Excavation in trenches for pipes & sewers in hard rock by chiselling including dewatering, if necessary stacking & disposing excavated materials within a distance of 50m lead for the following depths as directed by EIC

CPVC PIPES & FITTINGS Providing & fixing on exposed or concealed surface of the following sizes chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (C-PVC) pipe of specified class including of following work:- i) Supply & fixing C-PVC pipes, including all necessary fittings confirming to IS -15778. (ii) Laying and fixing the pipe and specials on exposed surface to correct line, level and plumb for water supply line, overflow and vent using M.S. nails/ screw, rowel plugs, wooden gutties and branded clamp of Supreme /Prince make to the pipeline as per the site requirement. (iii) Testing the pipe line to a hydraulic pressure as per manufacturers catalogue for leak proof joints or as prevalent code. (iv) Making leak proof threaded /solvent joints, including cutting the pipe, joint preparation , cloning, marking, application of solvent materials (v) Cutting or making the holes or chase in RCC or brick work structure such as wall, column, beam , slab , chajja & dada etc. for passing the pipe line and reinstating all the damage to its original condition proof joints. (vi) Providing & fixing C-PVC joinable/ threaded fittings/ such as brass MTA, brass FTA, Union, couplings,Nipples, Bends, Elbows,reducer,tee,reducer-tee,,tank connectors, Expansion, Loops ,U clamps minimum 12mm,z brackets,Bypass, testing the pipes with clean & potable water as per standard specifications including removing of existing pipes , arranging scaffolding for fixing of vertical riser along the wall & transporting the same from site to the DCSEM stores or viceversa all as directed by EIC.Note:Seperate payment will be made for items-Brass Cpvc MTA & FTA . vii) For underground CPVC pipe laying should be encased in GI sleeve pipe,class B. viii)For vertical CPVC pipe riser pipe laying should be on z type GI bracket with U clamp/bolt and GI nut bolt fittings.

Supply, Laying, Installation of GI 'B' class pipes of following diameter & replacing the same by transporting & laying new GI 'B' class pipes conforming to IS:1239 of approved make including fitting like elbows, tees, unions, couplings, reducers, enlargers, bends, G.I. threaded flanges etc. all other fittings required for completion conforming to IS: 1239 including cutting the pipes to the required length & replacing the pipes by new one including the cost of all jointing materials like hemp yarn, white or red lead, painting the pipes with bituministic paint & hessian cloth, scraping, testing the pipes with clean & potable water as per standard specifications including removing of existing pipes & transporting the same to the DCSE/ PH/Mechanical stores all as directed by EIC.

Providing and fixing Gunmetal Gate valves of following dia. confirming to IS-778 with new hand wheels at top including fitting like elbows, tees, unions, couplings, reducers, enlargers, bends etc. all other fittings required for completion conforming to IS: 1239 including testing for 10kg/Sqcm with clean & potable water as per standard specifications & as directed by EIC.

Providing and fixing Float valve of following dia.& replacing the same by transporting & laying new Prayag or equivalent approved make including fitting like elbows, tees, unions, couplings, reducers, enlargers, bends etc. all other fittings required for completion conforming to IS: 1239 including cutting the pipes to the required length & replacing the pipes by new one including the cost of all jointing materials like hemp yarn, white or red lead, painting the pipes with bituministic paint & hessian cloth, scraping, testing the pipes with clean & potable water as per specification & as directed by EIC.

Providing and fixing New air vent pipe with SS mosquito cap of 1/2" dia.& replacing the same by transporting & laying new GI 'C' class pipes conforming to IS:1239-1979 Zenith/Jindal or equivalent approved make including fitting like elbows, tees, unions, couplings, reducers, enlargers, bends etc. all other fittings required for completion conforming to IS: 1239 including cutting the pipes to the required length & replacing the pipes by new one including the cost of all jointing materials like hemp yarn, white or red lead, painting the pipes with bituministic paint & hessian cloth, scraping, testing the pipes with clean & potable water as per specification & as directed by EIC.

Providing Cast iron Mosquito proof hinged cover with frame having suitable locking arrangement, weighing between 25 to 30 kg for Manhole opening of water tank, fixing the cover by providing studs, nuts, built-in hold fasts etc.by chasing or cutting holes and grouting with cement mortar ! :1 by adding approved water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement, painting the frame & cover with three coats of anti corrosive black bit mastic paint, etc. all complete as per specification & as directed by EIC. The frame & cover shall be approved make.

Making GI threaded flanged joints to a pressure pipes & specials of following sizes for water supply including drilling the holes to the flanges conforming to BS 10 table E including providing GI nut bolts with double washers, jointing materials like neoprene rubber insertion or equivalent & fuel, labour including making sockets pits for lead pouring & caulking & testing the joints to 10 kg/cm2 pressure with minimum period of testing of two hours with clean & potable water, as per specification & as directed by EIC.

