Replacing the damaged wooden shutters with new steel shutter (vent No.12 from Vizhidiyur road) at tail end regulator in Melaoduthurai village in Karaikal region

Fabricating, supplying and erection of Screw Gearing Steel Shutters of size above 3.00m and up 4.00m width, made out of 10mm thick Mild Steel Plate, minimum 4 rows of horizontal stiffeners using ISMB 150 x 75 mm and ISMC 100 x 50 mm channels 6 rows for verticals and Gusset Plates 2 Nos. of size 0.25 x 0.25m using 12mm Mild steel plate providing roller on both side 4 Nos. of 100mm dia Mild steel rollers with 80 mm dia Gun metal bushes fixed on 100 x 50 mm Mild Steel channels 2 Nos. on both side and providing leakage proof pipe ‘B’ class 80mm dia GI pipe 2 Nos. to the required height and rubber beading in the bottom of the shutter with required bolts and nuts. The ‘A’ frame made up of ISMC 100 x 50 mm channel and including conveying and leading the shutter to site and erection of shutter in position at site with all accessories and hire charges of machinery. The shutter shall be finished with one coat of Anticorrosive black paint over one coat of Red Oxide primer. The rate to include dismantling the old shutter from the vent, including the power required, conveyance of erection equipments to site, loading of dismantled materials after completion of work, transporting to stores, unloading and stacking. The rate shall include the cost of petty civil works and trial operations and all taxes etc., complete

Overhauling the horn type head set assembly and reconditioning screw road including replacing the damaged bearings, bolts and nuts, grease packing and painting the head set. The rate shall include the cost of materials, machinery and labour charges, conveyance, refixing in position, etc, complete
