REPAIR/MAINT OF DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER, DEHYDRATION OF TRANSFORMER OIL AND CONNECTED WORKS AT DRONACHAL BHOPAL

Strip opening of transformer of capacity 100 to 200 KVA, 11 KV /433 volts indoor /outdoor type of any make after unscrewing nuts & bolts, screws and connected, dismantling carefully connected acesories and removing primary and secondary terminals, top cover, conservator tank, temerature gauge,breather,neutral earth strips and draining out transformer oil to the required level and storing carefully in cleaned containers ( to be arranged by contractor) etc. for replacement of defective parts such as replacement of leaking gaskets, replacement of worn out/burnt out studs, checking and cleaning of contacts of tap changer and re-assembling the transformer after replacing the defective parts and carrying out repairs complete all as directed by the Engineer-n-Charge. Notes : (i) Payment of defective parts to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this schedule. (ii) The cost for replacement of packing material such as 5 mm thick rubberised cork sheet top gasket, insulator’s gasket including nut, bolts and other small fittings as required for transformer shall deem to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor against this item (iii) The repair/strip opening of transformers shall be carried out at site of its installation without taking down/removal of transformer from the site of installation. (iv) Scope of repairs shall be decided by the Engineer-in-Charge in writing immedietely after strip opening and accordingly the repairs will be carried out as directed.

All as per item No 01 here in before but transformer of capacity 250 KVA and up to 750 KVA complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filtration/Dehydration of transformer oil of transformers installed at specific location of entire Dronachal Campus/Sub station to achieve die electric strength 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap gap as per relevant IS by deploying portable/mobile filtration plant at the location of transformer, testing of the oil for specified die electric strength, break down voltage before filtration and after filtration complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. Quoted rate for this item shall deem to include deployment of all types of portable/mobile T&P required for filtration of transformer to be provided by the contractor. 2. Quantity of old transformer oil retrieved for dehydration shall be inspected by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and topping up fresh transformer oil for die electric strength of 40 KV at 2.5 mm gap conforming to IS -335/1993 in the conservator tank/body tank of the transformers installed at various locations of Dronachal Campus Area/Sub Station complete all as directed Note : 1. New oil shall be supplied in factory sealed container only. 2. The quantity of new transformer oil brought at site shall be recorded in MB as ' Not to be abstracted' before topping up in the transfrmer.

Taking out old unserviceable defective HT bushings from transformers and supply and fix porcelain bushing with brass studs, nuts and washers connecting to winding, testing and commissioning of transformer 100 KVA to 750 KVA capacity complete all as directed .

Taking out old unserviceable defective LT bushings from transformers and Supply and fix porcelain bushing with brass studs, nuts and washers connecting to winding, testing and commissioning of transformer 100 KVA to 750 KVA capacity complete all as directed .

Taking out old unserviceable drain cocks from the transformers and Supply and fix new gun metal gate valve 25 mm bore along with brass/ gun metal dummy cap with rubbber washers as required at site complete all as directed

Taking out old unserviceable drain cocks from the transformers and supply and fix new gun metal gate valve 50 mm bore along with brass/gun metal dummy cap with rubber washers as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of silica gel into the breather of transformers complete all as specified and directed

Supply and replacement of silica gel breather assy complete suitable for transformer of capacity 100 KVA to 750 KVA complete all as specified and directed

Supply and replace 32mm x 6 mm GI strip as in earth continuity conductor fixed to wall or pole or recess or cheses or burried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required all as directed

Disconnecting the unsv transformer HT 11/0.433 KV, upto 750 KVA from any Electrical sub station in Dronachal campus including disconnecting of HT jumper, outgoing LT cables, earth lead GI strip etc, complete and loading on transportation vehicle with crane and manpower and transporting to workshop as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge and GE in writing before movement of transformer from the location of installation of transformer. The transformer transported to workshop shall be inspected by the Engineer-in-Charge after opening up of transformer and accordingly the scope of repairs shall be decided and carried out in the workshop under this item shall include the followings:- (a) Removing the existing burnt out complete (HT/LT side) winding without damaging the core and rewinding both primary and secondary windings with appropriate gauge of copper wire conductor annelid and super enameled and number of turns as per manufacturer recommendation including insulation materials as required. Rewinding of both HT & LT coils shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this schedule. (b) Drained out the existing transformer oils and stored in suitable size MS Drums arranged by the contractor and after repair/maint making the dehydration up to the dielectric strength of 40 to 60 KVA including top up with new transformer oil and servicing of breather etc.

