OUTSOURCING OF SERVICES FOR WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATION AT UWR P H 203 PH MANGOOR PH DCRA PH TRISHUL PH AND VARUNAPURI PH UNDER AGE EM II OF GE(NW) VASCO

Rendering services round the clock (three shifts ie 1st shift 0600 to 1400 hrs, 2nd shift 1400 to 2200 hrs & 3rd shift 2200 to 0600 hrs of next day) including Sundays and Holidays for operation of water supply installations, DG Set and Package type AC plant 3 x 15 T package type with one No of skilled operator for each shift including all connected items such as valves connected to pumping mains and electrical items such as main switch, starter, electro mechanical dozing equipment, voltmeter, ammeter, panel board all as specified and as directed at Under Water Ranges (UWR) consisiting of electric driven pump sets - 02 Nos, DG Set 200 KVA -01 No and 82.5 KVA - 01 No and all panel board including AMF Panel and removing grass and bushes, cutting branches of trees growing in the entire area of water supply installation and keep the installation neat and clean throughout the period of Contract (One pump set will run at a time) all as specified and as directed.

All as per item 1 here in before but two shifts ( From 2200 to 0600 hours of the next day & 0600 to 1400 hours) by one unskilled operator/helper for each shift at Mangoor Pump house consisiting of electric driven pump sets - 02 Nos, DG Set 100 KVA -01 No,Chlorine dozing pump and panel board - 01 No.etc (One pump set will run at a time) all as directed.

All as per item 1 here in before but two shifts ( From 2200 to 0600 hours of the next day & 0600 to 1400 hours) by one unskilled operator for each shift at Varunapuri Pump house consisting of electric driven pump sets -03 Nos and panel board - 01 No,100 KVA DG Set - 01 No, Chlorine dozing pump and panel board etc (One pump set will run at a time) all as specified and directed.

All as per item 1 here in before but One shift (From 0400 to 1200 hours) by one unskilled operator for 203 Pump house consisting of electric driven pump sets -04 Nos, Diesel engine pump set -04 Nos, diesel engine pumpset -01 No,UG Sump -02 Nos including operation of submersible pump set by the same operator near Bldg No P-55 approx 300 metres away from the Pump House (One pump set will run at a time) all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 1 herein before but two shifts ( From 0400 to 1200 hours & 1400 to 2200 hours) by one unskilled operator/helper for each shift at DCRA pump house consisting of electric driven pump sets -03 Nos, UG Sump - 01 No, Chlorine dozing pump and DG set 25 KVA - 01 No. panel board - 01 No etc(One pump set will run at a time) all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 1 herein before but three shifts ( ie 1st shift from 0600 to 1400 hrs, 2nd shift from1400 to 2200 hrs & 3rd shift from 2200 to 0600 hrs of next day) including Sundays and Holidays by One skilled Operator for each shift at Trishul Pump House consisting of electric driven pump sets - 04 Nos, diesel engine pump set - 01 Nos, UG sump-01 No, DG set 320 KVA-01 No and all panel board including AMF panel etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- One pump set shall be run at a time for domestic use and fire fighting pumps as and when required..

Note for item No 1 to 6 :-

(a) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes ,cess, levies etc as applicable including GST. (b) The prevailing rate,wage,contribution etc shall be as applicable as on the bid submission end date. (c) 24 hour period will be considered as a day, pump set shall be operated in shifts of 08 hours each shown against item No 1 to 6. Contractor shall employ one skilled operator per shift for UWR,VARUNAPURI,203 & TRISHUL PH. (d) Daily maintenance all as directed by Engineer-in-charge , area cleaning etc shall be included in the rate quoted. Operator shall maintain maintenance register for each installation showing all day to day maintenance / activities carried out daily

(e) Log sheet showing daily running hours and maintenance carried out ie consumption of grease, chlorine chemical granules, lubricants, DHPP etc shall be maintained by the contractor at installations and same will be checked by the Engineer-in-charge periodically and daily by JE. All log sheets / maintenance register duly signed by operator and contractor shall be produced for verification. (f) Consumption of DHPP, bleaching powder/chlorine chemical granules will be regulated by the Dept. DHPP (Diesel) will be issued under Sch 'B' free for operating DG sets. (g) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of topping up of battery electrolyte, cleaning/replacement of battery terminals, charging of batteries etc if required.

(h) Pumps and DG sets shall be operated by the same operator as required and directed. (j) Attendance register and duty roaster shall be maintained in each installation. (k) Water testing solution/kit shall be provided and maintained at all the time in each installation by contractor. (l) Water supply installations & DG set shall be operated by the same opertaor as required/directed. (m) The DG set will be operated as and when power supply failure or as directed. (n) In view of COVID-19 alerts various restrictive instructions issued concerned authorities from time to time. Hence additional precautions essential for the work shall be taken by the contractor by way of provisioning of masks, hand sanitizers, gloves etc to workmen and all local instructions issued by the Concerned Authorities and Station Authorities shall be complied with all relevant safety precautions covered under Model Rules for the protection of health and sanitary arrangement for workmen (Annexure ‘C’) of IAFW-2249) shall be strictly followed. Nothing extra is admissible on this account

(o) The contractor shall also deploy additional man power as relief against weekly off,leave,holidays etc all as per existing Labour Act and shall substitute the operator accordingly for which no extra payment admissible. The unit rate quoted against items in Schedule ‘A’/BOQ shall be inclusive of this provision also. (p) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operator through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts and Credit to their bank account. The wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more.

M&L for calcium based high strength free flowing solid chlorination medium fortified with corrosion inhabitors and anti scaling agent for drinking water application. Chemical/Granules should be packed in a sealed HDPE container of size (25/45 kg each) with having chlorine concentration level of 65-70% including demonstration of complete process for mixing the solution with suitable ratio manually in the UG sump of each pump house as per the desired ppm level complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Weighing machine, Buckets with lid and other necessary items required for mixing the disinfection chemicals are included in the unit quoted rates.
