SUB HEAD 1 - PREPARATORY WORK Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge
Provision for providing and fixing Bamboo scaffolding wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-Charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
SUB HEAD 2 - DISMENTALING AND DEMOLITION WORK Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in-equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m. All kinds of soil
Manually removal of vegetation (major trees, climbing plants, creepers) from roof slab, roof vault, walls, columns, arches, floor etc in a skilled and careful manner, using appropriate tools and means and without causing any damage to the adjoining parts, including carrying and stacking the dismantled materials including lift/lower up to roof vault, minatates, terrace etc, as directed by the engineer or architect in charge. The exposed surfaces will be coated with a paste made from ammonium sulphamate crystals or with "Tree killer" available in market. In this condition the root system may be left to absorb and die. Large sections of dead wood must not be left within the core. As they decay they will remove support and create voids and weaknesses in the wall. Pull off a well‐established mat of vegetation must be resisted complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-Charge.
Dismantling and old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.
Demolishing lime concrete manually/ by mechanical means and disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer- in-charge.

SUB HEAD 3 - CIVIL WORK - Cleaning the sand stone surface and removing dirt, dust, bird dropping, grease, oil, algae, fungus, monkey beats, vegetable growth etc., including providing, applying and washing the surface with liquid Shopberry, Tamarind, Fenugreek solution and as with the help of required scrubbers and also cleaning with machine operated water jet where ever required, without causing any scratching/ damage to the stone surface and finally washing the surface with clean water with the help of pressure jet machine, complete in all respect, including taking all precautions to safeguard ventilators, windows, doors etc. by suitable covering so as to avoid any damage to the building/ structure, all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved except scaffolding).
Providing & Applying Lime Plaster: Providing & Applying (upto 12mm & more thick) lime plaster (Backing coat) on bela stone masonary for Facia Restoration walls using lime, coarse sand, stone dust and adhesives as per traditional practice, mortar mix of 1:2:2 (1 lime, 2 coarse sand, 2 stone dust) and appropriate adhesives i.e. jaggery syrup, methi powder, yellow oxide, geru powder,dolomite (marble powder) etc. as binders, colour pigments, insecticide and fungicide. Applying lime plaster incl. curing, consolidation, finishing complete with all materials, labour, tools and tackels.
Stone consolidation‐removing the loose/damaged stone and reconsolidating with new stone/reusable stone with lime mortar(1:3) wherever ncessary) before applying of lime plaster the surface must be wash with water after and incl. curing, consolidation, finishing complete with all materials, labour, tools and tackels as directed as Engineer- in- Charge

Providing & Applying Lime Pointing (Raised pointing - false): Providing & Applying 6mm (or more - upto 8 mm) lime pointing on textured plaster walls using lime, fine sand, stone dust and adhesives as per traditional practice, mortar mix of 1:2:1.5 (1 lime, 2 fine sand, 1.5 stone dust) and appropriate adhesives i.e. shesh gunder syrup, methi powder, etc. as binders, insecticide and fungicide. Applying lime pointing consolidation, finishing complete with all materials, labour, tools and tackels.
Providing and applying of Permeable, water based Mature Lime wash finish of interior and exterior grade used for conservation and restoration of historical building, formulated by Mature Lime Putty with fillers, After the cleaning of surface and removing any loose or flaking material, applied two coat of Lime wash finish with one coat of Lime Based primer of approved color and shade to achieve desired finish apply by brush, roller and appropriate tools, as per specification, all completes with the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and Architect. Application of High quality Wacker SMK 1311 water base water repellent solvent free silicon coating impregnating on all Internal & external wall surfaces. The dilution of water should be done in ratio of 1:14 (1 Wacker : 14 water). The dilution should be applied in 2 coats, wet on wet application to the surface. The application can be made through brush or spray. The application should be done with prior preparation of surface by cleaning o it form residue of any material, dusting it clean for application.

