Schedule 'A' Part I Analysis, design, detailing and supply of detailed Architectural & Structural drawings, and construction of Hangar of PEB structure of size 100mx60m, 14m height including Annexe (Admin/Tech Accn) on both sides of PEB Hangar in single / double storey (all dimensions as per Architectural drawings), all as specified and as under:- (i) Pre Engineered Building Steel structure for Hangar of size 100x60x14m (Clear inner dimensions) placed in between two annexes on RCC open foundation based on soil investigation Report (using RMC), anchor bolts, base plates and all structural steel items, rain water eaves-gutters and down take pipes, cable ducts, bird proofing of Aluminium alloy wire cloth net fixed with aluminium snap grid framework, etc., with electrically operated sliding doors with steel frame, etc., with Alu-Zinc colour coated profiled steel roofing sheets 0.6mm thick (TCT) and yield strength of 550 MPa in wall cladding and roofing (maximum of 15% roof / wall sheeting with semi transparent triple layer polycarbonate sheets), excluding PQC in hangar flooring but including epoxy flooring complete all as specified and as shown on drawings.
The rate includes the provisions of the following :- (a) Provision of necessary base plates including anchor bolts shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (b) Wall cladding on the building shall be provided as per drawings. Suitable eaves gutters and rainwater down take pipes as required shall be provided to divert rain water from the Hangar Roof to ground level. (c) Provision of necessary arrangement for fixing bird proofing shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (d) The rate is deemed to include the cost of design, fabricate and erect electrically operated (with manual option) sliding Hangar doors-on both sides of Hangar. The rate is deemed to include the cost of providing one wicket door of size 1m x 2m in one leaf of hangar door. (e) The rate is deemed to include the cost of epoxy flooring 5mm thick (Epoxy Quartz 4mm thick plus top self levelling floor 1mm thick) in floor area of hangar. (f) PQC in Hangar flooring shall be measured under respective item of BOQ. (g) Necessary foundation for hangar.
(h) The EOT crane should be designed and fabricated tested and commissioning in accordance with latest editions of IS-807, IS-3177 other relevant standard referred to there in the crane shall be provisions of suspended type capacity 5 Ton, operating current with 415 volts 3 phase 50 Hz, 4 wire, solidity earthed system with 8 mtr hook height and 30 X 30 mtr span level double girder type support alongwith all control power and control cable shall be clamp with group separately. All trailing cable shall be clamp with PVC or non metallic clamps. Make of Cranes: M/s Safex Energy Pvt Ltd, M/s Pioneer Cranes Elevators Pvt Ltd, M/s Dinesh Enterprises (ii) Annexes (admin/Tech Accn) on both sides of Hangar (Dimensions as per line plan), in single/ double storied as permanent structure with RCC framed construction based on RCC open foundation (using RMC) etc complete all as specified and as shown on drgs. (i) Annex (Admin/ Tech Block) - 4.5m ht (S/S) (ii) Annex (Admin/ Tech Block) -3.2m ht (D/S) (iii) Garage for light vehicles - 3.2m ht (S/S)
The rate includes the provisions of the following for here-in-before :- (i) The design has to be done by standard software of latest version. The rate shall deemed to include the cost of vetting of design of all structures (PEB Hangar, RCC foundations, Structural design of Annexes) by IITs/ IISC Bangalore/ SERCs. The design (showing full calculations & details) and drawings duly vetted by IITs/ IISc/ SERCs shall be submitted to the department as per time schedule communicated by the GE and as specified. (ii) The RCC structures should be designed as per IS.456-2000 and IS.1893-2002. Ductile detailing shall comply with provn as per IS.13920 and all relevant provns for seismic zone V area. (iii) Certificate from the vetting agency that the design is meeting all relevant codal requirements and design of building is structurally sound shall be furnished. (iv) All drawings for structural design, PEB structure including the details of expansion joints if any, details of structural members, junctions, structural plans, sections required for execution of works, etc., shall be furnished in original tracing alongwith soft copy in CD and 5 sets of hard copy. (v) Details of quantites of following items shall be furnished:- (a) Steel - Section wise (b) RCC - Grade and location wise (c) The technical parameters and site factors shall be considered all as per PS
GENERAL SUMMARY NOTE: Schedule ‘A’ Part - IA, II to XVII are prepriced by MES under Ser No. 4.00 to 21.00. Bidders shall insert their lumpsum amount in the Green coloured field under Col-6 only.

