PART - I - GARDEN WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM & CONSTRUCTION WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM
UPVC PIPE LINE: 'Supplying and laying below the ground or floor, the following diameter ASTM nonthreaded UPVC sovent welded pipes as per ASTM D-1785 and fittings as per ASTM D-2466 and ASTM D-2467 (white or offwhite colour) of specified class, consisting the following items of work:- i) Supplying & fixing ASTM nontreaded UPVC sovent welded pipes as per ASTM D-1785 and fittings as per ASTM D-2466 and ASTM D-2467. ii) Laying and fixing the pipe and specials below the ground or floor to correct line, level and plumb for water supply line. iii) Testing the pipe line to a hydraulic pressure as per manufacturers cataglouge for leak proof joint or as per relavant code. iv) Making leak proof threaded / welded joints. including cutting the pipe, cleaning, marking, heating, welding, cooling etc. and the cost of jointing materials. v) Cutting or making hole or chases in RCC or brick work structure such as wall, column, beam, slab, chajja, dado etc. for passing the pipe line and reinstating all the damage to its original condition. vii) Providing and fixing UPVC weldable / threaded fittings such as Union, Nipples, Bendes, Elbows, Tees, Reducers, End caps, Couplers, Adaptors, Saddles, Plugs, Tank connectors, Expansion loops, Bypass bends, etc. NOTE: The rate shall also include for UPVC pipe line, specials & specials required for making connections with the existing/new HDPE/GI / PP-R / UPVC / HDPE pipe line laid by other agency. G.I. PIPE LINE: 'Providing, laying, jointing, fixing, testing and painting, MS galvanised pipes of following dia. confirming toIS1239-1979, Zenith/ Jindal or equivalent approved make including fittings like elbows, tees, unions, couplings, reducers, enlargers, bends etc. all other fittings required for completion confirming to IS 1239 & also asper the code of practice of water supply in buildings of IS-2065 including cutting the pipes to the required length, scaffolding, making holes on walls, roof & floors, chasing in walls, rood slabs & making good thesame to the original conditions aligning thepipes as required, including the cost of all jointing materisl like hemp yarn, white or red lead, Nail clamps, wooden gutties, screws, cement, sand etc. complete testingthe pipes with clean & potable water as per standard specifications including removing of existing pipes & transporting the same to the DCSEM or PH unit Stores all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply installation testing and commissioning of Gun metal NON-Return valves(NRV) as per specifications and approved make. The valves to be fixed in existing GI/upvc pipe lines including all types of fittings required as per site condition ad as per EIC instructions. Existing pipe line alinement should be reinstate as existing it is after fixing NRV.

Providing and Fixing UPVC (white or offwhite colour) Ball valve with stainless steel / Brass ball of Approved make suitable for pipe pressure class with material and labour, making water proof joints, including cost of jointing material and UPVC specials if required & testing the joints, etc complete as per directions of engineer-in-charge.Note: 1"valve will be provided to existing mechanical garden chambers including one reducer from 1"to 3/4" and 200mm peice of 3/4" upvc pipe.

Providing G.I. pipe nipples of 20 mm dia 100 mm long with UPVC brass adapters to be connected to existing 20/25mm dia. UPVC pipe etc complete as per directions of engineer-in-charge.
Cleaning of well: Cleaning of existing wells, in Anushaktinagar, including dewatering of complete depth, removal of silt, boulders, dirt, derbies etc. using either buckets or pumps and disinfecting the water using chlorine, bleaching powder, etc. including tools and tackles required like ladder etc. to complete the work as per specifications and directions of Engineer in charge.And also including hiring charges for petrol/ diesel operated dewatering/ disludging pump upto 5 HP for dewatering/ disludging of wells for removal of water / silt / clay etc. at Anushaktinagar , New Mandala , and Western sector area (The charges including fuel cost & operating cost) Note: - 1. Proper safety majors should be taken from the agency as instructed by EIC and safety guide lines given by MCGM. Like during work wearing of safety belts, helmates, and safety shoes, etc. 2. Two separate entry and exit ways are to be made by the contractor for to work at bottom of well. 3. All safety related arrangements should be inspect by safety officer before start the work. 4. Make proper arrangements for disposing of water from each well as directed by EIC. 5. Removal of silt from well bottom is must with using daily 4 labours compulsarily.

