Supervisor) in uniform and name plate as directed by Engr-in-Charge to attend the complaint with in 24 hrs if contractor late / fail to attend the complaint within 24 hrs a recovery @ 200 per complaint per 24 hr (or part there of) till completion of complaint. (iv) Samples of materials as approved will be kept in GE's sample room. (v) All fittings and fixtures mentioned above will be fixed to the satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and GE. (vi) All plumbing works shall be laid or fixed as to be completely air tight or water tight as specified and Contractor will furnish its certificates towards air / water tight before completion of work under the Contract. (vii) Warranty certificate to the Engineer-in-Charge where ever applicable shall be submitted by the Contractor at the time of fittings.
