Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5metres wide and not exceeding 1.5metre depth below ground level for foundation of poles/ stays/cable and getting out ; complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well raming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick ; complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50metres and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metres above the starting point ; complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for clean dry sand in trenches/ducts for cushoning to cable complete all as specified.(Punned thickness shall be measured)

Material and labour for well burnt bricks sub class 'B' brick straight or curved on blank old size laid flat with equal to length of brick laid dry over electric cable for protection complete.

Supply, Laying, Testing and Commissioning in trenches or drawn through pipe or fixed on wall / poles LT cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables 16 Sqmm 4 core (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded Aluminium conductor , including disconnecting, dismantling and taking down/out old unserviceable cable ; complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (a) The cost of Al thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is included in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for it. (b) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection will be measured and paid separately under respective items.