PART - II - CIVIL & OTHER ASSOCIATED WORKS
Upto 1.50m depth from GL
Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 using well burnt locally available bricks of approved quality including raking out joints above ground level simultaneous pointing below ground level, curing, scaffolding, demolishing existing brick work at all levels and disposal of debris out side of colony etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of brick masonry valve chambers of dimensions 450mmx450mm for depth of 600mm comprising of 230 mm thick brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4 over a bed of 150 mm thick cement concrete of grade 1:2:4 for foundation with 150 mm offset all round, including racking out joints & plastering in cement mortar 1:3, 20 mm thick both on internal and external surfaces, internal surfaces finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement, Fixing with Frame and cover of (FRP/GRP) all as per specifications and directions of the E.I.C. including dewatering the pit, if required till completion of the work all complete.
Providing and laying dry rubble stone hard coresoling of following consolidated thickness in subbase to floor and in plinth protection to requiredlevels and lines with first quality rubble, handset, well packed including providing and filling the interstices with smaller stone chips,of approved quality supplying & finishing / blinding thesurfaces with approved blinding quality murrum/ stone dust including watering,consolidation etc. all complete as per specification drawings & as directed by Engineerin Charge. Note:- The smaller stones for filling interstices and murrum/stone dust shall be supplied by the contractor.

Demolishing rubble masonry in cement mortar including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials within 50metres lead including re-doing the same with available stones in CM 1:6 etc. all complete as directed to the entire satisfaction of EIC
Demolishing brick masanory in cement mortar including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials & disposal of unserviceable materials etc.all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
supply and construction of Random rubble masonry using spotless black trap or approved locally available stone in cement mortar 1:6 including raking out joints, scaffolding simultaneous flush pointing using through bond stones at every 900 mm in horizontal & vertical courses of each layer, including AC pipe 50mm dia weep hole at 1.5m c/c in horizontal & in vertical, curing,scaffolding, demolishing existing masonry at all levels and disposal of debris out side of colony etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing Raised and cut pointing on stone with cement mortar 1:3 using river sand as per specification and as directed at site by the E.I.C.
Cement plastering 15mm thick using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix mortar in CM 1:4 of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied on internal/external surfaces and ceiling finished smooth with neat cement punning over brick walls or concrete surfaces at all floors and levels, including curing , removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris out side colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
a) 15 mm thick.
Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including compaction, finishing, curing, cost of form work, shuttering, centering, demolishing existing plain cement concrete work by chiseling at all levels and disposal of debris out side of colony etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supplying & erecting and fixing in position G.I. chain link fencing above G.L.to M.S. angle posts using G.I. chain link fence of 8g of mesh size 50x50mm including supplying and fixing of 6mm dia. M.S. rod with necessary nuts & bolts etc. complete and painting existing steel works & chain link with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of approved primer as per specifications, drawings as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Labour charges for removing , re-fixing , repairing ,shifting , etc . to existing old G.I. chain link fencing above G.L.to M.S. angle posts . Including supplying and fixing of 6mm dia. M.S. rod with necessary nuts & bolts etc. complete and painting existing steel works & chain link with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of approved primer as per specifications, drawings as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Structural steel work at all levels using Angles, channels, chequered plates, pipes etc. of suitable sizes including anchor fasteners wherever necessary including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding,erecting and fixing in position including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade & make over a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note :- 1. At the time of Repairing to existing old chain link fencing , doors, crempnet gates etc using all type of NEW strectural members, hinges , pipes , are also paid in this item . Small fabrication work also inclded in this item .as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Repainting of old painted steel surfaces with two coats FLAT oil paint of approved shade and make over one coat of approved cement primer, including thoroughly scrapping, removal of old paint if any, sand papering & preparing the surfaces, scaffolding including cleaning of floors, doors & windows etc. & disposing of debris outside colony etc. all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC. Note :- 1. Painting on existing old chain link , angles , flats , doors , windows , Crimpnetnet Gate , barbed wire, concertina , etc. as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Cutting of grass/ wild vegetation & bushes etc. inside and outside surrounding well with Phavada etc. so as to remove part of the roots & cleaning the surrounding of buildings and including shredding the grass with mechanical shredder to a maximum size of 25 mm & disposing off the same mechanically into the dumping pits/ areas located at out side Anushaktinagar or dumping ground at Anushaktinagar or a directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. NOTE:- 1) Cutting should be done upto natural ground level. 2) Contracator has to remove floating materials i.e. paper, plastic bags, wooden furnitures, thermacols, cloths, households wastes etc. immediately from areas where grass is cut. 3) The cut grass shall be removed immediately from the site. Under no circumstances, it shall be allowed to burn. The Contractor will be held responsible if the heap of the cut grass is burnt by any one at any time.
