Supply installation testing and commissioning of Silent type Diesel Engine Generating set 415 volts 20 KVA, 3 phase 0.8 power factor, 50 Hz,developing 200 BHP @ 1500 RPM ,self exicited , self regulated brushless AC generator including AMF panel, suitable for ambient condition at Malari and confirming to condition under ISO 3046, IS 10002, BS 5514/5000 with capacity of 10% overloading for one hour in every twelve hour duration and including the following accessories :- Make : Kirloskar / Cummins/ Catter pillar Note Quoted rates for this item shall be deemed to be included for the rates of Item No 58 to 68.

(A) Alternator :- Synchronous alternator rated at 20 KVA suitable for continuous operation at 1500 RPM generating 415 volts at 0.8 p. f (lag) suitable for 50 Hz, three phase, 4 wire system. The alternator shall be brushless,single bearing,self excited & self regulated with an AVR .The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to IS: 4722 : 2001 The salient features of the alternators are :- (a) +-1% voltage regulation (max) in static conditions. (b) IP: 23 protections with class ‘H’ insulation. · (c) Permanent lubricating bearing. · (d) Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation.

(B) Diesel Engine: - Adquate capacity of Diesel engine liquid cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering de-rating as per site conditions after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexible coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant IS/BS complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation. Salient features of accessories shall be as under :- i) Fly wheel with housing ii) Cooling system :- Moulded radiator with fan & belts. iii) Cooling Liquid pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven. iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of suitable dia with MS pipe medium grade, Silencer : Residential type

v) Fuel System :- Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, fuel injection solenoid switch controlled by governer electric operated/ (as recommended by OEM) for 1% speed /frequecy regulation.,Fuel filters, Fuel hoses vi) Lub oil System :- Lubricating oil filter,Lubricating oil pump vii) Air Intake System :- Air intake Manifold,Air cleaner dry type viii) Governer : Electronic type ix) Starting System :- Electric Self starter , including battery charging alternator 12 Volts DC. x) Batteries :- Batteries maintenance free of capacity 12 V, 150 AH- 01 No complete with copper conductor multistranded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battary terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolyte all as specified.

xi) Generator Monitoring Panel : - Comprising of all standard items as per standard manufacturing, iginiton key switch and start / stop arrangement, indications for Engine parametes, hour run meter, RPM meter, Engine oil pressure indicator, coolant temperature indicator, Battery volt display. xii) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure, high coolant temperature and over speeding of engine. xiii) Coupling arrngement : - Flexible coupling xiv) Accessories :- AVM Pads built- in or separtely mounted to manufactrer base frames. xv) Base Frame : - Base frame is fabricated either in ISMC or in sheet metal.The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting Diesel engine and alternator close coupled, with cross members mounted on AVM. The base frame shall have provision for mounting of acoustic enclosure & control panel on it and lifting hook for complete set i.e. along with canopy, engine and alternator. xvi) MS/Steel flexible pipe line to and from the fuel tank to the DG Set. xvii) Battery Charger shall be provided as per manufacturer guidelines. xviii) 1 No battery of 12 V in charged condition with its leads.

C) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE : Acoustic enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet. The silent canopy shall be of nut bolt type construction. Powder coating is done after seven-tank surface preparation process of sheet metal. Canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of FIRE-RETARDANT foam as acoustic material & Rock wool for hot zone.Adequate hinged doors shall be provided to canopy, one door shall have glass window for control panel visibility. (i) Manufactured by OEM suitable for 20 KVA DG Set. (ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board. (iii) The generating set battery should be inside the enclosure. (iv) Fuel tank :-Daily service fuel tank of 8 hours of continuous operation, fabricated form 14/16 SWG sheet metal complete with drain, inlet and outlet connection and fuel gauge.

(v) Construction Details/specification are as follows : - (a) Outer body :- CRCA Sheet of 1.6mm thick. (b) Doors :- CRCA sheet of 1.6 mm thick. (c) Sound Insulation :- 100 mm thick rock wool (minimum density 64kg/Cum)/ fire resistance foam/puff as per OEM/ as per standard manufacturing to achieve desired decibel level. vi) The acoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit. vii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. viii) The enclosure should be suitably internally illuminated by LED Lamp fittings. ix) The noise level should be < 75 dB at 1m under free field conditions. x) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade.

