Excavation in earthwork in hilly area in all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for clause 1603.1 & 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful materials for construction at suitable sites and construction of dumping sites to be arranged by the contractor for safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in all leads & lifts to the dumping site, site in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not for 236.39 (Two hundred thirty six point thirty nine) Cubic Meter shall be made in all cases, otherwise recovery at the rate of Rupees 300/- only (Rupees Three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of work shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structures such as Retaining walls, Breast Walls, Culverts, Drains & Parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil, comprising of ordinary soils, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing & MORD technical specifications clause 305.1, 1104 & 1606.1 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete P.C.C nominal mix 1:6:12 ( 1 cement : 6 sand :12 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 sand : 8 graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) for plain/reinforcement concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specifiction clauses 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 P.C.C. grade M 10 nominal mix 1:3:6 . (1 cement : 3 sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 25mm nominal size )(For Sub-Structure) including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in opens foundation complete as per drawings and technical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 P.C.C M-15 nominal mix (1:2.5:5)( 1cement: 2 sand: 6 graded stone aggregate 25mm nominal size) including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of dry stone masonry for retaining walls , breast wall , revertnent walls and parapets etc, for sub- structure as per drawings and technical specification including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of Random Rubble masonry for retaining walls, breast walls, revertment walls and parapets etc.for sub- structure and super - strructure in ( cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 sand) as per drawing and technical specification including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100mmx100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg(Twenty Five Kilogramme) each as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1301. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement :2 sand) but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets clause 1106, 900mm including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weapholes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia PVC pie extending through the full width of the structures with slop of 1 (v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clauses 614,709,1204.3.7 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and cerecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm thick corrugated sheet metal rail 70 cm. above road/ground level fixed on ISMC series chanel vertical post 150x75x5 mm spaced 2m center to center, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road lebvel, all steel part and fitmets to be galvanised by not dip process, all fitting to conferms to IS: 1367 and Is : 1364 metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150x75cx5mm,330mm long complete as per clause 810. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification clauses 1204.3.8. Granular Material including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to combor (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD specifications including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD specifications including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of sub grade and earthen shoulders with approval material obtained from borrow pits with all leads and lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification clause 303.1. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with mortar grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with three wheel 80-100 kn static roller to achieve the desired denisty, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheeled steel/vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming,type of screening/binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-II including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing laying spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in unifom thickness, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming stone screening/binding materials to fill- up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-III as per technical specification clause 405 WBM Grade-III.63mm to 45mm. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) grade on prepared surface of granular base incluidng cleaning of road surface laying primer @0.70-1.22 Kg/sqm using mechanical means as per technical specification clause 502. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor @ 0.25 to 0.30 Kg. per sqaure metre on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic brooms as per Technical Specification Clause 502 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 30mm thick (Thirty milimetre) bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant prodicing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminnous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 per cent of mix and filler , transporting the hotmix to work site , laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the req uired grade , level and alignment ., rolling with smooth wheeld , viratory and tandem rollers to achieve the disered compction and per MORTH specification clause No 509 complete in all respect including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Printing new letter qand figures of any shade with synthetic enamel paint black or any other aapproved colour to give an even shade as per drawings anf Technical Specification Clause 1701. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing fanf fixing of typical informatory sign board as per MORD specifications and drawing . Three MS plates of 1.6 mm thick , top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm * 5mm size on back on edge . The lower plate will be welded with MS anghle iron frame of 25mm*25mm*5mm, the angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will welded to 2 nos .75mm* 75mm of 12SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded on cement concrete M 15 grade blocks of 450mm* 450mm 600mm below ground level the top mosty diamond plate will be welded to middle and pronting arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mix synthetic enammel on both sides, Lattering and printing arrows, border etc, will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in reqiried shades and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be ainted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint asper drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and erecting direction and place identificatiion retro-reflectorised cautionary , mandartory sign as per IRC : 67 made of encapsulated lens type erflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting , 2mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75x75 x6 mm firmly ficed tyo the ground by meanso properly designed foundation with M-15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600mm ,600mm below ground level as per approved drawing and Technmical specification clause 1701.including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M 15 grade ordinary kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC: 8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc. as per drawing and Technical Specification of rural roads clause 1703. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.Ordinary Kilometer stone (precast)
