Charpoy steel IP hard top (Drg No. FD/E6/MAP-II/01) : REPLACEMENT OF STEEL FURNITURE ITEMS AGAINST BER FURNITURE UNDER GE (I) GOSSpecification: Overall size shall be 1980mm long, 900mm wide and 440mm high. a) The frame of charpoy shall be made of MS hollow section piupe of 16 gauge as per specified sizes mentioned in Drg. b) Top of charpoy shall be of 12mm thick BWR ply of grade-A; Place and fix over the and fix over the stiffeners and cleat with 12 Nos of flat head bolt of 6mm dia, 50mm long nylon insert nut and round washer. c) Each leg of charpoy shall be provided with 32mm x32mm x 5mm thick MS plate shall be welded at bottom of each leg. Rest all specification and dimensions are as per drg The charpoy shall be dry powder coated in black after preparation of surface.

Bed hard steel (Drg No. FD/E6/MAP/08 (R.) : All as shown on drg and specification Conduit pipe shall be 38mm sq 1.6mm thick for main frame and 19mm sq 1.6mm thick for inner frame for head and foot board 65mmx25mm 1.6mm thick for long rail. 25mm sq 1.6mm thick for stiffener under 12mm plywood shall be used Prelaminated particle board 18mm exterior grade for head and foot board with PVC edging 1mm thick. Finish : All steel surface shall be black powder coating Rest all as shown on drg.

Table steel 900 x 900 x 760 mm (Drg No. FD - 1009) : All as shown on drg. Over all size shall be 900 mm x 600 mm x 760 mm steel frame shall be of 800 mm x 500 mm x 742 mm. Four legs shall be of 25 mm squre mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6 mm top of legsshall be joined together width 25 mm squre mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6 mm top rail on long and short sides. Two short stiffner joining legs in short sides at 100 mm front bottom shall be provided in the middle of short stiffener joining short stiffener with 25 mm squre mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6 mm at 100 mmmfront bottom of legs.Top of table shall be of 18 mm tick prelaminated particle board with teak weneer shade and PVC edging all round the top of table, irrespective of what is shown and specified on drg. PVC/Hard rubber toes shall be provided two the bottm of leg. All steel surface with two coats of enameld paints over a coat of primer with a spray machine after preparation of steel surface.

Chair writing steel (Drg No. FD/E6/MAP/12) : The overall size of the chair shall not be less than 475mm wide and deep and 580mm high at seat from ground level. The seat and back are to be made up of 1.2cm thick hot-pressed plywood, upholstered with fabric upholstery covers and moulded melamine foam. The back foam is to be designed with contoured lumbar support for extra comfort. The foam is to be moded with density =45+/-2 kg/m3 and Hardness= 20+/-2 at 25% compression. Arm rest shall be one piece. All metel parts shall be dry powder coated in thickness more than 50 microns.

Bench cushioned with back rest steel 3Seater (TP) : Size- 1750x680x780mm, Brand- KYLIN, as per trade pettern.

Rack shoe steel Drg No. FD/E6/MAP/02 (R.) : Overall size shall be 700mm long, 300mm wide and 880mm hig. The legs of the shoe rack shall be of 25mm dia MS pipe of 18 gauge. The five shelves of the rack shall be of 20mm dia MS pipe of 18 gauge welded to legs . The shelves shall have 3mm dia Ms rod 9 Nos in widthwise and 3 Nos in lengthwise welded to 20mm dia shelf frame. All steel surface shall be black powder coating Rest all as shown on drg.

Book case steel (Drg No. FD-1028) : All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 840 mm long, 310 mm wide and 1675 mm high. All sheet shall be mild steel 1 mm thick, back, sides, bottom top and shelves shall be 1 mm thick. The book case shall be provided with four compartments of equal size. The shutters of each compartment shall open towards top and slide in to the depth of the book case. Two steel handles 100 mm long shall be provided to each shutter of the compartment. The locking device shall be provided to each compartment. All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of surfaces. All joints fixing shall be done in accordance with standard workmanship and specifications. Rest all as shown on drawing.