Site Clearance and land Development Filling of earth as in sub-grade using earth as approved by GE by mixing of earth with 2% of hydrated lime with suitable mechanical method including spreading, levelling, rolling and consolidating with 98% of modified protector density compaction complete all as specified. Note : (i) The properties/ suitability of earth obtained from excavation/ brought from outside should be checked as per requirement of MoRTH provisions before using for stabilization purpose. (ii) The rate is deemed to be included for finding out 'K' value by plate load test over the stabilized earth as directed by Engineer in charge. (iii) Hydrated lime shall be measured and paid separately under item No 24 here in after (iv) Earth required for the above item shall be measured and paid under relevant items of BOQ.
Supply only hydrated lime as per relevant IS complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for laying non woven impervious mechanically bonded polypropylene geotextile of mass per unit area 440g/m2 confirmed as per manufacturer's specification (to be laid over sand) complete all as specified.
Labour only for preloading with stone aggregate over a portion of subbase area of Hanger/taxi track/RESS/Washing bay/ dispersal area etc as directed for 60 days, by transporting of aggregate from approved quarries, unloading directly over the said portion of area to be pre-loading, stacking to a height as required to achieve a load of 2000kg/sqm of area at the interface of subbase and subgrade all as specified and directed.
Labour only for preloading with stone aggregate over a portion of subbase of Hanger/taxi track/RESS/Washing bay/ dispersal area etc as directed for 60 days, by shifting of aggregate from distance n.exc 150m, stacking to a height as required to achieve a load of 2000kg/sqm of area at the interface of sub base and subgrade all as specified and directed.
Labour only for preloading with stone aggregate over a portion of subbase of Hanger/taxi track/RESS/Washing bay/ dispersal area etc as directed for 60 days, by shifting of aggregates from distance n.exc 100m, stacking to a height as required to achieve a load of 2000kg/sqm of area at the interface of subbase and subgrade and removing the aggregates from the above portion of area after the above specified period and depositiong seperately at a distance n.exc 250m for re-use in all concrete works (except PQC) all as speciifed and as directed. Note for item No 26.1 26.2 & 26.3. (i) The stone aggregate required to be used for pre-loading shall be graded stone aggregate required for concrete work in various items of Sch ‘A’ of tender i.e. Part-IA, VI, VII, VIII, IX & X available from local source and the stone aggregate for the items GSB, WMM & DLC i.e BOQ Item Sl No. 33, 34, 35, 36 & 37 shall be available source from main land. The stone aggregate used for preloading can be reused in respective works (except items of PQC) in the Schedules and BOQ of tender documents if it is satisfies criteria specified for respective items. However, the main land aggregates and local aggregates shall be suitably stacked for preloading in a manner so that both are easily identified for measurement and re-use. Total aggregate required for preloading shall be procured and brought to to the site by Contractor. Cost of aggregates and its transportation from approved quarries to the site of work as intended to use in preloading shall not be included in the rates quoted for item Nos 26.1 to 26.3 However contractor may claim cost of stone aggregates as ‘material laying at site’ after necessary approval and the same shall be adjusted from the cost of respective concrete items of work in the Schedules and BOQ of tender if it satisfies criteria speciified for respective items.
