SPECIAL REPAIRS / REPLACEMENT TO EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINES, DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND CONNECTED WORKS AT DAD QUARTERS UNDER GE BELGAUM.

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth for laying of DI/GI pipes etc, and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material/ surplus soil not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing damaged unserviceable CI & GI pipes of 100 mm dia with fittings from the site and taken as credit complete all as specified and as directed. Note :Earth work and excavation will be measured and paid seperately under relevent items mentioned below .

Supply and fix in repairs 100 mm bore dia of Centrifugally cast(Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure pipes with socket & spigot end including all fittings ,class K-7 conforming to IS: 8329/2000 marked with and including Rubber Gaskets used with Push -on -jointing confirming to IS 5382 in any length laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed . Note:(i) DI specials such as Tee, reducer etc including joints and jointing materials will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items of this schedule.(ii) Make of DI Pipe : Jindal Ltd , Gujarat /Electro steel castings Ltd , WB / Tata Metaliks , Kolkata

Supply and fix in repairs DI fittings of class K-12 confirming to IS 5382 marked upto 100 mm bore such as any type,MJ Collar Couplings,Flange Spigot,Double Socket Bends any type, double Socket reducers, all socket Tees, any type ( straight,bends increasing,decreasing or double socket etc ) tail pieces single branch Y junction,double branch cross ( all sockets or socket ends spigot) including Rubber Gaskets used with Push -on -jointing complete all as specified and as directed . Dismantling and taking out old unserviceable CI sluice valve of any description , size 100 dia and taken as credit complete all as specified and as directed..

Supply and fix in repairs 100 mm bore dia sluice valve, cast iron body with stainless steel spindle and iron wheel head , flanged type, conforming to IS-14846 Class PN 1.0 with rubber gaskets, MS nuts, bolts, washers and packing materials etc., as required and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Supply ,lay and test 50 mm outer dia of pipe , 3 layered PP-R Polypropylene random co polymer pipes SDR 7.4 (PN16) UV Stabilized and antimicrobial fusion weided having thermal stability for hot and cold water supply all PP-R plain and brass threaded polypropylene random fittings laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for Construction of Brick masonry Valve Chamber of size 900x900x900 mm (Internal dimensions) with 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded aggregate for foundation, 230 mm thick brick masonry wall built in CM 1:6, 75mm average thick x 200mm width coping in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 to internal walls, floors and upto150mm depth below GL to external walls, including provision of 2mm thick MS sheet cover fixed to MS angle iron frame made out of 40 x 40 x 4 mm thick angle iron with necessary MS flat iron stiffeners of size 40mm x 4mm including two coats of synthetic enamel painting over one coat of red oxide primer to all steel surfaces and provision of locking arrangements including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil including demolition of existing valve chamber and taken as credit complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling existing unserviceable PVC water storage tanks of capacity upto 300/500 litres alongwith manhole lid after disconnecting the inlet, outlet and over flow pipe connections and taken as credit complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Rotational moulded Poly-ethylene Water storage tanks of 1000 ltrs capacity , Triple layered ,White coloured (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part-Iall as directed.
