Coalescing filters shall be provided at the outlet of the breathing air receiver to remove liquid contaminants and particles1 µm and larger. The scope of work includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning. (Ref Annexure- II S.no 11 of section-V ) .

Galvanized Seamless Steel Pipe: Supply, handling, transportation of plain end galvanised Seamless Steel pipes for instrument & breathing air system and general use water system conforming to ASTM A 53 Gr B Sch 40. The scope of work includes marking, cutting, fabrication (excluding welding), erection of pipes on fabricated supports at site and painting (two coat of primer and two coats of paint of approved make and colour) as per the approved drawings and piping material specification (Ref Annexure- 1 of Section -V).

Anchor Fastners: Supply and fixing of heavy duty, expansion type, GI anchor fasteners as per technical specifications along with bolts and washers for fixing the base plate and providing pipe supports where ever embedded plates are not available/provided.

MS Structural Supports: Supply, fabrication, erection, painting of MS Supports for Piping material conforming to IS2062 Gr-B , the structural member shall be ISMC channels, Hollow steel section, ISA Angles and MS Plates as per technical specification and approved drawings (10% of LP on final pass). Two coats of red oxide zinc chrome primer (IS 2074) and two coats of enamel paint shall be applied over supports. Rate shall be quoted inclusive of marking, cutting, welding, fabrication, LPE and painting cost as specified in the Tender specification (Ref. section-V )

Butt Weld : Butt welding of ASTM A53 Gr B Sch 40&ASTM A106 Grade.B pipe using SMAW process with E7018 electrode of approved makes, Liquid penetrant (LP) examination 100% as per specifications. (Ref .section-V )

Fillet Weld : Fillet welding of ASTM A53 Gr B Sch 40&ASTM A106 Grade.B pipe and corresponging fittings (after removal of GI coating for GI pipe/fitting)using SMAW process with E7018 electrode of approved makes, Liquid penetrant (LP) examination 100% as per specifications. (Ref. section-V )

Radiography: Radiography of butt welded joints as per approved procedure and technical specifications of the tender. The rate shall include the cost of arranging X-ray machine, dark room facility, X-ray film, consumables for film developing, processing, drying, skilled and unskilled personnel, etc. (Note: The weld joints found acceptable after radiography test shall only be considered for the payment purpose).

Pneumatic Test : Pneumatic Test for instrument and brathing air system pipe lines after completion of all connections as per tender specification. Required compressor will not be provided at site. Main pipe to be pressurized while testing of pipe. (One lot may be approximately considered to be 100 m of piping)(Ref. section-V )

Hydro Test :DM Water Hydro Test for pipe lines (including jacket pipe), fire hydrant and general use water lines after completion of all connections as per tender specification. Required DM water will not be provided at site. Main pipe to be pressurized while testing of jacket pipe. (One lot may be approximately considered to be 100 m of piping) (Ref. section-V )