Providing, laying and fixing precast interlocking refecltive and textured grass paver blocks of following grade of M/S Super tiles or other approved equivalent of approved colour, shade, size, shape manufactured with cement concrete grade not less than M-35, over layer of 50 to 100 mm thick murum as levelling/cushioning layer over well compacted sub-base , finishing to line, level and slope, finally filling the joints with fine clean sand and cleaning the surface including preparing the surface by levelling,dressing, spreading additional murum brought from a lead of 500 mts ,rolling the subgrade with 8 to 10 ton roller, disposing off the surplus debris/soil if any at the designated place within the colony, etc complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
a) 80 mm thick grass paver block of M-35 Grade of approved design, pattern and colour
Providing and spreading manually red garden soil free from stones, pebbles etc.at site on grass paver blocks to fill the voids/ opening of grass paver blocks , wateing to settle the red soils, sweeping/brooming to clean the paver block surfaces, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge & as per specifications. (Quantity will be taken as per truck body measurement filled with red garden soil without deduction of any voids.
Providing and applying three coats of acrylic elastomeric water proof exterior coating of Raincoat of M/s. Dr.FIXIT or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face/form finished surfaces/rough cast plaster at all locations as required, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 6-8 hours for each successive coats (total DFT-120 micron) and ensure consumption of 0.46 ltr/Sqm for 3 coats over sand face surface, including preparation of surface, cleaning and filling the cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. complete generally as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: 1) The surface shall be cleaned with water jet with high pressure water pump spray of at least 100 kg/sq.m. and brushing/ rubbing with coir to remove all foreign materials etc. before painting work. 2) The entire treatment shall stand guarantee for water tightness from external treated surfaces and for bone dry conditions for a period of Five ( 5 ) years .The guarantee shall be given on the regular format of the Department under Conditions of Contract. 3) Lower consumption less than as mentioned will be recovered @ Rs. 450/ltr
a) Over sand faced plastered surfaces / RCC Jalli / RCC fins
White/ Colour washing for ceiling and walls of rooms in two coats on old white/ colour washed surface with lime of approved quality by adding blue, glue and colour in required quantity including scaffolding and scrapping the old painted surface wherever required, cleaning the surface with sand paper and fibre broom and filling the cracks, holes, with approved putty and making uneven surfaces even etc. complete as per specifications and including removing white washing splashing and dropping from floors doors windows etc. also including covering the furniture with tarpaulins or equivalent covering materials etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Providing, fabricating, erecting & fixing in position CRIMPNET GATE OF approx. size 2.00x2.25m with GI tubular frames, 50mmx8 g G.I. Crimp net welded on 38mm internal diameter GI pipes with angle iron frame, m.s. flat beading to hold crimp net, m.s. channel supports including pivot type hinges, locking arrangements, tower bolts, embedding channel posts in cement concrete 1:3:6 including cost of excavation, PCC, formwork and disposal of surplus soil, painting the gate and all steel work with two coats of approved paint over a coat of primer etc.complete ncluding Removing of the existing gate as per site conditions & requirement . and depositing the same at departmental stores,including transportion generally as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
