Dismantling/removing of unserviceable spare parts of overhead travelling portions and moving portions for EOT/HOT cranes of capacity upto 10 Ton at sight and replacement of the defective parts and re-assembling connected accessories including its electric connections complete all as directed by Engr- in- charge. Note:- Supply only of defective part mentioned here-in-after shall be measured and paid separately under respective item. All other minor parts required for smooth functioning of crane shall be included in quoted rates.

M&L for rewiring of all electrical connections of crane control panel boards with new terminal connector,lugs and wire of suitable size for Main Hoist, Cross Travel & Long Travel after disconnecting, removing the burnt contactors, aux contactor, controller transformers, OLR, HRC fuses, MCBs, cables and other connecting accessories suitable for 5 Ton to 10 Ton capacity EOT/HOT Cranes, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: Contactors, auxiliary contactor,OLR, fuses, MCBs, cables shall be measured and paid for separately against each burnt spares as supply only rate in the respective item of BOQ.

Dismantling of motors upto 1.5KW capacity, from crane and carry to work shop, rewinding with existing gauge of super enameled copper winding wire of superior quality with proper insulation and bringing back and refixing on crane with proper alignment with gear boxes etc., including testing on completion, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No. 35 here-in-before but capacity of motor 1.5 KW to 3.7 KW.

Taking down and overhauling of chain pulley blocks of capacity 0.5 Ton to 3 Ton cross travel unit of EOT/HOT crane by applying suitable oils and grease wherever required and applying cadmium compound to wire ropes including supplying and replacing un-serviceable bolts and nuts etc compete all as specified.

M & L for alignment of EOT/HOT crane tracks on both sides including gas cutting ,welding and grinding for smooth movement of girder for long travel and cross travel upto 5 ton capacity crane.

All as per item No. 39 here-in-before but capacity of crane 5 to 10 Ton.

Carrying out load test on EOT cranes upto 5 Ton capacity under 110% of full load capacity of cranes on hoisting, long travel and cross travel for checking the performance including deflection test with necessary manpower, instruments, necessary internal transpartation upto requied crane complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (NOTE: 1. Arrangements of Load / deflection test for cranes shall be carried out by the contractor through licensed crans in presence of rep of the Accepting Officer & user rep and recording of test result & certificate shall be kept on record.

All as per item No. 41 here-in-before but capacity of crane 5 to 10 Ton.

Carrying out load test on HOT cranes upto 2 Ton capacity under 110% of full load capacity of cranes on hoisting, long travel and cross travel for checking the performance including deflection test with necessary manpower, instruments necessary internal transpartation upto requied crane complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (NOTE: 1. Arrangements of Load / deflection test for cranes shall be carried out by the contractor in presence of rep of the Accepting Officer & user rep and recording of test result & certificate shall be kept on record.

S&F in replacement of Hand chain of 2 ton HOT crane as per existing size, make and model.

S&F in replacement of chain pulley wheel of 2 ton HOT crane as per existing size, make and mode.

S&F in replacement of Load chain of 2 ton HOT crane as per existing size, make and mode.

S&F in replacement of Ratchet gear and ratchet pawl of 2 ton HOT crane as per existing size, make and mode.

M&L for preparing of old painted external surfaces by scrapping, cleaning using wire brush, sand paper etc. and painting the surfaces existing colour by applying a coat of primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint for EOT cranes of capacity upto 5 Ton complete including end carriages, double and single gantry, motors, gear boxes, bottom hook blocks, platform structure, gantry girders etc complete all as specified.

Comprensive and preventive maintenance including replacing all the unserviceable / worn out spares to keep the EOT/HOT cranes for trouble free functioning as specified in PS here-in-after. Job shall be carried out every three months period to check and made serviceable for the maintenance for each crane up to 10 Ton capacity installed at various locations all as directed by Engr -in- Charge and satisfactory test certificate shall be kept on record. In case Periodic checking are not carried out in these period the recovery will be effected from contractor @ Rs 300/ per day for delay period.

Attending emergency breakdown of EOT/HOT crane of any kind of Mechanical/Electrical fault with in 24 hrs of complaint reported by professional Engineer. Cost of minor items such as nut bolt, washer grease etc is including in the quoted rates.

Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