Supply and fixing of GI support bracket set for riser pipeline of minimum size 150x150x25mm,3 mm thick or of appropriate size as per site requirement for fixing and supporting the riser pipe lines upto to the top overhead tank area.

Providing & laying UPVC above/underground/wall areas UPVC pipes with necessary fittings such as bends, tees , reducers, blanking plugs, couplers, adaptors,etc., of Supreme / Prince or equivalent approved make of 25 mm size stiffness , in trenches at all depths, to correct grade, level & alignment, including jointing with cement solvent joints , testing before refilling as per standard specifications and as directed by EIC''.

Construction of pit valve chambers of sizes 450X450 mm up to 450 mm depth from ground level in 230 mm thick bricks masonry in cement mortar 1:6 & in over a bed of 150mm thick cement concrete 1:4:8 foundation having 150mm offset over brick masonry all around, cement plaster 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on inside, outside & all exposed surfaces finished with a coat of neat cement, necessary cement concrete 1:2:4 seating for Everplast/RCC covers at top & providing & fixing Everplast/RCC covers of 50 mm thick, curing,etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Cutting the existing asphalt macadam road for exposing, laying pipe lines, sewers, cables etc. up to & including random rubble soling & making good the same after satisfactory completion of work but excluding black topping, watering, ramming, all complete as directed & to the entire satisfaction of EIC

Demolishing plain cement concrete work by chiselling at all levels including disposal of removed materials within 50m lead all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including compaction, finishing, curing, cost of form work, shuttering, centering and disposal of debris etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Labour charges only for laying 50 mm average thickness rough Shahabad stones/paver blocks paying in footpaths over a bed of 150mm thick murrum to proper slope, including cutting the edges to proper lines & sink/flush pointing with cement mortar 1:3 with 15*10 mm groove crosswise & longitudinally or finishing as per the original & adjacent foot path, curing, cutting of stones wherever required & transporting the stones to the site of work from DCSE stores/removed from site under relevant item etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge

Brick work using bricks as specified in foundation & plinth including curing, racking out joints above ground level & simultaneous pointing below ground level etc. complete all as per specification using cement mortar 1:6 & to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Cement plaster 20 mm thick in single coat over exterior masonry & concrete surfaces at all levels with cement mortar 1:4, finishing smooth with neat cement to correct line, levels, plumb & curing etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge

R R MASONRY IN FOUNDATION: Random rubble masonry using spotless black trap or approved local stone in foundation & plinth, in cement mortar 1:6, including racking out joints or simultaneous flush pointing above ground level/ plinth level, curing etc. complete.

R R MASONRY IN SUPER-STRUCTURE: Random rubble masonry using spotless black trap or approved local stone in super-structure, in cement mortar 1:6, including racking out joints or simultaneous flush pointing above ground level/ plinth level, curing etc. complete.

DEMOLISHING OF RR MASONRY: Demolishing rubble masonry in cement mortar including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials & disposing of unserviceable materials within 50m lead etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

DEMOLISHING & REDOING OF RR MASONRY: Demolishing rubble masonry in cement mortar including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials within 50m lead including re-doing the same with available stones in CM 1:6 etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

DEMOLISHING OF BRICK WORK: Demolishing brick work in cement mortar including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials & disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead.

CORE CUTTING: Providing and making cores of different sizes using electric operated core cutting machine and make the joint leak proof using waterproofing cement mortar all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing , Fabricating ,laying , jointing & welding of Mild Steel works of at all levels in steel sections like angles flats tees & channels, MS plain or chequered plates by providing double flanges to spool piece,GI Nut & bolts, insertation of rubber gasket, elbow, bend reducer, enlarger, tee, coupler, adopter etc. including cost of labour charges for cutting, welding materials, grinding, finishing, painting the surfaces with one coat of primer and two coat of main enamel paint of approved make, transportation etc. & testing with potable water and complete all as per instructions & directed by Engineer-In-Charge. NOTE: Size of spooled piece & fitting will be decide by Engineer-In-Charge and payment shall be made on weight basis.

Disposal of all excavated surplus earth material/ debris to be transported and disposed to outside the colony by on its own transport arrangement without any extra payment including loading, unloading, stacking levelling if required transporting at site etc. complete directed by the EIC.

Part - B: Rebate for old dismantled existing material like old GI/CI/MS pipes & fittings, valves from site & taking out these dismantled materials from Anushaktinagar premises including loading, unloading, stacking levelling if required transporting & labours at site etc. complete directed by the EIC. NOTE: 1) Exisitng underground / wall pipe to be removed by excavation and the excavation shall be measured and paid under relavent SOQ item. 2) The amount for this Part - B rebate item will be substracted from Part - A to arrive the total amount quoted in General Abstract.
