SCHEDULE 'A' PART - I REPAIRS, RE-CANING AND POLISHING OF WOODEN FURNITURE

Material and labour for replacing the following unserviceable parts of CHAIR WRITING FD – 250/280 with new parts made out of first class hard wood (Teak Wood) dimension, size, pattern of the parts shall be same as the existing type all as shown on drawing/specification and applying french polish one or more coats, finish shall be uniform texture and high gloss to match with the existing surfaces including preparation of surfaces with sand paper, levelling the surfaces with filler material like bees wax, chalk powder etc., mixed with polish complete all as specified and as directed

Back rest of size 50 x 15mm slightly curved made out of 50 x 35mm timber wood

Front legs size 55x30mmx460mm

Side rails of seat frame of size 65 x 30mm x 470mm

Front/back rails of seat frame of 65x30mmx535mm

Hand rest of size 60x25x510mm long.

Stiffener of size 25x20mmx535mm long

Material and labour for replacing the following unserviceable parts of PEG TABLE FD-236/277 with new parts made out of first class hard wood (Teak Wood) dimension, size, pattern of the parts shall be same as the existing type all as shown on drawing/specification and applying french polish one or more coats, finish shall be uniform texture and high gloss to match with the existing surfaces including preparation of surfaces with sand paper, levelling the surfaces with filler material like bees wax, chalk powder etc., mixed with polish complete all as specified and as directed

Replacing of top made out of 18mm thick particle board exterior grade with phenol formal dehyde BWP, top side laminated with 1.5mm thick decorative lamination, teak shade and bottom side painted with synthetic enamel paint, white shade to required texture and finish, 4mm thick teak wood lipping on all around the edges with french polish coat complete all as shown on drawing/specification and as directed

Material and labour for replacing the following unserviceable parts of TABLE DRESSING LADIES FD - 373 with new parts made out of first class hard wood (Teak Wood) dimension, size, pattern of the parts shall be same as the existing type all as shown on drawing/specification and applying french polish one or more coats, finish shall be uniform texture and high gloss to match with the existing surfaces including preparation of surfaces with sand paper, levelling the surfaces with filler material like bees wax, chalk powder etc., mixed with polish complete all as specified and as directed

Glass shutters (Each set of glass shutter shall be measured as one unit)

Aluminium channel for glass shutter complete (Each set of channel shall be measured as one unit)

Back support for mirror with 6 mm thick plywood BWR grade

Looking mirror 5 mm thick with with teak wood back frame complete

Material and labour for replacing the following unserviceable parts of Bed plywood top FD-245/246 with new parts dimension, size, pattern of the parts shall be same as the existing type all as shown on drawing/specification and applying french polish one or more coats, finish shall be uniform texture and high gloss to match with the existing surfaces including preparation of surfaces with sand paper, levelling the surfaces with filler material like bees wax, chalk powder etc., mixed with polish complete all as specified and as directed

Long rails made out of IInd class hard wood (Nandi/Mathi) of size shown on drawing and length of long rails 2000mm with screws/adhesive

12mm thick plywood top BWR grade fixed with screws/adhesive

Material and labour for cleaning the surfaces and removing stains using sand paper, filling cavities, cracks with approved filler material like bees wax, raw-zina, chalk powder etc., mixed with polish, applying high gloss french polish, till the final glossy finish and uniform texture is achieved (undersides/hidden portion directly not visible shall be excluded) for the following items of furniture complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing the existing unserviceable plastic cane/nylon newar from Chair Dining (FD-16/228/279), Chair Writing (Drg No. FD-250/280), Chair Easy (FD-229) and material and labour for canning with approved superior quality plastic cane (virgin plastic), half round oval shape, white shade 2 mm wide, Godrej pattern including 3 mm wide cane for beading etc., all as shown on drawings complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing existing unserviceable tapestry cloth from cushions of sofa set 5 seater (3+1+1) FD-281/373 and supply & fix new tapestry cloth of approved quality (Cost not less than Rs. 220/- per mtr) and stitching to the required shape and design of foam rubber cushion with one side chain/zip lock and fixing to the sofa all as shown on drawings/specification and as directed. Colour & design of Tapestry cloth shall be as approved by Accepting Officer.

Removing existing unserviceable foam rubber from sofa set 4/5 seater FD-281/373 and supply & fix new foam rubber cushion of approved quality and fixing to the sofa for the following items all as shown on drawings/specification and as directed.

Foam rubber cushion of size 100mmx525mmx550mm for seat - 40 density

Foam rubber cushion of size 100mmx525mmx550mm for back - 32 density

Material and labour for cleaning and removing rust with sand paper, removing the dents/bends if any, preparing the surfaces, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint with spray gun, olive green colour, glossy finish for the following items of furniture complete all as specified and as directed.
