Cold Milling of Bituminous Pavement surface upto the required depth by mechanical means using milling machine, without disturbing the under lying layers, to proper line and level, cleaning the surface properly after milling and removing the loose materials, stacking the milled materials for re-use, necessary guarding, barricading & lighting, including hire charges of machinery, cost of fuel and labour and other incidental charges all complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits land owned/arranged by the department with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD.(Mode of measurement: pre works and post works)

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits land owned/arranged by the agency at his own cost with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD.(Mode of measurement: pre works and post works) Carriage up to total lead of 2.0 km. (Royalty charge on earth @ Rs. 29.00 /m³ and cesses charges @ 5.30 /m³ will be deducted from the bill amount if the contractor not able to produce necessary documents in support of payment made towards the royalties).

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Tentative materials required per m³ of compacted volume: 26.5 mm aggregates @ 0.3960 m³/m³, 13.2 mm aggregates @ 0.2640 m³/m³, 5.6 mm aggregates @ 0.3564 m³/m³ & Stone dust @ 0.3036 m³/m³.

Supplying & providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For WBM / WMM Surface: Using Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (S.S.-I grade bulk) @ 0.85 Kg./m²

Supplying & providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). On Bituminous Surface Using Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (R.S.-I grade bulk) @ 0.250 Kg./m²

Supplying & providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). On Granular surfaces treated with primer Using Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (R.S.-I grade bulk) @ 0.275 Kg./m²

Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with Hot Mix Plant using crushed aggregate of specified grading, filler (Cement/Hydrated lime/Rock dust) premixed with bituminous binder of approved grade @ 4.0% (min) for Grading-1 and 4.5% (min) for Grading-2 by weight of total mix as per table 500-10 and mix design done as per table 500-11 and Job Mix Formula as per clause 505.3.3 of MORT&H (5th Revision), including screening, cleaning of chips, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature, as specified in Table 500-2 with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepaired surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled and vibratory or tandem rollers or with a pneumatic tyre roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56mpa, to achieve the desired density as per clause 505.3.5, all including cost and carriage of bitumen, crushed aggregates, filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control complete as per Clause 505 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Excluding cost of applying tack coat using cationic bitumen emulsion. For Grading 2 (50mm compacted thickness) (26.5 mm nominal size, 50-75 mm thick.) Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH. Tentative stone materials required per m³ of compacted volume: 26.5 mm size chips @ 0.2197 m³/m³, 22.4mm size chips @ 0.2197 m³/m³, 11.2mm size chips @ 0.3662 m³/m³, 5.6mm size chips @ 0.2197 m³/m³, stone dust with grit @ 0.4394m³/m³, Hydrated Lime @ 44.00 Kg/m³& Bulk bitumen (VG-40 bulk) @ 111.00 Kg./m³