(c) Removing the existing burned out complete Tap changer and fixing of new tap changer as per the manufacturer recommendations.Tap changer shall be measured and paid seperattely (d) Cleaning inside of the transformer properly by removing the burnt out particles and oil sledge etc, cleaning the entire internal surfaces of the body of transformer and painting the prepared surface with two coats of synthetic enamel paint before reassembling and filling of transformer oil. (e) Installing the winded cores inside the transformer body and connecting the HT & LT loads with appropriate sides. Reassembling the transformer with replacement of 6 mm thick gasket bolts nuts and washers and replacement of 03 Nos post insulators complete. (f) Transporting back to work site (Original site) from Workshop, lifting from transport vehicle with crane and manpower, installing at existing pole mounted/Transformer plateform connecting electrically, commissioning and testing completen to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (g) The transformer shall be repaired in reputed workshop as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and GE before tranportation process of transformer begins from the location of installation. (h) Testing of transformer in workshop premises including providing test reports before removal of transformer from the workshop and the cost of testing shall deem to be included in unit rate quoted against this item. (j) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall include the time line of 15 days commencing from disconnecting and transporting the transformer from the location of installation till re-installation on the specifed location after carrying out neccessary repairs. In case of non-delivery of the repaired transformer within a specified period of 15 days, penality will be charged at the rate of 1000/- per day from the 16th day onwards till the time of actual date of installation. (k) The above item will be operative,measured & paid only in case of Transformer is carried for rewinding in the workshop

Replacement of following parts of unserviceable transformer disconnected under schedule item no-12

(a) New Copper wire of cmpatible size

(b) Tap Changer

(c) Insulating material

M & L for preparation of old painted external surfaces of HT/LT transformers of capacity 100 KVA to 160 KVA including removing oilly and greasy spots and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint including carrying out two coats of white wash to plastered surfaces transformer foundation plinth and lettering with white paint as MES NO/SM No, capacity, year of installation, serial No and Make etc over coat on black paint complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 14 here in before but transformer of capacity exceeding 200 KVA but not exceeding 750KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down unserviceable PG clamp of any type & size and supply and fix PG clamp of suitable size of 33/11 KV substation including electrical connection complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge

M&L cable jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 Core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cable jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 Core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 to 185 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cable jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 Core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 240 to 300 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying of HT / LT side terminal box of suitable size for 315 Kva trasformer made of SA 40405 angle iron and 2mm thick MS sheet including removable cover with required holes on flange to fix at body of transformer and removable cover and fixing with new cork sheet gasket with nuts bolts and washers including one coat of synthetic enamel paint as under coat and one as finishing coast to both side of box complete all as specifiea d and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundtion of pole/stay assembly ,mass concrete.etc including necessary form work , all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces ,removing dust and other deposited materials by scraping from HT tubular pole of 11 Mtr long, two pole structure , painting of pole with one coat of black and yellow paint alternatively 30 cm wide upto 01 mtr from PCC coping and painting the rest of the pole including cross arms cable protection pipe clamps with one coat of aluminium paints including writing figure/letter n exc 30 cm each over black back ground for making pole Nos Sub Stn Nos with white synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces ,removing dust and other deposited materials by scraping from HT tubular pole of 11 Mtr long, painting of pole with one coat of black paint upto 1 Mtr from bottom and painting the rest of the pole including cross arms cable protection pipe clamps with one coat of aluminium paints including writting 50 mm figure/letter over black back ground for making pole Nos Sub Stn Nos with white synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Repair /Servicing of GOD including gresing of all movable parts with checking and replacement move contract blade , jaw type femail contract ,insulator of any type , nuts, bolts and washers, PG clamp etc complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for spray painting with one coat of synethetic enamel paint for outdoor/indoor panel board outer & innner side with two coat of lime wash on plinth of panel board including connected accessories in any size and welded hingeg , locking arragement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Trimming/Cuting of bushes and grass of Substations/MES Installations and surrounding of Panel board feeder piller boxes at various location and dumping/staging and removal of rubbish to a distance n exc 50 mtr from existing point all as specified and directed.

Supply, spreading and levelling 40 mm size graded crushed coarse aggregate around transformer plinth/four pole and two pole structures including earth treatement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spread of lime (chuna) powder for the two pole structures/33 KV main receiving station yard complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for two coat white wash on wall/ plinth for transformer of different substation all as specified and directed.

Taking down unserviceable cable lugs from panel/Transformer of any size and supply and fix existing size aluminium cable lugs (25 Sqmm to 240 Sqmm ) including electrical connection and testing complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & Fix PVC conductor sleeves (R,Y,B) of suitable size from Over head line to transformer including electrical connection complete all as per directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for 60 cm long medium channel 75 x 40 mm thick including suitable clamps and nut, bolts & waser fixed on HT pole with one primer coat and one aluminium coat paint complete

M&L Chemical earthing, copper coated safe earthing electrode (SEE) of 3 mtr lenght with inner pipe of 40 mm dia and outer pipe of 80 mm dia with min 80-100 micron coating, filled with black fill compound mixed with soil and high specific gravity crystallin conductive mixture (CCM) of grade `B`filled inside the earth electrode.including drilling of hole of 150 mm dia bore with boring machine up to 20 mtrs depth in hard rock and filling the bore hole with black cotton soil up to 17 mtrs level i,e below the electrode bottom level , including PCC earth pit and Copper earth strip of 32 x 6mm with GI tubing light grade 40mm bore for protection up to 7.5 mtrs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and replace the pressure release valve suitable for transformer of capacity upto 750 KVA installed in Dronachal sub station complete all as specified and directed.
