Attending complaints for checking and replacing the existing defective electrical items for continuous electric supply including carrying out minor repair as required to make the item functional and replacing fuse, small pieces of copper wire, copper cable of suitable size at site, insulation tape roll etc., attending minor repair(s) such as testing, connections, fittings, nuts, bolts, screws etc to ceiling fan, exhaust fan (without taking down) etc, emergent complaints i.e. no light, earth leakage, short circuit, neutral break in mains/sub mains/ internal circuits of existing electrical system of main building/block and making continuous electric supply including carrying out minor repairs etc., required to make the system in order/functional with insulation tape roll, copper thimbles, glands, earthing wire etc. as required at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes :- 1. The contractor shall make all arrangement for attending the different types of complaints at Khanpur (North & South) Army Camp Power House, Dundahera,Mil Station Power House & Manesar Army Power House on day to day basis. Any major item required to be replaced with new one to make the system functional shall be measured and paid for separately as "M&L" under respective item of this schedule. Contractor has to provide adequate numbers of tradesmen with helper including all necessary T&P on all working days in two shifts from 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs and 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs. Additional manpower can be engaged if nature of work is required to be completed within fix time frame as desired by the GE. Rate shall be quoted accordingly against these items, keeping in mind above said provisions. Any small fitting(s) of very less financial effect required to be replaced with new one to make the system functional shall not be paid as seperate and the rates quoted by the tenderer are deemed to be included for fixing the same without any extra cost to the department. Old retrived item(s) as considered in 'Schedule of Credit' shall become property of the contractor

2. Proper records (date wise) of complaints received & rectified by the contractor and Attendance Register of trademen/Helper etc. shall be maintained. 3. The contractor will ensure that the team of Electricians with necessary tools bag etc. shall always remain present at complaint cell to attend the complaints. 4. The complaints are to be attended immediately i.e. within 60 minutes. If the complaints not attended within 60 minutes necessary recovery (panelty) per complaint for not attending the complaint within stipulated time frame shall be made from the contractors claim as per under :- (a) Not attending the complaint 60 minutes to 3 Hrs - Rs.50/complaint. (b) Not attending the complaint beyond 3 Hrs & upto 5 Hrs - Rs.100/complaint. (c) Not attending the complaint beyond 5 Hrs - Rs.200/complaint.

Taking down of ceiling fan/ exhaust fan/ wall fan dismantling of blades, transportation to work shop and carrying out rewinding, transportation to site, reinstallation and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Rewinding will be measured and paid under respective item.

M&L for Rewinding of ceiling fan 1200/1400 mm sweep by dismantling of fan motor cutting and removing of burnt windings, cleaning, winding with supper enameled copper wire of superior quality, same gauge of wire, same Nos of turns, provn of insulation paper applying of varnish drying of varnish and assembling of fan including replacement of gun metal bush, shaft and ball bearing etc. where ever required complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Ball bearing and shaft will be measured and paid separately under respective item.
