Cutting in earth work in by mechanical in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required, setting of to the required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer -in-charge at site., according to the HP.PWD. specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing at dumping site (To be arranged by the contractor) as per satisfaction of Engineer- in -charge through all modes of transportation including head load ,animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, machineries, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour ( if required ). All useful material such as stones, shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to the public and private propriety during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.

All useful material such as stones , shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site and handed over to the department free of cost to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation and used/removed as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. serviceable stones to be handed over to the department free of cost. Providing form work with steel plates of 3.15mm (Three decimal One five millimeters) thick, welded with angle iron in frames of 30x30x5mm (Thirty into Thirty into Five millimeters), so as to give a fair finish including centring, shuttering strutting and propping etc, with wooden battens and ballies for all heights/depths of propping and centring below supporting floor to ceiling and removal of the same for in-situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a)Vertical surfaces such as wall (any thickness) partition and the like including attached pillasters, buttresses plinth and string courses and the like :-

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12(One cement: Six sand: Twelve graded broken/crushed stone aggregate 40mm(forty millimeters nominal size) mechanically mixed and curing complete, excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (One cement :four sand :eight graded stone aggregate 40mm(forty milimetre) nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) Foundation and plinth.

Random rubble masonry/polygonal rubble masonry(un-coursed/brought to courses) with hard stone of approved quality in foundation and plinth including leveling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (One cement:Six sand:twelve graded stone aggregate 20mm (twenty milimetre)nominal size) in cement mortar 1:6 (One cement: Six sand) in breast wall and retaining walls including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Stone filling behind retaining/breast walls including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weep holes in Breast wall/Retaining wall on stone masonry with 100mm (One hundred milimetre) & P.V.C. pipe with slop of 1:20 to wards the face complete as per drawing including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
