Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 20mm depth in a single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Note: - The quantity of milled bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item as mention in BOQ item No. 32.

Dismantling Brick Work, Tile Masonry or Tile Lining and Tile Terracing, dry brick work {HSR 8.5 (i)}

Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth. Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 metres, and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 metre including breaking of clods. Excavated earth may be reused on berms and disposed off surplus earth with all lead and lift including dressing complete in territorial as per direction of Engineer-in-charge will be incidental to work and nothing will be paid. (NS)

Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed (HSR 24.1) Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Providing & laying 75/150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type 'B' compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications of road & bridges (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect. (N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 150mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Providing and laying first coat surface dressing, including rolling with road roller etc. complete including cost of bitumen VG-10 grade using aggregate 13mm nominal size 1.00 cum and bitumen VG-10, 0.10 MT per hundred square metre. Clause 509 of MoRT&H specification.(5th edition ) 2013 (NS).

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and laying 30 mm compacted thickness of Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100 - 120 TPH Batch Type Hot Mix Plant with bituminous binder VG-30@ 5.4% (minimum) and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher having sufficient screed width so that the BC in full width of the carriage way is laid in single opration without any longititutinal joint with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and with pneumatic tyred roller (PTR) of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification (Vth revision)-2013 Clause No. 507 complete in all respect. If bitumen required is more than 5.4% as per job mix including waste plastic material no extra payment will be made, Extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note: - Where there is only BC on existing black top, cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Supply collection and carriage if First class brick 22.86cm x11.11cmx6.86cm from approved kiln to site of work shall be made from good brick earth conforming to 3.5 of Haryana PWD specification 1990 edition in stacks of 50 bricks length, 2 bricks width and 10 bricks height parallel to the center line of the road Bricks shall be free from saline deposits and shall be sand molded. They shall be thoroughly brunt without vitrified and shall have uniform deep red, cherry or copper colour. They shall be regular and uniform in shape and size with sharp and squares arise and parallel faces. They must be homogeneous in texture and emit a clear ringing sound on being struck. They shall be free flaws, cracks , chops, stones, nodules or lime or kankar and other blemishes complete as per Haryana PWD specification No. 3.5.1990 First Edition.(NS)

Laying brick on end edging length-wise 22.86 cm deep and 6.83 cm wide including excavation of earth and refilling the excavated soil and compacting along brick edging complete in all respect with other than brick soiling. {HSR 24.6 (b)}

Providing and fixing RCC village Boards 1.85x0.90x0.075m size of cement concrete 1:1½:3 with minimum 16 kg. reinforcement finished with 6mm thick cement morter plaster 1:4 including loading, un-loading, carriage to site of work, fixing in cement concrete 1:3:6 pedestral of size 60 cm x 145 cm x 70 cm with minimum 55 cm embedment as approved by Engineer – in- charge excluding painting and lettering.

Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:1½:3 studs of standard design, fixed in position, i/c finishing with exterior paint & primer coat & one 100mm wide retro reflective prismatic band consisting of 3mm ACP having high intensity micro prismatic sheeting confirming to IRC: 67:2012 on it duly fixed with 5 numbers 2” long screws with roller plug complete in all respect as per drawing in Section-9.

Providing & fixing retro reflective hazard marker confirming to IRC79: 1981 of size 900 x 300 mm with back support of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm and post of 50 x 50 x 5 mm, 1500 mm high embedded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 m M20 grade concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro-prismatic retro reflective sheet confirming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminium composite. Material sheet as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides. (of reputed make such as Array Dennison/3M)

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M)

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. Note:- No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI Pipe of size 2.45 m x 1.15 m with 900 mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5 mm thick steel plate of 50 mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60 x 60 x 75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 Kilometre stone of standard design, fixed in position, including finishing and painting Ordinary Kilometre stone [HSR 10.129 (ii)+ 16.75 b (ii)]

Reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 boundary pillars of standard design, fixed in position, including finishing and painting. [HSR 10.131 + 16.74 (b)].

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres (HSR 6.6)

Cement Concrete 1:6:12 with brick ballast 40mm nominal size in foundation and plinth (HSR 10.30)

Cement Concrete 1:4:8 with stone aggregate 40mm nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.39)

Cement pointing 1:2 deep variety on brick and tile work. (HSR 15.60)

Making and filling expansion joints, with bituminous filler (bitumen 40 percent, asbestos 5 percent and sand 55 percent), 12 mm wide (HSR 24.34)

Steel reinforcement TMT bars FE-500 EQR / FE-500 D grade or more for RCC work, where no included in the complete rate of RCC including straightening, bending, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights / depths / storey’s / basements etc. Note: Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. (HSR 18.22)

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked , antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage , loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note: - Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- Bricks Bats @ 400/-Per Cum

Good Bricks @ 4.50/Each

Bituminous mix material @ Rs. 1523.60/- P.Cum.

Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note: - i). In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. ii). In case of any difference in the unit of any Non-schedule items depicted in this DNIT and the conventional unit of that N.S. item as per practice in this department, the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