Note (ii) The aggregates shall be stacked over the portion of sub base area to a suitable height and side slope all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge so as to achieve the specified load. The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to cater accordingly. (iii) The rate quoted shall also to include for installation of consolidation stacks to monitor the consolidation at the interface of sub grade and sub base with respect to a fixed bench mark on daily basis for the entire period of pre-loading under the supervision of expert geo-technical agency all as directed and approved by GE including recording the daily settlement results as directed by GE and submission of daily records. (iv) The stone aggregates collected and stacked vide item No 26.1 shall be removed immediately after the specified period and loaded into another sub base area to a distance not exceeding 150m and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge which shall be measured and paid separately vide item 26.2. (v) Similarly the aggregates stacked vide item No 26.2 shall be removed immediately after the specified period and loaded into another sub base area to distance not exceeding 100m and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge which shall be measured and paid separately vide item No 26.3 of this Schedule. (vi) The aggregates shifted from item No 26.2 and stacked vide item No 26.3 shall be re-used for the concrete & pavement works (except PQC) after clearing off the vegetation and deleterious materials including washing if required and brought to the specified specifications before use of the same in all concrete and pavement works (except PQC). Otherwise, the bottom and sides of the preloading shall be protected with sheeting or by any other means so that the aggregates should not be in contact with soil. The unit rate quoted by contractor shall be deemed to be inclusive of this provision. No extra cost will be allowed on account of cleaning of aggregates. The excess quantity of material, if any shall be removed from the site without any additional cost to the Govt.
(vii) The part wise sub base area to be pre-loaded shall be all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The period of counting for individual item shall commence only after completing entire corresponding area catered vide item Nos 26.1, 26.2 & 26.3. (viii) The number of days catered in these BOQ items is only for guidance and the period may be extended/ decreased as directed by GE for achieving the complete dissipation of pore water with respect to surcharge loading and stoppage of settlement of soil strata. In the event of any variation in number of days, as actually required shall be done without any extra cost to govt. (ix)The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to have the provision of Piezometer (Casgrande type) including installation between sand piles / stone column in clay-silt strata, monitoring the pore pressure upto a depth, removing the same after recording the specified results at every 1m depth, etc., and also include the cost for supervision by an expert Geo-technical Agency as approved by GE for recording the pressure results and submission of reports to the GE after commencement of pre-loading over the sub-base area.
Forming embankment in shoulder using earth as approved by GE including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30cm thick, watering ramming/ rolling under optimum moisture content to 98% of standard proctor density and finishing to required size, shape, etc., not exceeding 1.50m high from base complete all as specified. Note :- (i) The properties/ suitability of earth obtained from excavation/ brought from outside MD land should be checked as per requirement of MoRTH provisions before using for embankment purpose. (ii) Earth required for the above item shall be measured and paid under relevant items of BOQ.
Rolling and consolidating the formation surfaces of shoulder in cutting/ filling including watering as necessary filling in the depressions with approved earth which occur during the process with 8-12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified.
Rolling and consolidating the formation surfaces in cutting / filling to camber by using compactor of capacity exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 15 tonne or compaction methodology recommended by soil test agency to achieve the min 98% density of MDD determined under OMC using Modified Compactor Density (MCD) determination method as per IS code and to achieve stabilized 'K' value of min 2.0kg/cm2/cm of existing soil complete all as specified.
Supply of approved earth from outside MD land and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified.
Material and labour for boring holes of bore 500mm dia 2.5m deep in soil and getting out and disposal of spoil to a distance not exceeding 50m using DMC method (Direct Mud Circulation) and filling with aggregate of size not exceeding 63mm as in stone column for soil stabilization complete all as specified.
Material and labour for sand filling under flooring or in foundation including watering and consolidation complete all as specified.
HARD STANDING, DISPERSAL, TAXI TRACK, RESS, WASHING BAY AND HANGAR FLOOR Material and labour for granular sub base (GSB) of grade II, 150mm thick (compacted thickness) using 63mm size graded stone aggregate, depositing, spreading, interstices filled, surface formed, levelling in single layer of 150mm thick each, watering, rolling and consolidated to required gradient and camber using mechanical compactor of capacity exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 15 tonne or compaction methodology recommended by soil test agency to achieve the min 98% density of MDD determined under OMC using Modified Compactor Density (MCD) determination method as per IS code and to achieve the required min CBR value of 25% in field complete all as specified. Notes : (i) Rate shall be quoted for 150mm thick (Consolidated thick) in single layer. (ii) Each layer shall be rolled and consolidated separately. (iii) Compaction of GSB shall be carried out under optimum moisture conditions to achieve 98% of modified proctor density. (iv) Material for Granular sub base (GSB) used in the work shall be obtained from approved source of main land (India). (v) Anti weed growth measures in terms of chemical spray shall be adopted during monsoon season/ period, if work stopped for bad/ wet weather conditions.

