Detailed condition assessment report Preliminary visual inspection & surface survey, high-resolution photographic documentation (before, during and after), condition mapping (deterioration marking, tracing/ grid mapping), material & deterioration identification (visual analysis), written condition assessment report with recommendations in detailed project report in coordination with qualified art conservator and conservation architect on site.

Photographic and videographic documentation Providing comprehensive pre-conservation photographic documentation of historic wall paintings including overall elevations, sectional views, and close-up condition details using high-resolution digital equipment, with proper scaling, color reference, and controlled lighting, complete as per conservation documentation standards. Carrying out systematic videographic recording of wall paintings, preparation of detail condition photographs highlighting deterioration features such as flaking pigments, cracks, plaster detachment, deposits, and previous repairs, properly indexed and labeled.

Proper handling and moving health and safety measures Providing and maintaining site-specific health and safety arrangements for wall painting conservation works, including hazard assessment, safe work procedures, and compliance with heritage-site safety protocols, complete.

Conservation laboratory at site Providing and installing a temporary conservation laboratory/workstation at site, including stable work tables, storage racks, and protected preparation area for conservation materials, complete in all respects. Provision of basic examination equipment such as magnification lamps, raking light, PH meter and other necessary equipment, measuring tools, and accessories required for wall painting conservation. All chemicals and consolidate must be of conservation grade imported chemical with bills and available on site.

Scientific analysis/ testing from authorized laboratry of wall painting as per conservation requirements. Carrying out non-destructive scientific examination of wall paintings to identify materials, pigments, binders, and deterioration features using approved analytical methods.

Consolidation of plaster and paint layer as emergency treatment Carrying out emergency condition assessment to identify unstable areas of wall paintings including flaking pigments, detached plaster, cracks, or active deterioration requiring urgent stabilization. Providing temporary facing/support using conservation-grade tissue, reversible adhesives, stabilization of loose edges, cracks, or localized detachments through minimal intervention techniques suitable for historic fabric. Cleaning Carrying out pre-cleaning examination and test patches to determine suitable cleaning methodology compatible with original materials, gentle dry surface cleaning using soft brushes, micro-vacuum, or conservation-grade tools to remove loose dust and deposits without disturbing original paint layers, controlled wet/chemical cleaning using approved conservation solutions, swabs, or gels and localized cleaning of sensitive or fragile areas using minimal intervention techniques. Filling and filleting Preparation of lacunae and edges by careful cleaning and stabilization of surrounding original plaster and paint layers prior to filling operations. Providing compatible lime-based or conservation-grade filling to losses in plaster, cracks, and voids, matched in texture and level to adjacent surfaces without covering original paint layers. Executing filleting of edges to secure fragile boundaries between original material and fills using fine tools and reversible conservation materials. In painting and reintegration Carrying out inpainting of losses using reversible, conservation-grade pigments and binders to visually integrate lacunae without covering original historic material. Executing chromatic reintegration using distinguishable conservation techniques (e.g., tratteggio/ neutral toning) to achieve visual harmony at normal viewing distance while remaining identifiable upon close inspection. Reattachment of loose elements Identification and marking of hollow or detached plaster areas through careful tapping and visual inspection prior to treatment, preparation of injection points and cleaning of voids to facilitate bonding without disturbing original paint or plaster layers. Injection of compatible lime-based or conservation-grade grouts/adhesives to reattach loose plaster to the substrate using controlled methods and pressure and sealing and finishing of injection points to match surrounding surface without obscuring original fabric. Stabilization of painting Application of compatible conservation-grade consolidants to stabilize flaking or powdering paint layers using controlled methods to ensure penetration without altering appearance and proper protective coat to wall painting using conservation grade consolidant. Recommendations for preventive conservation, scheduled training to staff and care taker of building.

Recreation of new painting on existing wooden doors/ windows Cleaning of existing paint layer as per requirement on site under supervision of Engineer in-charge. Local repair or replacement of deteriorated wooden elements with matching seasoned timber, ensuring protection and reintegration of painted surfaces. Complete painting decoration work on wooden doors / windows & false ceilings. Treatment for insect or biological activity using conservation-approved methods safe for painted surfaces. Application of protective measures and environmental stabilization during conservation work.

Restoration of existing decorative wooden doors/ windows Detailed inspection, condition mapping, and photographic documentation of painted khatambandi ceiling including identification of paint loss, flaking, insect damage, structural looseness, and previous repairs, complete. Controlled wet/solvent cleaning tests and treatment, Stabilization and consolidation of flaking or powdering paint layers using compatible, reversible conservation materials. Local repair or replacement of deteriorated wooden elements with matching seasoned timber, ensuring protection and reintegration of painted surfaces. Providing and fixing of new Khatambandi at ceiling in Chaar-gul pattern fabricated using 1st class seasoned Deodar wood. The rate shall include supply, workmanship and installation of wooden ceiling components excluding scaffolding/ framework.

Restoration of painting on decorative khatam Bandi Detailed inspection, condition mapping, and photographic documentation of painted khatambandi ceiling including identification of paint loss, flaking, insect damage, structural looseness, and previous repairs, complete. Controlled wet/solvent cleaning tests and treatment, Stabilization and consolidation of flaking or powdering paint layers using compatible, reversible conservation materials. Structural tightening and stabilization of interlocking wooden members. Local repair or replacement of deteriorated wooden elements with matching seasoned timber, ensuring protection and reintegration of painted surfaces. Minimal inpainting and visual reintegration of paint losses using reversible pigments, ensuring distinguishability on close inspection.