Almirah large steel 1/2H x 1/2S (Drg No. FD/E6/MAP/18) : (a) Overall size of Almirah large 1/2 Hx1/2 Sh steel shall bel 900mmx 910mmx 475mm. (b) Almirah's body, shutter, drawer, locker, vertical partitions and shelves shall be made out of 20 Guage MS plain black sheet all as shown in drg. (c) Back shall be of 22 Guage plain black sheet. (d) Welding process shall be of MIG (Metal Inert Gas) type using Carbon dioxide and Argon blend. (e) All MS members shall be pre-treated with epoxy polyester powder coating (Black) 70 microns by 7 tank process and Oven Dried internally & externally with the following specifications. (i) Dry Film thickness more than 45 microns (ii) Salt Spray test to with stand more than 1000Hours. (iii) Adhesion as per DIN 53152 standards. (iv) Pencil scratch hardness more than 2H (f) Rest all as per drg.

Charpoy folding IP with hard top (Drg No. FD - 388 (R.): All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be of 1980x900x550mm.The frame work shall be 25mm dia 16 guage MS conduit pipe.04 nos stiffner shall be provided between long rail 25mm dia 16 guage .Top shall be of 8mm thick BWR plywood conforming to IS-303. Rest all as shown on drawing. All joints/weldings/fixing shall be done in accordance with standard workmanship. All frame work shall be painted with spray paint synthetic enameled over a coat of primer all as directed by Engg-in -charge.

Ladder Aluminium (Drg No. FD - 1025 ) : (a) The overall length & width shall be 2310x363.5mm. (b) Aliminium stringers as shown in drawings of size 1.75x60mmx3.18mm thick channel bent shape as shown in drg. (c) 08 rungs each of 23 mm dia& 2.43 mm equally spaced, leaving 100mm on either side of stringer. The rungs shall be closed with hard rubber caps on either side. (d) Aluminum anodised shall be of 15 micron. (e) Hard rubber cap/shoe made out of 32x60x80mm, shall be provided on either ends of the stringer as shown on drawings. (e) Rest all as per drg or as specified.

Chair varandha PVC (Drg No. FD/MAP-II/06) :(a) 19 mm MS tube of 16G thick shall be used for frame work. (b) Welding process shall be of MIG (Metal Inert Gas) type using Carbon dioxide and Argon Blend. Joints of welded portion shall be finished smooth. (c) Finish: All MS members shall be Pre-treated with epoxy polyester power coating (Black) 70 microns by 7 tank process and Oven Dried with the following specifications: (i) Dry film thickness more than 45 microns. (ii) Salt Spray test to with stand more than 1000 hours (iii) Adhesion as per DIN 53152 standards. (iv) Pencil scratch hardness more than 2H. (d) 4mm thick seat & back shall be made out of PVC moulded alongwith 4x10mm ribs provided at all around the outer edge & around the grooves of size. (e) Hard PVC inner shoes shall be provided for the legs duly affixed with adhesive. (f) Rest all as per drg or as specified

Rack side steel with 3 trays (Drg No. FD - 97 (M) : Overall size as per drawing and all joints/welding/ fixing shall be done in accordance with the drawing.All welded construction and steel work shall be powder coating painted internally and externally or as required shade over a coat of primer.

Rack 6 tier Steel (Drg No. FD-106(M) : Overall size shall be 915mm long deep 1905mm high. Four angles of 30mmx30mmx3mm shall be provided at four corners as vertical . Bottom and intermediate shelves shall be provided of 1mm mild steel sheet. The rack shall be enclosed with mild sheet 1mm thick on top. Sides and back fixed to angle iron with spot welding. Four angle corners 150mmx150x1mm of mild steel sheet shall be provided to front, top and bottom corners . All steel and iron surface shall be painted with spray paint of two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer after preparation of surface as directed by GE to obtain smooth finish.

