Earth work in excavation for structure in all depth as per drawing and technical specification Clause 305-1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracin, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable amterial. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water polution etc. and to protect (where blasting is prohibited) as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge all useful material such as stone, shingle, aggregates & slate etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly. Any loss to the public and private property to during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Providing concrete for plain / reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications clasue 802,803,1202 &1203 1:4:8 (one cement : four sand: eight stone aggregate) 20 mm

Providing and Laying in weep holes of retaining walls / breast walls 100 mm dia PVC (D-Plast) pipes of working pressure not less than 4.5 K.G. per sqm. As per drawing and HPPWD technical specifications, including the cost of form work and hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying filter media with granular material behind retaining wall / breast wall as per specifications 1204.3.8 in a width of 600 mm including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Brick work using common burnt clay building bricks in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement:6 Sand) 2nd class bricks in superstructure inclduing all leads and lifts, as per HPPWD specification of 1990 Volume-I, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work inclduing cutting hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of lead paint in beans joints channels angles tees flats with connection plates or angle cleats as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters, purlins and connected to common raters and the like as per specification of HPL:PWD, specification of 1990 Volume-I as per specification of Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting two coats (excluding priming) on new wood and wood based surfaces with ready mixed paint brushing to given avene shade inclduing cleaning of all diret dust and other foreign matter sand papering and stopping with ready mixed paint other than white.

15 mm cement plaster in single coat on rough side of brick / concrete / stone walls for interior plastering upto floor two lebel inclduing arrises internal rounded angles, chamfers and / or rounded angles not exceeding 80 mm in girth and finishes even and smooth in cement mortar 1:5 (1cement:5 sand) inclduign all leads ans lifts, as per HPPWD, specification of 1990 volume-I.
