SPECIAL REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM STARTER AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS OLD VINTAGE ALUMINIUM WIRING INTO COPPER WIRING WITH CONNECTED FITTING FIXTURE AT KALANAGAR SURAKAHA ENCLAVE AND DSC BILLETS ELECTRIC POLE STREET LIGHT

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr in width and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in soft/lose soil , complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material (soil) not exc 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 meter above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick ,complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) Removing excavated material out side MD land. (iv) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road to make good existing disturbed surfaces.

Taking up cast iron water mains (Cl Pipes) of 200 mm dia, any class, including all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair for Ductile Iron Pipe (DI Pipes), ISI marked, Class K-7, 200 mm dia laid in trenches including jointing material such as EPDM Rubber Gasket and suitable type of Grease etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) DI fitting/special shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid seperately

M&L for Cutting the existing broken / cracked CI/DI/GI/Asbestus Cement Pipe line of size upto 200 mm dia, by dewatering the leakage water from site and removing the old pipe line and addition / altration to pipe by providing new pipe, welding, bending, grinding, including all accessories such as tee,elbow,collar etc , and ensure no leakage with pressure test complete all as specified and directed. Note : Pipes and mechanical collar are measured and paid seperately

M&L for specials fittings of size 200 mm bore suitable for Cast iron / ductile iron /Asbestus cement pipe made out of MS Plate of 12 mm Thick complete with mechanical/detachable type arrangement as per site requirement with MS bolts and nuts of suitable size and MS sheet fabricated to required dia of pipe for prepration of collar/flange, on any pipe leak or cracks of pipe for arresting the leakage complete including rubber ring, packing rubber sheet,set of two collar rings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair Sluice valve of size 200 mm dia Cl body, both ends flanged duly drilled, ISI marked with IS-14846-2000, PN-1.6 having Stainless Steel spindle and check nut including operating wheel fixing with new nuts, bolts, washers and rubber insertion/packing complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for Construction of Valve chamber in repair having inner dimensions 1200 mm x 1200 mm x 1200 mm with foundation in PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, brick work with sub class B bricks old size built in Cement mortar 1:6, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm stone aggregate for Coping, 15 mm thick rendering plaster in CM 1:4 inluding MS cover with locking arrangement all as specified and as directed. Note :- MS work for Chamber cover shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of this schedule.
