MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF DG SETS INSTALLATION AT DIGLIPUR

Comprehensive maintenance of DG set including manning and operation of the DG set as per manufacturer’s manual, switching ON DG Set supply manually after cut off AED supply (including idle running of DG Set), bring to correct speed, adjust voltage and frequency on panel board for taking up the pre determined load every day for operation of DG set (including Sundays and holidays) at 2U Det in Diglipur all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (i) Contractor shall employ 01 (One) Diesel Generator operator PER SHIFT, i.e. 3 (Three) Generator Operator (for Three shifts round the clock operation per day, 8 hrs per shift) at site for operating above mentioned DG sets as under:- I shift 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, II shift 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs, III shift 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs (ii) The contractor shall employ one diesel engine mechanic once in a week for maintenance of DG sets as and when required for smooth functioning of the DG sets as directed by Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost (iii) Carrying out checks of DG sets as per manufacturer’s manual. (iv) Cleaning of fuel tank as required for DG sets. (v) Checking and topping of engine oil in sump of DG set. (vi) The actual consumption of diesel by DG sets shall be recorded by the contractor every day in the DG Set log books separately for each DG set as directed. (vii) Generator room and surroundings of generator room are to be maintained neat, clean and dry as directed by Engineer-in-charge from time to time. (viii) The unit rate quoted shall deem to include cost of consumable items such as cotton waste and Hessain cloth, T&P required for maintenance/ initial charging of batteries, distilled water/electrolyte required, stationery for log books, necessary registers, First aid box, operator dress including cotton overall combinations, rubber gum boots and hand gloves etc. as directed by Engineer-in-charge (ix) The contractor shall also change the engine oil of the DG Sets as specified in the manufacturer's manual and directed by the Engineer-in-charge (x) The contractor shall also carry out cleaning of the of below mentioned DG Sets all as specified in the manufacturer's manual and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: Any additional manpower, if needed for performing the above mentioned maintenance work shall be made available by the contractor without any extra cost. Details of DG set: Capacity- 50 KVA (a) Engine Number- HA694062015-080041; Make- Kirloskar (b) Alternator Number- DS3D008F45811; Make- Kirloskar.

Contractor shall employ One Electrician (One shift) at 2U Det for operating and daily maintenance of external and internal electrification and maintaining the complaint cell. Shift 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs. Complaint cell room and surroundings of complaint cell room are to be maintained neat, clean and dry by Engineer-in-charge.

Contractor shall employ One Pipe Fitter, (One shift) at 2U Det for operating and daily maintenance of external water supply, maintain and operate pump house Dak Bunglow. Shift 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs. Pump house and surroundings of pump house are to be maintained neat, clean and dry as directed by Engineer-in-charge from time to time.

Material and labour for topping up of coolant in radiator for DG set complete all as specified and as directed. (Make - Kirloskar)

Supply and fix of 12 V 140AH maintenance free tubular battery complete all as specified and as directed. (Make - Exide/Amron/Okaya)

Supply and laying chequered rubber mat ( Electrical purposes) 2Mtr x 1Mtr x 16mm thick ISI marked suitable for 11000 volts all as specified.

Supply and fix AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) suitable for 50 KVA DG set complete all as specified and as directed. (Make - Kirloskar)

Supply and fix Battery terminal (Brass) complete all as specified and as directed.

Complete dismantling, servicing and repairs to FIP fuel pump by changing the worn out parts, renewing oil seals and O rings, bearings, gasket and assembling the pump, carrying out calibration by setting the required pressure and testing of 50 KVA DG set complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labours for dismantling & taking down starter assembly removing the worn out brushes and provide new set of brushes as per manufacturers specification, checking commutator surface, cleaning any dirt , dust, oil & foreign particles with dry cloths & compressed air, checking, repair & greasing the drive assembly for free movement over soft spines to enable drive assembly to move freely complete all as specified and as directed.
