M&L for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces with washing down soap water of runway, taxi track road for painting with mechanical mode of application as lines, dashes, arrows, letters and applying one coat of runway road marking paint aqua based golden, yellow, black, orange or white colour as approved by Garrison Engineer to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Masking tape/ steel/ wooden frame or template should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor has to ensure that, the lines, dashes etc marked with paint shall be in proper shape and finish as required. Any errorneous marking shall be make good by the contractor on his own cost and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Material and Labour for preparation of old painted concrete/bitumen surfaces with washing down soap water of runway, taxi track road for painting with cold retro-reflective paint 1mm thick including spreading of 500micron size glass beads (350gms/Sqm) by using mechanical mode of application as lines, dashes, arrows, letters and applying one coat of runway road marking paint aqua based retroreflective type golden, yellow, black, orange or white colour as approved by Garrison Engineer to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Make: Asian Paint Apcotrak-WBR or equivalent Note: - Masking tape/ steel/ wooden frame or template should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. M&L for preparation of existing concrete surfaces / plastered / unplastered surface of wall and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint in red and white with alternate square / rectangular panel in runway / link / dispersal / PQC / side wall area complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces of runway, taxi track, link / dispersal and applying one coat of cement base paint of colour as approved by Garrison Engineer to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Masking tape should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick masonry quions, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Unserviceable material retrieved under this item is contractor property and necessary amount as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from the contractor dues. (ii) Rubbish shall be removed out site MOD land. (iii) Serviceable bricks retrieved shall be reused in respective items of this schedule.

Taking down cement plaster on brick wall and ceiling including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks (old size bricks) straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement and sand mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour brick work except bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement and sand mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Serviceable Bricks obtained under demolition of respective item shall be used.

Material and labour 15 mm thick rendering in cement and sand mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work surfaces finished even and fair and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling bricks (laid flat or on edge) or bricks tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc (each layer) laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Unserviceable material retrieved under this item is contractor property and necessary amount as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from the contractor dues. Material and Labour for repair to broken/damage portion of concrete slab or pavement of surface area not exceeding 1 square metre by cutting damaged portion to slab/spoil edges to triangular / rectangular cross section and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions bull nosing the edges complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Material obtained from damaged portion of concrete slab shall be removed from out side MOD land.

Cutting of existing Runway/taxi tracks at cracks and at spalled edges mechanical tools making groove at edges cleaning through air blower/air blastisng and applying propriety primer on the cleaned surfaces to obtain tack and finally filling in ELASTOMERIC CONCERETE of make Choksey Chemicals/CIPY/BASF or equivalent (prepared by mixing part A, part B and adding fiberglass sand all as per manufactureres instructions) and properly mixing in purpose made mixer plant electrically operated) to obtain a homogeneous mix and finally tooling the surface with hand tools to obtain a grooved textured finish. Note: (i) The rate shall include for providing masking tape at joints and form work required if any at spalled joints edges. (ii) The quoted rate deemed to include for making good the disturbed joint filling around the area where material is applied. (iii) All material shall only be procured directly from manufacturer.

Material and Labour for preparing of existing expansion joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 20 to 25 mm wide and 30 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the filler board and pouring the sealant. Thereafter filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board if required , over it filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia for complete length of the joint.and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealent complying with BS-5212 & BS -4254 and EN 141875 -2003 (for hydrolysis / water resistance test) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 % (with Ten years performance guarantee) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed from out side MOD land.

Material and Labour for preparing of existing construction joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 12-18 mm wide and 20 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealent complying with BS-5212 & BS -4254 and EN 141875 -2003 ( for hydrolysis / water resistance test ) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 % (with Ten years performance guarantee ) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealent complying with BS-5212 & BS -4254 and EN 141875 -2003 ( for hydrolysis / water resistance test ) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 % (with Ten years performance guarantee ) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed. Cutting/Scarping grass, bush, weeds or vegetation on the edges of runway/PTT/roads manually and removing material out side MOD land obtained from cutting and cleaning both side runway, PTT, near DTGM board complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) Grass shall be cut and finished 10 mm to 25 mm above the existing ground level. (ii) All foreign materials (stone pieces etc) obtained during cutting of grass shall be removed from out side MOD land. (iii) Materials obtained from cutting of grass shall be removed out side of MOD land

Ploughing of Soft Ground Arrestor (SGA) area with tractor of minimum 30 HP capacity alongwith Cultivator/ other tools for depth not less than 25cm complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Contractor will arrange his own Tractor and cultivator with POL & MT driver as per requirement of Air Field. The requirement shall be intimated to contractor in advance. (ii) The rate quoted rate by contractor is including of all T&P, POL and operator mentioned above. (iii). T&P should not be more than 5 year vintage. Also T&P should be at par with AirForce Requirement, if not the same can be modified to meet the requirement of the Station.

Material and labour for removal of down filled earth from drain and cleaning the bottom and side drain from mud vegetation and preapared the surface for smooth flow of water etc and removing the roots ,vegetation and mud up to 50 mtr from the periphery of the area complete all as directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge. Note: - To determine the depth of sludge levels initially and after cleaning of drain shall be taken and recorded in MB duly signed by, Garrison Engineer, Engineer - in Charge and contractor.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) (PQC graded) as in floor and paving exceeding 150mm thickness below or above ground floor with concrete breaker/manually as required at site and removing rubbish out site MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) exceeding 150mm thick of minimum 28 days field flexural strength of 45kg/sq cm or 4.5 Mpa aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of curshed stone or gravel fine aggregate of clean natural sand or curshed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 400 kg/cum of cement with non-circular, virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39 UV stable, alkali resistant with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240 degree Celcius and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacture as per IS 16481:2016. PQC laid, spread and compacted including curing and tining complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10 1 14 and Table 9 of IRC : 15-2017.
