M & L for APP modified roof treatment over roof slab etc to be executed through approved authorised applicator of the membrane manufacturer with the following specifications, complete all as specified and directed:- (a) Applying oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.40 litre/ Sqm manufactured by the same manufacturer as that of APP with a density 0.87-0.89 Kg per litre at 25 degree centigrade on the prepared dry surface. (b) Laying APP modified water proofing membrane reinforced with non woven polyester fibre weight not less than 160 gm/ Sq mtr using butane torch by torch application with 10cm side lap and 15cm end lap. (c) Physical properties of membrane shall be as under:- (i) Membrane weight not less than 3.50 Kg/Sqm. (ii) Non woven polyester weight not less than 160gm /sqm. (iii) Softening point of membrane not less than 150 degree Celsius. (iv) Joint tensile strength-longitudinal not less than 650N/Sqcm and transverse not less than 450 N/Sqcm (v) Tear strength-longitudinal not less than 300 N & transverse not less than 250 N. (vi) Elongation : > 20% in both directions. (vii) Impermeability/water tightness at 2 Kgf/cm2. (viii) Water absorption - Not more than 1% on mass within 24 hours. (ix) Cold flexibility - Minimum (-) 20 degree celcius. (x) Dimensional stability % change = Maximum 1%. (d) Over the membrane provided a finishing with solar reflective bitumen aluminium paint @ 0.10 Kg/ Sqm as prescribed by manufacturer.

M&L for 12 mm thick polymer modified ready mix cement based plaster on the wall surfaces including finishing surfaces even and smooth, etc complete all as specified and diected. Note: The thickness of plaster specified above is the minimum thickness and the quoted rates shall also be deemed to include for provision of dubbing of the surfaces with ready mix plaster and nothing extra shall be payable on this account.
