REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF DTGM / SIGN BOARD, SCRAPPING OF SHOULDERS OF RUNWAY / PTT / LINKS ETC AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT AIR FORCE STATION UDHAMPUR

S&F in repairs for removal of old damaged polycarbonate sheet of thickness not less than 2 mm and applying self adhesive reflective tape/ sheet background of approved tint/ colour as in Cautionary/ Sign boards of airfield complete all as specified and directed

S&F self adhesive retro reflective tape of approved tint/colour for writing alphabets / numbers / letters / arrows / etc. as in Cautionary / Sign boards/DTGM boards of air field complete all as specified and directed Note. Qty shall be measured based on length/width and height of letters cut from a square/rectangular sheet.

S&F self adhesive reflective tape background including preparation of surfaces as taking down of existing self adhesive reflective tape background including alphabets / numbers / letters in DTGM / Cautionary boards / Sign boards complete all as specified and directed . Note: Alphabets / Numbers / letters/arrows etc shall be measured and paid separately under item 2 above.

M&L for replacement of existing sign board of size exc 0.30 Sqm and n. exc 0.75 Sqm with following specifications or as directed :- (a) Main frame for sign board shall be made of aluminium square / rectangular hollow section not less than 63.50mm x 38.10 mm x 1.20/1.21 mm incl supply & fixing of polycarbonate sheet of size exc 0.30 Sqm and n. exc 0.75 Sqm both side of aluminium frame. (b) The height of bottom side of board shall be minimum 450 mm above ground level or as per user requirement and the board shall be fixed minimum 300 mm below ground level with PCC 1:4:8 type D1, uding 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate. (c) The numbers/letters/digit/sign/lines/arrows etc made of retro reflective tape having reflective tape background shall be fixed over 2 mm thick Polycarbonate sheet of approved colour and as directed. Note : Before procurement/ supply, sample of board shall be produced by the contractor for approval of GE.

Demolition of plain cement concrete of any description & in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (unreinforced) incl removing the rubbish material out side of mod land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour Cement Concrete type 1:4:8 D-2 100 mm thick (40 mm gradede stone aggregate) as in sub base of pavement complete all as specified .

Material and labour for 150 mm thick Cement concrete 1 : 2 : 4 type B-1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) as in hardstanding/flooring over sub base complete all as specified , spread and compacted by using screed/plate vibrator all as specified including mixing of polyester triangular fibre @ 0.25% by weight of cement, necessary formwork, T & P for bull nosing , rounding of edges, and finishing the surfaces etc complete all as specified and as directed. ( Polyester fibre shall be measured and paid separately )

Supply only polyester made non circular fibres with cut length between 30-35 mm having tensile strength 300 Mpa, melting temperature minimum 250 degree celcius having specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39 with equivalent fibre diameter 15-40 micron @0.25 percent by volume in controlled cement concrete complete as specified and directed and as described in relevant PS clause. Note : The quantity of non circular fibre mentioned as @ 0.06 to 0.30 percent above may vary as per site requirement and / or design mix and / or as per any other test mandatory for runway work and measured and paid accordingly.

Forming 20mm thick expansion joint in concrete slab 150 mm thick filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with selaing compound Grade "A" complete all as specified .

Forming construction joint 10 mm wide 30mm deep filled with sealing compound Grade 'A' complete all as specified and directed.

Forming contraction(Dunny) joint 65 mm deep x 10 mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'A' complete all as specified and directed .

Labour only for totally cleaning the top surface with steel wire brush and finally fanning with compressed air to making the surface free from all loose materials i.e dirt/dust etc to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and applying cold polymeric bitumen emulsion (PME) mopping of total cold liquid PME ( minimum 1 ltr & maximum upto 2 ltr per sqm for two coats after dilution with 50% water ), each coat diluted in the ration 1:1 (PME: WATER) and ensure uniform finish of runway complete all as per manufacturers instruction and all as specified and as directed. Note:- The tenderer shall take into consideration for the following points while quoting his rate for the items:- (a) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicator of the manufacturer only. (b) Care shall be taken to fill wider gaps/cracks with 0.6mm to 2.36mm size coarse sand as per manufacturers instruction. (c) Workman ship & quality of work is as per satisfaction of user & Engr-in-charge.

Supply only cold polymeric bitumen emulsion (PME). Note: a) Only undiluted quaintly will be measured under this item. b) The item will be used against quantity of PME required above item . c) All material shall be deposited to AGE B/R I office before start of work. d) All empty drums shall also be deposited to AGE B/R I office till completion of work.

Excavation over areas, n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excacated material exc 1.5 Km but not exc 10.00Km and depositing where directed complete all as spd and as directed

Supply only fine aggragate (sand) dust free as approved by Engr-in-Charge.

Spreading and levelling earth/sand in layer n exc 25cm thick in layer complete al as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any descriptions, in Ground floors (Floor Topping, Sub Base etc) not exc 150mm thick, above or below ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed of drain complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in cills,lintels upto 1.50 metre clear span , copings etc. and in similar works including weathering,slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating and necessary form works complete all as specified as as directed .

Cutting of Grass Shurbs, Weeds, Bushes, Vegetations, etc. with the help of Bush Cutting Machine including small trees girth up to 30cm along the Sides of Runway, PTT, Links, etc. including collecting and disposing all waste, trimmings etc outside AF land as required, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES: (1) The height of grass shrubs, weeds, bushes, vegetation etc should not exceed 200mm after cutting and it shall measured in Pocket wise which includes cutting of edges in drain/PTT/ any area other than grass surfaces. (2) Measurement for payment shall made be after execution of above mentioned requirement in pocket wise. (3) Pocket/Task area shall be as decided and directed by Engineer in Charge. (4) Proper record shall be maintained wrt location & date of execution of work. (5) Disposal of waste is deemed to be included in quoted rates. Contractor shall ensure immediate removal of all waste materials after cutting, trimming etc under his own arrangement and dispose off outside AF land as per Municipal Corporation/State Govt regulations. (6) Contractor shall ensure that the waste/trims are not blown on runways, PTT, links etc and shall depute labourers for immediate cleaning/sweeping & removal from site to avoid FOD. Contractor's quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the above aspect.

All as per above item but here-in-before but with the help of Jungle Jim Tractor. NOTE: CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE MINIMUM 02 NOS BUSH CUTTING MACHINE & 01 NO JUNGLE JIM TRACTOR ALONGWITH SKILLED OPERATOR MIN THRICE IN A WEEK OR AS REQUIRED BY USER. JUNGLE JIM SHALL BE COVERED IN A MANNER SO THAT GRASS SHOULD NOT BE SPREAD OUT SIDE THE CUTTING AREA TO AVOID FOD AT AIRFIELD.

Scraping of grass shurbs, weeds, bushes, vegetation etc manually at ground level including removal of small irregularities in natural ground & levelling including collecting and disposing all waste, trimmings etc outside AF land as required, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES : (1) This item is intended for narrow stretch or location which is inaccessible by machines. Measurement for this item shall be considered upto a max width of 75cm. (2) Proper record shall be maintained wrt location & date of execution of work. (3) Disposal of waste is deemed to be included in quoted rates. Contractor shall ensure immediate removal of all waste materials after cutting, trimming etc under his own arrangement and dispose off outside AF land as per Municipal Corporation/State Govt regulations.

Ploughing of SGA not less than 30 cm in depth using plant & its connecting tools required for ploughing complete all as specified and directed.
