CHILLED WATER PIPING

SITC of Pre Insulated Chilled water piping inside buildings in welded construction with MS ERW pipes with factory made GI spiral pipe jacketed PUF insulation complete with all fittings, flanges, pressure testing as per specification. Pipes 150mm dia and below shall be C class as per IS1239.200 mm and above shall be as per IS3589 with wall thicness as specified. Cost to include necessary supports with PUF saddles.

CSU Units

CSU shall consist of MERV-8 Pre-filter, 4 or 6 row chilled water cooling coil, fans, drive motors, isolation valve (Ball valve with strainer at inlet and without strainer at outlet) package with 2 way Control Valve, 2nos 20mm Binder test point and RA mixing box. The unit shall have suitable provision for aluminium powdercoated grill with aluminium collar dampers on the Mixing boxing for fresh air provision. Overall height of CSU shall not exceed 600mm. CSU shall have necessary arrangements to hang it from the top so as to avoid any channels or angles below the CSU.

The CSU's shall be sized such that the valve package consisting of isolation ball / butterfly valves, 2 Way modulating control valves, can be mounted inside the CSU casing itself. Prices to be inclusive of the valve package and including modulating thermostat.

All the CSU's are proposed to be mounted in corridors or other areas without false ceiling. Hence, the noise levels and aesthetics of CSU is of paramount importance. The CSU casing colour shall be 'Siemens grey' only. The aluminium structural members visible from outside and the PVC corner pieces shall also either be powdercoated / painted to match the colour of the casing.

The idea is to have Chilled Water CSU Units which have fans and noise level similar to DX Ductable units of leading manufacturers, but in double skin construction to further reduce noise levels. Please refer enclosed sketches for possible AHU designs worked out. In addition to TDS approval for all CSU's a Prototype for each model has to be manufactured, inspected by Client / Consultant at OEM factory for noise level and only on approval after inspection manufacture of further units can be taken up.

SITC Cabling and earthing between starter panel and CSU/AHU in existing Cable trays/piping trays. Earthing shall be with 8SWG Copper wire. Price to include all glands, lugs and termination.

CSU inlet air condition to be considered as 25 deg C, 55% RH. Chilled Water In/Out temperature to be considered as 7.0 deg C and 14.5 deg C respectively.

All Low Static CSU shall have an ESP of not less than 10mm WC.

SENSORS AND FIELD DEVICES

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of the following sensors / transducers / transmitters. All sensors & transducers shall be calibrated at site using suitable standard equipment whose calibration is traceable to national standards. Price to be inclusive of such calibration.

CONDENSATE DRAIN PIPING

SITC of Copper Soft / Hard drawn piping for smaller chilled water units(Cassettes, FCU, CSU) with all fitting and insulated with Class "0" tubular closed cell nitrile rubber 25mm thick insulation with factory made glass cloth backing. Thickness of the copper pipe shall be minimum 22G. Price to include necessary flare nuts, adaptors etc., Copper pipe routing shall be as per the attached tender layouts.

FLAT OVAL DUCT

Supply, fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning of factory fabricated GI flat Oval ducts. The price shall include associated coupling, bends, transformation pieces, collars, turning vanes( if any), ' GRIPPLE' supports/hanging system. All the duct joints shall be sealed with silicon sealant. The joints shall be with least leak. No additional payment will be made for insulating couplings,joints etc., The quoted rate shall be inclusive of loading, transportation, unloding, shifting & conduciting the pressure test as per the techical spcification & drawing details.

PAINTING OF DUCTS

Painting of Exposed ducts, VAV, Dampers, collar ducts, etc,. inside conditioned area with an external coat of primer and finished with 2 coats of enamel spray painting. (primer and one coat at factory and second coat at site - colour as approved by architect). Pricing to include cost of providing suitable measures to prevent the spray painting at site from spoiling other services or surfaces. Kindly note that these ducts would be exposed and the finishing shall be of the highest quality to achieve better aesthetics.

GI Rectangular/Flat oval/Spiral ducts for Airconditioning and Ventilation ducts, Dampers, Collar ducts, etc,. with Zinc Chromate primer and two coats of enamel paint.

SITC of Extruded Aluminium Powder coated grilles discrete/continuous. Grill mullion shall be provided in black color

THERMAL INSULATION

SITC of Thermal insulation of Rectangular/Flat oval/Circular supply air & return air ducts using closed cell Nitrile rubber (class "O") insulation with LOW VOC adhesive on surface of the duct and inner face of the insulation. Insulation shall be done internally inside the duct for Rectangular/Flat oval / circular ducts for ducts running exposed in the conditioned areas and for other closed areas insulation shall be done outside suface area of the ducts. The joints shall sealed with 48mm wide, 3mm thick self adehesive nitrile rubber tape. Insulation will be measured as the same area of the duct being insulated. No additional payment will be made for insulating flanges etc., The insulation thickness shall be as follows.

Valves

SITC of wafer type Butterfly valves PN 10 rating with extended stem complete with companion flanges, nuts, bolts, nuts, etc. as per specification. Price to include for insulation thickness as per the connected chilled water piping and covered with 300 micron polythene sheet as vapour barrier and finished with 26G Aluminium cladding as per specification. Valves 200mm and larger shall be equipped with gear arrangement for operation.

SITC of PN10 Rating Balancing valves complete with companion flanges, nuts, bolts, gaskets and probes for pressure measurement complete with pressure readout points etc., as per specification. BMS & Electrical Works

PROGRAMMABLE & APPLICATION SPECIFIC CONTROLLER (DDC)

SITC of Programmable and Application specific controllers, field mounted configured as per BMS IO Summary for respective building services and as per below distributions. The controller shall be housed in vandal proof lockable MS cabinets including necessary power supply adaptors, relays etc.,and completely factory wired with necessary connector blocks for IO connectivity. DDC should have spare points as mentioned in the IO Summary. The DDC controllers shall be equipped with minimum 32 bit microprocesor and operate on Native BACNET protocol and be BTL certified. The DDC controllers shall also have capability to connect to equipments providing data on Modbus protocol (at least 1 port for Modbus) to integrate devices such as VFD, energy meters etc., communicating on BACNET or Modbus protocol.. In each DDC Panel, the Master DDC controller shall communicate only through BACnet over IP and the add on IO modules inside each DDC panel shall could communicate with the Master DDC on BACNET over MSTP.. The DDC shall be fully configurable and programmable via the BMS Software / GUI web browser being offered without using any proprietary tools. Each controller shall perform all intended control functions in a ‘standalone’ mode should the unit incur a loss of communications. In case the number of points specified for a particular panel is out of range of the available DDC controller, vendor may add suitable number of DDC's in the panel to achieve the required points. Use of add on IO modules is not allowed. The charges shall be inclusive of integration of this DDC with existing BMS software.

Supplying, laying, termination, testing and commissioning of communication cables. (3 core 1.0 mm2), FRLS insulated, armoured, tinned copper conductor cable in trays or clamped to wall (adhesive type PVC clamps to be used where clamping is to be done on CSU / AHU or other equipment surfaces.)