SUB HEAD 4 - STRUCTURAL REPAIR WORK - Repairing of 0.5mm to 5 mm wide open joints / cracks in all types of sand /lime stone masonry work including scrapping of loose jointing material from cracks. The inner side to be filled/pointed with lime mortar with wooden trowel and fixing grouting nipple from outer side as directed by Architect. Then apply lime mortar by injection grouting through 5mm diameter nozzle through the pre fix nipple up to total thickness of existing stone wall and removing the PVC nipple pipe, lime moratr of mix lime & sand 1:1 mix with polymer using katha or other additives to achieve require matching colour and including cost of all materials, labour, machinery, equipment, curingand cleaning the site as directed.
Providing & Applying weedicide treatment on masonary surface to treat vegetation i.e. plants, shrubs, grass developed on deteriorated masonary using glyphosate - 70 diluting in water @ 1kg / 10 l of water and applying the same with spraying on walls.
Steel‐rod stitching in cracked stone patties, beam, and lintels. Providing and fixing stainless steel rods of 90cms length of which 15cm on either side and cold bending at 90degrees. The stainless steel clamps to be fixed perpendicular to the crack by drilling in stone and fixing with cement and aradite mixture in such a way that the entire length of the rod is in complete contact of the stone and the bent ends are fully inserted in the cracked stone. Anti-Termite System:Providing and laying of permanent piping technology anti-termite treatment before flooring work by installing LLDP (Low linear density polyethylene) tube of 8 mm O.D. & 6.4 mm 1.D. with inbuilt pressure compensation chip every 30 cm interval in the tube, having working pressure of 2 Kg/cm2 and release rate of 1.9 Itr/hour fixed by P-clips and nails. The LLDP pipe shall be installed at the entire periphery of the building and at internal network of building at a depth of 20 to 200 mm under floor at every 2 to 3 mtr. c/c distance (adjusted as per building layout ) & Ends of loop pass through a PVC elbow of minimum 32 mm ID at junction box of wall and floor level, entering into a steel reinforced grooved flexible pipe of minimum 22 mm ID leading into junction box and the loops shall terminate in junction boxes & test every junction during injecting chemicals for termite control treatment. The anti termite chemical Imidacloprid 30.5% SC mix as per IS-6313 (part III) shall be injected by the pressure pump diluted with water @ 10.5 ml/5 ltr of water at the rate of 2 Kg/sq.cm @ 5 Ltr/SMT. The contractor shall submit approved line plan for piping system and junction boxes dully approved by Engineer-in-Charge with bond of 5 year warranty.(i)Anti Termite chemical injected area (Chemical injecting incl. labour cost) Wall Treatment
Providing & applying a coat of residual petroleum bitumen of grade of VG-10 of approved quality using 1.7kg per square metre on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with brushes and finally with apiece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil. Periphery
Treatment at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion Chlorpyriphos/ Lindane (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litres per hole by drilling 6 mm dia holes at downward angle of 45 degree at 150 mm centre to centre and sealing the same.

Length & Brass Extruded Handle for doors of 15 cms. Length/ anti-termite treatmen etc. complete. as per direction of Engineer In Charge.

Providing and fixing Well seasoned first class teak wood frame work consisting of battens 50x25mm fixed with rawl plug and drilling necessary holes for rawl plug etc.
Providing and fixing the Facia Eaves board on wooden sloping roof in a decorative manner made up 25 mm x 250 mm size of Teak wood including all neccessary fixtures & fastenings and finish with oil based paint and complete as per the drawing and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing & fixing on roof pressed clay tile (Mangalore tile) of 20 mm nominal thickness and of approved size 250x400x20 mm or approved by EIC location- Morbi Gujarat/equivalent and as per approved pattern on wooden frame work complete (wooden frame work to be paid separately).
Providing & fixing on Kerala tile of 20 mm nominal thickness and of approved size 300x200x20 mm or approved by EIC location- Morbi Gujarat/equivalent and as per approved pattern on wooden frame work complete (wooden frame work to be paid separately).
Painting (one or more coats) with black japan paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade.
Appliying priming coat over new wood and wood based surface after and including preparing the surface by throughly cleaning oil, grease, dirt and other foreign matter, sand papering and knotting. (B) Ready mixed paint brushing wood primier pink.
Painting two coats (excluding priming coat) on new wood and wood based surface with enamel paint, interior to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter sand papering and stopping.
Polishing in high gloss/matt finish melamine clear polish on wood work in required color/wooden shade texture with following process in the sequence as detailed below: 1. The surface to be polished is rubbed with sand paper 80/120 no. and then with sand paper of 160/180 nos. 2. Applying two coats of sealer with spray gun and allowing sufficient drying time for 1st coat and 2nd coat is allowed to dry for 8 to 12 hrs. 3. On drying of sealer coat, wet rubbing with emery cloth of finer grading with ample water to remove excess sealer layer and make the surface further smooth after this wet rubbing, then surface is applied with special grade melamine fillers to fill all the small and big holes/grooves etc. Filler coat to be allowed to dry for 4 to 6 hrs on which again a light wet rubbing is done this surface is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. 4. On this, 1st coat of melamine polish is applied with spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner in required proportion. This 1st coat is allowed to dry for 24 hrs then this dry surface is again fine wet rubbed smooth, which is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. The final melamine polish is applied with compressor pressure spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner mixed in required proportion complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Final coat to be done in 1 or 2 layers without gap of time.)
Providing & Fixing Stone Benches as per design & details in Dhrangadhra (sandstone) incl. foundation work, fitting etc. complete.
Providing & Fixing heritage type circular wooden railing having 3" Dia is tobe fitted with brass coupler with well-seasoned class A Indian teak wood ( Nagpur teak, CP Teak, Valasadi or equivalent) to be finished with wallnut french polish and protection coat against weather to be mounted on exsisting wall as per design and directed by EIC.
Providing & Fixing heritage type circular wooden railing having 3" Dia is tobe fitted with brass coupler with well-seasoned class A Indian teak wood ( Nagpur teak, CP Teak, Valasadi or equivalent) to be finished with wallnut french polish and protection coat against weather to be mounted on brass pipe balusters as per design and directed by EIC.
Providing and Fixing 1.5 Mtr X 1.5 Mtr and10mm toughened glass box fixed in class A indian teak wood having size of 3" x 3" ( Nagpur teak, CP Teak, Valasadi or equivalent) to be finished with wallnut french polish and protection coat against weather including fitting of glass on frame including necessary screws and mirror cap as directed by EIC