Notes : (i) WMM shall be as specified in MoRTH specification Orange book (Fifth revision). (ii) Aggregate used in the work shall be obtained from approved source of main land (India). (iii) Anti weed growth measures in terms of chemical spray shall be adopted during monsoon season/ period, if work stopped for bad/ wet weather conditions.
Material and labour for Wet Mix Macadam WMM, 200mm thick (compacted thickness) in two layers each of 100mm thick with broken granite coarse aggregate including spreading, rolling and consolidated to required gradient and camber using power roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 15 tonne, etc., complete all as specified. Notes : (i) WMM shall be as specified in MoRTH specification Orange book (Fifth revision). (ii) Aggregate used in the work shall be obtained from approved source of main land (India). (iii) Anti weed growth measures in terms of chemical spray shall be adopted during monsoon season/ period, if work stopped for bad/ wet weather conditions.
Material and labour for dry lean cement concrete (DLC) with 7 days compressive strength 10 N/mm2, 150mm thick using cement content (OPC 43 grade) not less than 180kg/cum, laid in alternate bays, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using and tandem vibratory roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne capacity including necessary formwork for rough finished surface of concrete all as specified in 20.B.6 of SSR Pt - I/ MoRTH specification and as directed. Notes : (i) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of cement content is used/ approved based on mix design in the execution of work under this item. (ii) Aggregates used in the work shall be obtained from approved source of main land (India) as approved by GE.
Material and labour for laying 400micron HDPE sheet over tack coat of 2.5kg/ 10sqm of VG-10 HDPE with 400 micron manufactured by multilayer technology using 100% virgin row material, confirming to IS:10889:2004 with company logo and IS Code and Batch number on at least every 2 meters complete all as specified. Note : (i) Manufacturer's test certificates for every consignment shall be mandatory. (ii) Side lap of 150mm and end lap of 300mm shall be provided wherever required. The rate shall be deemed to include for the laps. (iii) Clear area only shall be considered for measurement purpose and nothing extra shall be allowed for laps.
Material and labour for 350mm thick pavement quality concrete work in pavement of flexural strength 45kg/sqcm (lower control limit) in field using min 400kg of cement/cum (OPC 43 grade) with 20mm nominal size of graded aggregate and super plasticiser if required as per design mix (as per IRC 5th revision) mixed with and including triangular/ non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement @ 0.25% by weight of cement with min 12mm length, specified gravity 1.34 to 1.40 (other specification as per IRC/MORTH) spread and compacted by using slip form paver and all as specified and including necessary form work, bull nosing, rounding of edges, finishing by mechanical brooming/ belting, curing, etc., complete all as specified.
Material and labour for 380mm thick pavement quality concrete work in pavement of flexural strength 45kg/sqcm (lower control limit) in field using min 400kg of cement/cum (OPC 43 grade) with 20mm nominal size of graded aggregate and super plasticiser if required as per design mix (as per IRC 5th revision) mixed with and including triangular/ non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement @ 0.25% by weight of cement with min 12mm length, specified gravity 1.34 to 1.40 (other specification as per IRC/MORTH) spread and compacted by using slip form paver and all as specified and including necessary form work, bull nosing, rounding of edges, finishing by mechanical brooming/ belting, curing, etc., complete all as specified.
Material and labour for forming 25mm wide expansion joint (using diamond cutter) filled with compressible synthetic filler board for complete depth of joint, i.e. the thickness of slab(350mm), provision of closed shall back up rod 30mm dia, filled with polyurethane sealant (min depth of sealant above back up rod shall be of 15mm), complying with BS 5212, BS 4254, and EN 41875-2003, priming the sides min MAF ± 30% with 10 years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edge of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface to give neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied by mechanical applied all as shown on drawing and all as specified.

Note for Item Nos. 41, 42, 43 44, 45 :- (i) Technical specifications should meet the requirement mentioned in BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 (for hydrolysis/water resistance test). In addition, the movement accommodation factor (MAF) of the sealant should be minimum ± 30 %. (ii) The side shall be primed and provision of closed cell polyethylene backup rod 30 mm dia and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the marking tape after sealant applied complete all as specified.