Table steel 900 x 600 x 760 mm with drawer (Drg No. FD - 1008) : All as shown on drg. Over all size shall be 900 mm x 600 mm x 760 mm steel frame shall be of 800 mm x 500 mm x 742 mm. Four legs shall be of 25 mm squre mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6 mm top of legsshall be joined together width 25 mm squre mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6 mm top rail on long and short sides. Two short stiffner joining legs in short sides at 100 mm front bottom shall be provided in the middle of short stiffener joining short stiffener with 25 mm squre mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6 mm at 100 mmmfront bottom of legs. A drawerr on left side of table near top stiffner shall be provided of size 350 mm x 130 mm and 500 mm deep with lockinng arrangement and recessend handle. Mild steel sheet used for drawer shall be of 1 mm thick. Top of table shall be of 18 mm tick prelaminated particle board with teak weneer shade and PVC edging all round the top of table, irrespective of what is shown and specified on drg. PVC/Hard rubber toes shall be provided two the bottm of leg. All steel surface with two coats of enameld paints over a coat of primer with a spray machine after preparation of steel surface.

Almirah Med steel (Drg No. FD - 1032) : (a) Overall size of Almirah shall be 1270mmx760mmx440mm having three shelves and four compartments. b) Top, doors, shelves and base and legs shall be made up of MS Sheet of imm thick(nominal). c) Handle shall be 100mm long Chromium plated. d) Four lever Lock shall be provided of Grade Il quality conforming to IS 729/1979 alongwith duplicate keys. (e) All MS members shall be pre-treated with epoxy polyester powder coating (Black) 70 microns by 7 tank process and Oven Dried internally & externally with the following specifications. (i) Dry Film thickness more than 45 microns. (ii) Salt Spray test to with stand more than 1000Hours. (iii) Adhesion as per DIN 53152 standards. (iv) Pencil scratch hardness more than 2H. (d) Welding process shall be of MIG(Metal Inert Gas) type using Carbon dioxide and Argon blend. (e) All MS surface shall be spray painted with two coats of synthetic enameled colour to be approved by GE over a coat of red oxide primer.

Locker Bed side steel (Drg No. FD - 257) : Overall size shall be 760mm long, 600mm wide and 1100mm high. All steel shall be of 1mm thick in front, back , sides, top and bottom. Legs shall be of U shape channel 100 high and 60mm wide ends plugged with 1mm thick mild steel sheet. The legs shall be welded to bottom of almirah. Half of almirah shall have shelves and other half shall have hanging space. A vertical partition shall be provided dividing the width of almirah in to two halves. Hahging portation shall habe 20mm dia chromium plated steel conduct pipe 1.6mm wall thickness with sockets at 55mm from front of shutter of almirah or 80mm top of almirah as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Two shelves, making three equal compartment shall be provided in the other hall of almirah. Two black steel studs fixed in side of shutter shall be made to shape with 1mm thick sheet and 80mm wide, height being that of shutter shall be provided a directed by Engineer-0in-charge. One number safety type, chromium plated brass haps and staple at 75mmx40mmx3mm shall be provided to front shutter. chromium plated handle 100mm long shall be provided to each shutter as shown on drg. Two 50mm long tower bolt shall be provided to one shutter in the inner side as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Front shutters of almirah shall be side hung with 75mm long bult hinges. All steel surface coats to enamal paint over a coat of primer after preparation of surfaces painting shall be done with spray machine.

Desk Class room 2 Seater (Drg No. FD-1021) : Overall size as per drawing and all joints/welding/ fixing shall be done in accordance with the drawing.All welded construction and steel work shall be powder coating painted internally and externally or as required shade over a coat of primer.Top used should be18 mm thick MDF board exterior grade Top (Grade-I) ISI marked (Action Tesa/Century Prowud from century Ply/ Green panel max from green ply) duly post formed with 0.8 mm thick laminate in colour /shade approved by EIC with 2mm thick PVC edging of make-Rehau/Pegasus/Kynex all around with strong bonded adhesive as per drawing and size,provided hard pvc toe to each leg ,all as per drg or as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
