Replacement old 1500 KVA Transformer of the substation with Dry type Transformer at Coimbatore international Airport

SITC of Cast Resin Dry Type 1600 KVA , 11/ 0.433 KV, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, Dyn 11 vector group, copper wound, class F insulation associated with winding temperature indicator/controller actuated by means of resistance temperature detector embedded in LV windings, indoor type Transformer with % impedance as per ECBC norms, tapping for on-load operation on HV side in steps of.+5% to -7.5% at the step of 2.5% with RTCC panel including control wiring, having cable end boxes on HV side suitable for 3x 185 sqmm XLPE cable of 11 KV grade and 2500 amps. C&S make TPN AL sandwich bus trunking arrangement on LV side with neutral brought out separately including termination of already laid copper conductor multicore control cable from transformer to HT breaker for safety tripping, connection of earthing strips, suitably mounted on M.S. Channel i/c supplying and grouting of suitable M.S. Channel with all accessories and confirming to IS 11171:1985 & as per specification attached complete in all respects as required at site.

Carrying out necessary modifications works on C&S make TPN AL 2500 Amps, sandwich bus trunking arrangement for termination of the existing sandwich bus trunking on LV side of new transformer including supply of all required accessories,additional copper strips of size 50x5 mm, removal of existing shutter of room, making brick work, plastering, paiting, providing glass door with alumium frames etc making the room dust proof as per site requirement complete as required. It is recommended that contractors visit the site to familiarize themselves with the location and the necessary work that needs to be undertaken there.

Disconnection of the BBT, HT cable and control cables, earthing strips from the existing transformer, removing the transformer from the transformer room and shifting the location as specified by the Engineer-in-Charge including wrapping the transformer with suitable material for protection from rain, dust , sun light etc complete as required.
