REPAIR TO WOODEN FURNITURE AND PAINTING POLISHING OF FURNITURE UNDER GE SATWARI

Note:- Removal of following existing unserviceable wooden components of various MES furniture items or similar items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing nailing,wedging, glueing, providing hinges,applying putty to level the surface, placing every part in-tact and painting the disturbed portion & Scratching the entire wooden pallets, filling putty to the bore holes making surface smooth by scratching it with sand emery paper, the Wooden furniture shall be french polished with high gloss finish in light Walnut shade, after properly cleaned and smoothened the surface. All kind of work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE Satwari including BSO's Furniture Yard, and office hours only as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Timber shall be of First class deodar wood for items. Sizes of S&F components will be as per drawing mentioned

Removing the existing unserviceable cane plastic from the chair and Recanning the chairs by true Godrej pattern with plastic cane 2mm to 2.5mm wide, white colour, half round quality as approved by GE all as specified and as shown on drgs.

Removing the existing unserviceable cane plastic from the chair and S&F PVC seat 4mm thick in lieu of cane after providing corner & centre support if necessary.The PVC seat shall be fixed with proper size screws and good workmanship. Due care shall be taken while fixing the PVC seat, the gaps if appears be filed with putty mixed with adhesive so as to make surface smooth and tidy. The PVC seat shall got approved from GE before supply.

Taking out old pressed /torn old cushions and Supply 32 density thick foam cushion of size 21”x22”x4” duly covered with the fabric (Tapestry) as approved by GE. Cushion cover shall be provided with best quality zip stitched on one edge of cushion cover with standard fitting.(Make of Cushion-kurlon Gold line, Sleepwell). Fabric for cover should be of minimum Rs 500/- per meter all as approved by GE

Taking out old torn faded cushion cover from old cushions and S&F new cushion cover to the existing cushion. Cushion cover shall be provided with best quality zip stitched on one edge of cushion cover with standard fitting. Fabric for cover should be of minimum Rs 500/- per meter all as approved by GE

Sides and back of drawers shall be of 12 mm thick BWR grade plywood. Bottom of drawers shall be of 6 mm thick BER grade plywood. Make of MDF board & Ply : Century/GreenMDF/ Actiontesa.

Note:- Removal of existing polish of wooden surface with the help of hand grinding machine and making the surface smooth carefully, applying putty to level all the surfaces including filling of any holes and again scratching with the emery paper entire surface after drying the puttyand polish the furniture with french polish with high gloss in light wall nut shades. Any loose joint should be tighten with pinning or applying fevicol where ever required. All kinds of work will be done BSO's Furniture Yard, and office hours only as directed and approved by GE.

All kind of work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE Satwari including BSO's Furniture Yard, and office hours only as directedand approved by GE.
