M&L for Taking out /disconnecting and refixing after descaling of sluice valves and condensers for descaling and plugging it & providing 15mm' T' outlet for local circulation of mild acid solution in the condenser ( seprate container and small pump set to circulate diluted acid solution to be used ) correct ph value of solution to be circulated and it should be checked every hour during the operation . scalegon water solution (as approved by GE) to be used for descaling purpose after 2 to 3 hours of cleaning , if PH-value remains less than 7, flush water will be added in the sodium carbonate ,tubes to be cleaned with nylon brush and closing the end covers after circulated diluted acid solution as specified as above and ph value to be maintained and flushing the same with fresh water including cleaning of cooling tower and all of the sluice valves with lines in the system with diluted acid, recharging of stored refrigerant up to required pressure complete as specified and directed by Engineer – in- Charge,for the followings :

Taking down and refix after rewinding of monoblock pump motor of capacity 7.5 HP, 3 phase , 50Hz with super enameled copper winding wire ,make : Atlas / Devidyal / Finolex, including replacement of unserviceable accessories i.e bushes , impellers , locking key and nuts , washers etc to mono block pump including transportation of pump and motor for repair complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down and refixing after rewinding of AHU/CT Fan motor and compressor motor of following capacity, 3 phase , 50 Hz with super enameled copper winding wire (existing size) make :Atlas / Devidyal/ Finolex, including replacement of unserviceable accessories i.e. bearing,nuts , washers etc including transportation of motor for repair complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge:-

Replacement of unserviceable thermostatic expansion valves suitable for 17.5 TR Central AC Plant , make :-Sanlan/Danfoss/Avcon/Sporlan pilot solenoid control valve or equivalent to list of make as approved by GE, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for replacement of unserviceable brass liquid line valve 25 mm PS-25, make :-DANFOSS or equivalent to list of make as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable digital electronic type temperature meter with RH arrangement range of approx '0' degree centigrade to '50' degree centigrade complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M &L for replacement of old unserviceable water thermometer in range of approx '0' degree centigrade to '50' degree centigrade complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of old unserviceable safety control valve ( pressure relief type ) size approx "3/8” at condenser unit, make : Accel / Indofoss / Danfoss or equivalent to list of make as approved by GE, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of old unserviceable safety control valve ( pressure relief type ) size approx. " ½” at condenser unit, make : Accel / Indofoss / Danfoss or equivalent to list of make as approved by GE, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M& L for replacement of old unserviceable water pressure gauge of existing capacity approx 14 kg/cm2 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm X 600mm X 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meter below ground level) connected to GI strip 32mm X 6mm main earthing lead by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (1991) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board etc with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt alround earth plate, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) 50mm thick cover reinforced with 6mm dia bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia round bar handle, GI light grade watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh, and 40 mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, complete all as specified and directed. S&F, in replacement, unserviceable float valve with brass stop cock in cooling towers water make up tanks suitable for existing size 1/2 “, 1/4 “, 1” including necessary suitable water supply fittings ie. Socket, nipple, reducer etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F, in replacement, of FRP Eliminator sutaible for 2 x 17.5 TR AC Plant cooling tower of different size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down 5 HP to 40 HP motor with isolating rotor & stator,cleaning & greasing in the exiting bearing & reassembling of complete motor & fixing on same position complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for cleaning,scrubing & painting of complete central/package type AC PLANT (Capacity 2 X 17.5 TR) with one coat synthetic enamel paint in existing/approved colour code including pumps ,motors, startors, LT panel board,fan blower,compressor,pipe line, condenser etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Ditto all as per item No- 38 but capacity of AC Plant 2 x 35 TR

Supply and filling, in replacement, compressor oil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F, in replacment, V Belt for AC plant size B-76/A 50/C 102/B 38/B 87 etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Suplly and filling of R-22 Refrigerant gas also vaccum and pressure testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix, in repairs, cooling tower fan motor of capacity 3.0 HP, 3 Phase, 1440 RPM with extended shaft including taking down old uncerviceable blower motor and deposited to MES store yard complete all as specified and directed. Supply & fix, in repairs, condensor pump motor monoblock pumping set completed with motor of capacity 7.5 HP, 3 Phase, 1440 RPM with extended shaft having minimum 22.0 Metre head including taking down old uncerviceable pumping set and depositing to MES store yard complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Kirloskar , crompton Greaves , ABB or equivalent to list of make as approved by GE.

M&L for duct insulation with resin bonded fibre glass wool roll of density 24 kg/Cum, with factory laminated aluminium vapour barrier, thickness of insulation as specified and including the followings :- (a) M&L for cleaning the duct surface (to be insulated ) by scrapping carefully with wire brush etc. to make the surface completely free of mill scale, dirt, dust, grease and other foreign materials, taking special care so that all duct joints are sealed against any leakage. (b) M&L for applying rubber based adhesive CPRX compound. (c) M&L for sealing of all longitudinal joints and circular overlaps with and including Aluminium foil tape 50 mm wide,to make the insulation leakproof. (d) M & L for securing the insulation with and including mechanically fastened nylon/ steel straps of size 12 mm/50 mm at maximum intervals of 1.2 mtr of size 25 mm."

Material and Labour for complete leak testing the AC plant of 2 x 35 TR capacity, chiller / direct expansion type and rectify the leaks in the joints valves, gauge board, compressor gas & oil connections and pressure testing the system with Nitrogen gas, and holding the pressure for 48 Hrs. check for any drop, vaccumising the system as per the standard and charging only the gas, testing & commissioning the plant including necessary gas welding of copper tubes complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Filling of gas R/22 will be measured and paid seperatly (ii) The cost of leakage testing with Nitrogen (N2) is deemed to be included under the unit rate quoted by the contractor for this item (iii) If leakage is observed again after the repair work, the same leakage has to be rectified without any additional cost and shall not be maeasured seaprately.
