SITC of Departure & Inclined Arrival conveyor system Design, manufacturing & supply at site, the of following equipments & components of departure BHS and Inclined arrival BHS (Item No 1.01 to 1.11) as per technical specification and indicative conveyor layout drawings including supply of required length of power & control cables for laying from power tapping point to control panel and from control panel to drive units, raceways/conduits, wires, copper loop earthing wire /bare copper conductor along with all other accessories such as limit switches, emergency stop push buttons, hooters & annunciations, load sensors, timers, toppling devices, frames & supports, baggage sensors/photo eyes, diverter rollers, all accessories for connecting /integrating with BMS, etc as per requirement of each item mentioned below if any, including all accessories required for successful commissioning and operation of BHS complete as required. Check-in conveyor system in two sections comprising of Weighing & Labelling conveyor and Despatch conveyor of minimum length 1200mm along with suitable drive unit of each section, with minimum useful belt width of 650mm and minimum ply between side walls (as per OEM standards ), conveyor bed made of 3mm thick (minimum) galvanized or powder coated / epoxy coated mild steel, with two numbers of digital display range 0- 200 Kg with accuracy of ± 0.05% (One each for passenger and airlines staff to be provided at location as per direction of EIC) etc complete as required One set comprises of 01 no. weighing & labelling conveyor, 01 no. dispatch conveyor and 02 nos. weighing display and all its accessories. The item from 1.01 to 1.05 includes conveyor belt of 2ply, 3mm (minimum) thickness polyester black colour carcass PVC smooth top for horizontal conveyors and 4.0 mm (minimum) rough top for inclined conveyors , flame retardant, antistatic, robust, flexible, capable of providing continuous service and of very low friction type belt and joint kit (alligator type) etc. Diamond cut belt of 7.5 mm thickness is also acceptable.

Motorized Security Shutter made of aluminium 2 hrs fire rated as per site requirement in the wall opening (wall between passenger and non-passenger area) along with suitable drive unit, limit switches, guide rails, wiring and integration with control panel etc. complete as required. Gravity Roller Table constructed from heavy duty mild steel box section formed from 50 mm diameter heavy-duty rollers at an appropriate pitch to suit the intended duty made out of utility grade stainless steel including support, bearing etc complete as required (for both departure and arrival BHS of suitable dimensions as per drawing). Heavy duty race track slat type inclined arrival baggage re-claim carousels conveyor of loop length 60 mtrs, measured along the centre line, useful width 1200mm (minimum), having slope angle as given in technical specification and speed of 24-30 metres /min (approx). Conveyor shall have die cast aluminium chain block, friction type suitable capacity drive unit with for soft starters/VFD, slat shall be made of 5/6mm thick (minimum) antistatic, flame retardant moulded rubber/PVC/ABS material and mounted on slat support of suitable dimensions made of 3mm thick (minimum) M.S./ aluminium sheet and having a loading capacity of 100 kg per meter linear, with stainless steel side covering, toe kick plate, trim / facia finish, chain track, etc complete as required (Refer technical specification for full details)

PLC based BHS control panel for departure conveyor system which includes main PLC, switch gears, protection devices, soft starters/VFDs for conveyor drives, sensors and all other components suitable for operation & safety of complete departure BHS including check-in conveyors (weigh& label and despatch), takeaway, queuing and transport online UPS of suitable capacity along with battery for the panel with a back up time of 30 minutes power on full load to all control systems of BHS, PLCs and display. Installation, testing and commissioning (ITC) Installation and testing of items mentioned in mentioned in Sl.No 1.01 to 1.11 above for departure and arrival BHS including all civil works, bolting/fixing of frames /structures, control panel along with all its accessories, all type cablings/wirings, earthings, making all necessary electrical connections as per standards, connecting/integrating with BMS for controlling and monitoring of all conveyor system, calibration of departure weighing conveyor from Legal Meteorological Department of Karnataka, ITC of all items and accessories required for successful commissioning of system complete as required, testing the system as a whole, correcting any defects/errors during observation period, training of AAI staffs, commissioning the whole system in totality, documentation of the commissioning and handing over the system to AAI etc. complete as required. SH:II Annual Operation & Comprehensive Maintenance Contract

All Inclusive Comprehensive Maintenance Contract(AICMC):AICMC after DLP of two years of complete Departure and Arrival Conveyor system as mentioned under SH:I which includes supply of all required spares including belts, tools, consumables & cleaning materials, rectification of faults with minimum down time, preventive & corrective maintenance as per OEM/AAI standards and technical support as specified in SCC, Technical Specification and particular specifications of Operation & AICMC with complete in all respect.

OPERATION: Operation & Upkeeping of the Departure & Arrival Baggage Handling System as mentioned under SH:I which involves routine maintenance & checks, attending to complaint/fault/breakdowns, and taking rectification action & carrying out minor repairs ensuring serviceability/satisfactory working condition of the system, maintenance of log books/records etc, on all days including Sundays & holidays.
