Cutting and disposal of earth work in by mechanical in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required, setting of to the required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer -in-charge at site., according to the HP.PWD. specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing at dumping site as per satisfaction of Engineer- in -charge through all modes of transportation including head load ,animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, machineries, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour ( if required ). The recovery for stones, whether use full or not for 281.25cum (two hundred eighty one point two five cubic metre) @ 300/-only(Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost). Any loss to the public and private propriety, human being, machinery during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.

Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring abd bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where balsting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/ excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width , camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost).Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him at his on cost in all cases. including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12(One cement :six sand: twelve graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty milimetre) nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete M-20 grade, 1:2:4(One cement two sand four graded) sonte aggregate 20 milimeters (twenty milimeters) nominal size) in all depths mechanically mixed and vibrated and placing in foundation ensuring non segregation with curing and form work of steel including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials machineries, Tools and plants at site of work even with mechanical means and conforming to MORTH (Ministry of road transport & Highway specifications) latest revision and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( a) Nominal mix (Hnad Mix) 11.4 (iii) grade M-20

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.(i) Medium Tensile steel bars

Filling in foundation trenches as per drawing and technical specification Clause 305.3.9 Earth filling (For marshy soil) including carriage of mateirals in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Disposal of excavated surplus earth by Mechnical transport on approved dumping site surrounding Shimla through all mode of transportation inlcuding head load animal load or mechanical means alsongwith its leveling and to complete the work of mechanized manual labour (if any required) .All useful materials such as stones, aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along roads side any loss of the public/private property during the courses of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor's which shall have to be dully compensated by him in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying heavy duty precast cement conrete inter locking paver blocks vibro compacted upto M- 50 grade i/c border or kurb block grey or coloured over sub-base of concrete with 25mm(twenty five milimetre) thick average thickness of cement mortar 1:4 (One cement : Four sand) laid over and jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of blocks i/c curing rubbing & polishing complete (Sub base concrete floor to be paid for separtely) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.(i)40mm (forty milimetre) thick block

Painting two coats (excluding priming coat)on new steel and other metal surface under coat with ready mixed paint brusing to give an even shade including cleaning the surface all dirt,dust and other foreign matter including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i)With readymixed paint other than white

Providing and fixing precast slab in cement concrete 1:2:4(One cement: two sand:four graded stone aggrtegate 20mm(twenty milimetre) nominal size with steel bars complete including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