D) Control Panel :- Control panel shall be fabricated from 16/14 SWG sheet and powder coated after seven tank treatment process: (i) Microprocessor based generator set monitoring and control system consists of LCD display and to monitor operator interface, fault history, alternator data, Engine data, porvision for service adjustement and caliberation of DG control functions, Engine controls, engine protective functions, alternator protective functions etc. (ii) Instrument fuses and control wiring. (iii) Indication lamps set for running and load on. (iv) Bus bar including suitable capacity of MCCB, including CTs, cable etc.

E) AMF Panel :- Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Panel made of CRCA sheet 2 mm thick including necessary arrangement to Install, Testing and Commissioning complete all as per OEM recommendation.

F) Civil Works :- All civil works including PCC (1:3:6) platform with a height of 60 cm above ground level and upto a width of 60 cm both sides of DG Set for easy operation of operator and necessary maint work and related foundations for panel and equipments including making good of distrubed area during installation and commissioning of genset . The depth and size of the foundation and PCC as recommended by the manufacturer. Note:- The contractor shall arrange artificial load resistive for testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Note :- (i) The complete DG Set shall be procured from authorised OEM of the manufacturer of engine. A certificate in this connection shall be submitted to the GE. (ii) Circulation system to achieve desired inside temperature of acoustic enclosure, if required shall be provided as per OEM recommendation. (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site as specified in PS and IS requirements in presence E/M Offr detailed by accepting officer, all testing arrangements/ equipments shall be made available by the contractor for tests. (iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of lubricant oil, DHPP for 12 hours testing and final successful acceptance test.

(v) Anything missed out above but technically required for efficient working of DG Set is deemed to be included in quoted rates. vi) Design / drawing of the AMF panel & DG SET showing the dimensions is to be obtained from DG SET/ panel board manufacturer / supplier & is to be got approved from Engr-in-charge/GE before placing final order to the manufacturer. vii) The electrical connection of digital Multi Functional Meter in the AMF panel is to be done from load side so that monitoring of various parameters viz. Voltage, Current, KW, KVA, power factor, frequency etc can be done of both SEB mains & DG mains. viii)The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of engine oil & final successful acceptance test. ix) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclclusive one set of all types of filters , complete set of Maint tools & fuel refilling pump for filling fuel to DG set .

Supply and fix LT overhead lines (ABC) on 9 meter steel poles with XLPE insulated AB cable 3-core x 95 sq mm + 1 x 70 sq mm with three different colour coding (RYB) for three phases and black for neutral, including all accessories required for fixing cable on the pole and providing branch connection at any point , Complete all as specified and directed. Note:- One run of 3 core 95 sqmm and one run of 1 core 70 sqmm shall be measured and paid as one unit.

Supply and lowering PVC insulated sheathed 3 core flat cable with copper conductor 6.0 sq mm 1100 volt grade including cable clips for fixing etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of street light fitting 60 watt LED, endura pearl neo new generation energy saving and environmental friendly long life LED street light made up of pressure die cast aluminium housing with high power LED as lighting source and lens embedded PC cover having top opening seperate driver compartment with IP66 protection all as specified and directed. Note :-Rates quated by contractor are deemed to be inclusive of 3 core cable PVC insulated unsheathed copper multistranded conductor ISI marked from MCB box to street light all as specified.

Supply and fixing steel tubular pole 9 Mtrs long type 410 SP- 31 ISI marked final taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws including painting of pole with two pole of Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including 30 cm alternate step of black and yellow paint up to height of 1.5 Mtrs from top of PCC coping complete with base plate of MS sheet 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm thick welded at the bottom of pole all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix bracket for fixing street light fitting made out of GI pipe medium grade 32 mm 1.5 M long, incl 2 core 4 sqmm PVC cable aluminium conductor from gear / control box to fitting through PVC conduit and along with necessary MS clamps, nuts, bolts, and washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix security light termination box, weather proof, along with connector for 3 phases and MCB SP - 6 amps incl 4 aluminium strip bus bar mounted on insulator of size 200 x 250 x 150mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanished steel earth plate electrode size 600X600X6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25m below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to and including using galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm as earthing leadby means of bolts ,nuts, check nuts & washers of galvanised iron and connected to test point all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part I-2009 and all as specified or indicated and testing on completion including excavation and earth work in any type of strata available at site, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earthing chamber, pre cast RCC slab 50 mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) weight not less than 4 kg/sqm funnel with GI watering pipe of 20 mm bore medium grade ,wire mesh and lugs ,GI protection pipe of 15 mm bore light grade up to 7.5 mtr long ,etc complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- GI earth striip and protection pipe beyond 7.5 metre will be measured and paid separately.
