Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m : All kinds of soil: Pipes, cables etc. not exceeding 80 mm dia.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and for all lift.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas within AAI Premises (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and filling avaliable earth obtained for subgrade, embankment, depressions as instructed and in layers not exceeding 20 cm (loose) in depth (or any thickness as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge in case vibratory roller / soil compactor is used) including breaking clods, watering, consolidating each layer with power road roller 8 -10 tonnes weight or vibratory roller / soil compactor of adequate capacity under optimum moisture content condition to give at least 95% of the maximum laboratory dry density (modified Proctor density) as per IS : 2720 (part VIII) complete including leveling, fine dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as per MORTH specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge with all leads and lifts. (The item includes cost of excavation, carriage of avaliable earth upto work site for all leads and lifts and compaction . Payment shall be made for compacted quantity only

Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.
